What makes black and white photography so important to you? Black and white photography is important to me because it was black and white photographs that drew me into the world of photography in the first place and when I really got into it I learned a lot about photography in general just by working in black and white. It helped me see the importance of light and that of shadows and allowed me to express emotions and moods that I was feeling.
