Very Veggie Challenge Sims 4 to 3 Conversion (WIP/Playtesting)
Starting this off I'd like to say that this is a work in progress and I am actively play testing this. If anything is contradictory or impossibly challenging(or too easy) please lmk so I can adjust it!

Very Veggie Legacy Challenge
This challenge was made by Lilsimsie and Alwayssimming and converted to sims 3 by me(Kasper-H) its a ten generation legacy challenge with each generation based on a different vegetable and color. It’s recommended to match the sim’s outfit and house to their color, but that is optional. As Lilsimsie states in the original description this is a rags to riches style legacy challenge. Meaning you start off with nothing 0 simolians and an empty lot is your starting point and your goal is to play through all 10 generations.
None of the rules of this challenge are a must, you can change and bend them however fits your play style. The goal is to have fun and maybe play with the sims in way you haven’t before.
General Rules
The goal is to play through 10 generations and slowly build up your home and family tree. Your founder will have kids(adoption is also allowed) and from those kids you must choose one to represent the next vegetable.
Setting up
Start with 1 young adult founder sim
Dress your founder to match their color and vegetable
Use gen 1 colors , traits , and lifetime wish for your founder sim
Choose favorites freely except for color which should match their generation color
Start on an empty lot of your choice
Set household funds to 0
Rules
Play through 10 generations and complete all goals per generation
All careers must be finished unless stated other wise
If your missing a feature mentioned in any part you can replace it with something similar you do have
You may move lots or worlds when you have the funds to or you can choose not to its really up to you where your sims live (Though if you do move I recommend have nrass mover or creating a family tree for your sims or you will not see previous generations on the tree once you move worlds)
Avoid using money cheats or any other gameplay cheats, but resetsim and moveobject cheats are allowed
Have your sim’s house and outfit match their assigned vegetable and any other aspects that you'd like to match their vegetable
Have fun!! After all that is the main goal of the challenge. Change the rules however you like they arent set in stone, this is all for fun so make the most of it!
Selecting Heirs
Choose any of your founders children (biological or adopted) to become the next vegetable
The next generation begins when you’ve completed all of the past generations goals and the heir has become a young adult
Theres no set rules for which child becomes the heir pick an heir however you like
Broccoli
Generation 1 Dark Green
Vegetables spend a lot of time outside staring at the sky. You notice the way sunlight filters through leaves. You hear how the wind sings. You watch the sky paint a picture every night at sunset. Nature is beautiful, and you want to capture it. You become an artist, and dedicate your life to honing your craft and sharing it with others.
Lifetime Wish – Illustrious Author , Master of the Arts , Descendant of Da Vinci (pick one)
Traits – Dramatic , Artistic , Born Sales(wo)man , Disciplined , Choose trait based on one of the artistic skills
Career – Run a consignment store (any job in till you can afford it)
Goals:
Make 50,000 from consignment store
Max marshal arts skill
Max 3 artistic skills of your choice (cooking , painting , guitar , writing , photography , nectar making sculpting , tattooing , mixology , drums , piano , bass , street art , violin , laser rythem-a-con , artisan)
Eggplant
Generation 2 Purple
Everyone won’t shut up about romance. All day every day you have to listen to weird suggestive eggplant jokes, people complaining about their partners, or even worse: them going on and on about their happy little relationships. You’re sick of it! Love is dead, and you’re going to prove it. You decide your life goal is to ruin as many relationships as possible. Well, at least when you’re off the clock. You can’t exactly quit your day job. Stylist by day, relationship ruiner by night.
Lifetime Wish – Heartbreaker
Traits – Evil . Flirty , Non-committal , Friendly , Charismatic
Career – Stylist profession
Goals:
Every outfit needs to be eggplant purple
Make lots of nectar and have a cellar full
Grow perfect eggplants
Max charisma , athletic , nectar making , and mixology skills
Carrot
Generation 3 Orange
Your parents weren’t exactly great role models for love, and you’ve always struggled with human connection. You long for someone who will accept you, won’t judge you, and will love you for who you are. In your hunt for companionship, you find someone who loves carrots unconditionally: a horse. You devote your life to caring for and raising your horses, and become a championship horse rider.
Lifetime Wish – The Jockey
traits – Equestrian , Loner , Unflirty , Hopeless romantic , Shy
Career – Earn money through horse riding competitions
Goals:
Max Riding
Have 3 horses
Grow carrots
Marry only after becoming an adult
Squash
Generation 4 Yellow
You grew up in a small town on a farm, and you always dreamed of getting away and moving on to bigger and better things. You know you are destined for greatness, and you are determined to never have your dreams squashed. You care deeply about success, and you will do anything in your power to get it.
Lifetime Wish – Perfect Student and Major Master
Traits – Ambitious , Hates Children , Computer Whiz , Rebellious , Genius
Career – Any career benefited by degrees after finishing uni
Goals:
Graduate high school with an A grade
Graduate university
Max logic and social networking skills
Reach level 10 in nerd social group
Choose a career benefited by you degree and max career
Potato
Generation 5 Brown
You never really minded dirt, and you don’t see why anyone else would either. It’s honestly kind of offensive that people are so dramatic about always wanting a “clean house” with “functional appliances” and “no mold.” As a landlord, you don’t worry about any of these things! The tenants can just deal with it. You love to dumpster dive, befriend dust bunnies, and live in filth, and you absolutely NEVER clean.
Lifetime Wish – Resort empire
Traits – Slob , Frugal , Kleptomaniac , Inappropriate , Workaholic
Career – Manage a resort and sell loot from dumpster diving
Goals:
Have a 5 star resort and have a fully leveled resort tower
Have washer and dryer but leave the clothes on the floor
Master gambling and cooking skills
Set pranks for resort guest
Decorate home and resort with items found in dumpsters
Tomato
Generation 6 Red
It’s hard growing up as a tomato in a world of veggies. You’re different from your family. Nobody takes you seriously. People keep pointing out that you contain seeds, and that you grow from the flower of the tomato plant so you can’t possibly be a vegetable like the rest of them. Well, whatever! You’ll show them growing flowers! You decide to become a florist, and you will spend your life trying to prove to yourself to everyone around you.
Lifetime Wish – The Culinary Librarian and The Perfect Garden (or Greener Gardens if your sim is a fairy)
Traits – Socially awkward , Hot-headed , Perfectionist , Green thumb , Natural cook
Career – Gardener
Goals:
Grow Tomato
Max gardening and cooking skills
Get super into grilling and have an outdoor kitchen
Use change life time wish reward to change Lifetime Wish to The culinary librarian or the perfect garden depending on which ever you chose initially
Complete both life time wishes
Complete the plant collection journal
Cauliflower
Generation 7 White
You come from a long line of vegetables, and you are fascinated by your family’s history. So fascinated that you think you start seeing… ghosts? But that can’t be true! Ghosts aren’t real? …right? Your fascination turns into an obsession, and you devote your life to the macabre all while not being fully sure if you even believe in any of it.
Lifetime Wish – Professional Author
Traits – Bookworm , Supernatural fan , Neurotic , Brooding , Brave
Career – Start as a Mausoleum clerk then become a Ghost hunter then a Fortune teller as an elder and reach the mystic branch
Goals:
Max writing
Complete metals and gems collection journals
Write all books about ghost and in the historical genre once unlocked
Use death flowers to die every home world death possible (optionally write an autobiography after each death)
Have a grave collection and let the ghost haunt your house
Marry a ghost
Radish
Generation 8 Pink
You grew up in a house full of death, and now you can’t help but feel chased by it. It doesn’t help that all your hobbies are a little bit dangerous. Just stay away from poison and try not to fall off a mountain. You’ll be fine! Constantly being surrounded by death taught you to live life to the fullest, and instilled within you a deep desire for adventure. The sky’s the limit… literally!
Lifetime Wish – Great Explorer and Become a Superstar Athlete
Traits – Adventurous , Unlucky , Athletic , Daredevil , Supernatural skeptic
Career – Military and Painter
Goals:
Join the military and become an astronaut then quit and become a painter
Own a snow boarding half pipe and roller skating rink
Woohoo an alien can be either try for baby or normal woohoo
Max athletic , handiness , and scuba diving
Use change life time wish reward to change Lifetime Wish to Great Explorer or Become a Superstar Athlete depending on which ever you chose initially
Mushroom
Generation 9 Beige
Considering how your entire family is literally full of vegetables it’s kind of shocking how little any of your ancestors seemed to care about the environment. Your parents traveled the world and took you with them, and now you care deeply about protecting the planet for future generations.
Lifetime Wish – The Zoologist or The Ark Builder
Traits – Loves outdoors , Vegetarian , Choose (Animal lover, Cat person, Dog person) , Eco friendly , Gatherer or Angler
Career – Scientist
Goals:
Complete the bug and fish collection journal
Adopt a stray pet
Grow all mushroom types
Visit good ending Oasis Landing
Max fishing and science skills
Pea
Generation 10 Light Green
Most peas are destined to spend their lives stuffed in the back corner of a freezer, forgotten about. That life was never meant for you. You crave the spotlight. You are a pea of many talents, and you will make yourself unforgettable.
Lifetime Wish – Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous
Traits – Diva , Snob , Virtuoso , Star quality , Proper
Career – Film acting branch
Goals:
Max 3 instruments of your choice
Become a 5 star celebrity
Have a house worth 250,000
Never cook have someone cook for you or only eat soup quick meal
