DnD Story Time with Karp

So

Its D&D night right? I’ve added two of my buddies into the game to round out the group into a party of 5 with me as the Dungeon Master. The party consists now of:

One Aasimar Pugilist One Tiefling Investigator Rogue One Half-Elf Monster Hunter Ranger One Human Wizard and one Fire Genasi Wild Magic Sorcerer.

Pay attention to that last one cause thats gonna be important.

so the party, after gaining the two new companions, leave the town amidst the dark of night after a recent goblin raid on the town they had stopped in and arrive at the edge of the forest. Being the helpful (and currently incredibly drunk) guy that he is, the Genasi decides to cast invisibility upon our Tiefling to help them sneak through the no doubt goblin infested woods.

Upon doing so, not only does the tiefling vanish thanks to the spell

but a Unicorn pops into existence, spooked as it has no idea whats going on.

and our tieflings first instinct?

Attack it.

He misses.

Initiative is rolled

and it ends up with the unicorn bolting out of the place after nearly caving the Tieflings chest in with its hooves and badly wounded from the rapier attack by the tiefling and a Twinned Spell Magic Missile cast by the sorcerer who, as a result, is now permanently 7 years younger thanks to wild magic, from 27 down to 20.

so with the rogue of the party pretty damn hurt

they head into the forest to track down the goblins
