crescent city is so great because there is someone for every kind of reader

goth gamer fae who has daddy issues and gets piercings/tattoos instead of therapy

goddess of light fae who’s got curves for days and will step on you (also just wants to be loved)

hacker boy who probably has a cat-ear headset hidden in his desk drawer

literal cat-boy with an affinity for speaking in riddles, showing up unannounced, and scaring your friends. also he’s the prince of hell did i mention that

Something I noticed...

In HOSAB, the Autumn King wants to use Bryce as a breeder to "breed more magic into the fae bloodlines" because he says that their magic has been getting weaker and weaker. THEN Hypaxia says the same thing about the witches.

My point is that the Asteri have been feeding off of the magic for so long that the different creatures are noticing their power becoming less and less as the generations progress because there is less magic in the world as a whole. This might add fuel to the fire of the Asteri's desire to end up back in Prythian where they claimed the magic was so plentiful.

@aionuel also mentioned that the fae in Midgard could also be losing power because they don’t do the rituals that the fae in Prythian do to replenish magic 👀👀 which I completely agree with!

I know the event last night has put the publishing order into question, and that's definitely how I and the people I was watching with interpreted her final comments, but -

For those of you who weren't in the fandom in 2017, something interesting she said then is that when she was writing acowar, there was a week where she wrote tens of thousands of words. If memory serves, she wrote 20k words in one day, which is absolute insanity.

My point is that it's not impossible for her to have finished acotar5 because when she gets going she is a beast, and she seemed really hyped to write it last spring.
