Question for the universe: Can I do this? Can I make Rex a bad guy? I know how much people love him. I don’t want to be murdered by the fandom. Should I terminate this idea? Also is this tooooo much whump to lay on poor Obi’s shoulders? IS THIS TOO FAR?

Story’s background: AU where Obi doesn’t become Qui-Gon’s padawan, but after a few years in Agricorps, leaves to attend University on Mandalore. There he meets Rex Fett who is going though a lot, and is kind of an asshole because of that. It isn’t until much later that he meets Rex’s brother Cody, when Cody is on shore leave from his position in the Republic military.

Expert:

“How dare you!” Rex growled, and pushed Obi-Wan, hard.

Obi-Wan’s eyes widened in shock. He wasn’t able to catch his balance in time and fell on his ass on the dirty pavement.

“How could you do this to me?!” Rex towered over him, intimidatingly.

Everyone leaves him, and he is so done. The only person who still seems to be on his side is his buir and he wants nothing to do with him. Another year at university doing a degree his buir wanted him to do. Well at least it got him away from home and all that mess. Then he meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, doesn’t even know his name, but it may be the worst thing that has ever happened to him.

Depa and Grey adopted their boy Caleb.

Mace Windu and Obi Wan got a nap.

Anakin and Padme went to marriage counseling and had their twins.

Ahsoka is the cool aunt

The clones got their rights.

Bail Organa is the Chancellor

Shaak and Plo got married and adopted every clone as their child.

The only death that happened was Palpatine in a freak elevator and burrito accident.

And then we get to Geonosis. The entire thing goes exactly like in the movies. Except when all the commotion is done, the jedi are resting and they see a clone and they are all like “Hey man thanks for saving me. Good job” And then some clone gets her helmet off to reveal a pretty face with long ass hair and pretty long eyelashes.

So the Clone Wars™ begins. But there are 200 HUNDREAD THOUSANDS GIRLS UNDER REPUBLIC CONTROL. And then the fucking jedi get told

“Hey men. So we are going to drop around 8000 girls at your care. I dont know. Have fun i guess. Oh. And win the war and all that”

So im not the best at Headcannons but let ME TELL YOU THIS

ANAKIN DIES INSIDE. He SUCKS with the clones at first. He gets all unconfortable because “is he cheating at Padme?” They are my soldier! I have to care for them. And then he meets Rex. And his jaw drop. Not because she is a fucking bombshell. But because she is BADASS. She can take a hundread clankers and keep fighting

Okay for all you weirdos out here with me: you don’t even need to make this mpreg, but I need Anakin breastfeeding Luke and Leia. He did not give birth to them he just starts lactating one day when the babies are crying in the middle of the night and he’s too tired to analyze it till morning, at which point he calls Obi-Wan and asks him if that’s normal. Obi-Wan, who is ready for any question that could come out of his baby brothers little gremlin mouth, just goes ‘yeah sure I guess. Just. Idk. Get checked out in medical???? Idk man’ and meets him in the healing halls for a checkup later. It turns out to be healthy and normal breast milk. Might as well. Padme is delighted and already considering letting hers dry up. Anakin says he would accept that but she keeps hers for a few more months anyways.
