i started this blog to talk about my album of the week challenge that i’m doing for 2025 where i listen to an album in it entirety every week and share my thoughts which I did keep up personally but i have not kept up here (my bad)

hayley williams is my favorite band. instagram really liked this piece, i hope y'all do too

this took embarrassingly long! holy cow!

i'm not one to share my silly thinkpieces publicly, but this song is so important to me autistically and i have to tell you why.

i chose this set of photos to accompany my drawling, because i feel like they highlight the media's tendency to focus on Just Hayley Williams when engaging with Paramore. photographers & fans will keep their lenses absolutely fixed on Hayley alone, then the blame is on her for the other members lack of recognition.

despite Hayley's best efforts, introducing the band every show for the better part of 2 decades, and (previously) insisting that she be titled Hayley Williams of Paramore wherever she's credited, misogynists are to this day convinced that she must be an evil mastermind whose only want in life is to be apart of a major label fabrication.

of course. obviously. that's why, after being freed from a 20-year-long contract with said major label, Paramore remain active as a band. and i bet that's also why Hayley is now quite literally screaming "I'M IN A BAND, I'M IN A BAND!" on a solo track /s
