One of these days, I'll be online again. I hardly have a moment to myself at the moment, I work 12 or 15 hour days and during the weekend I either catch up on sleep, or catch up on social engagements. So, honestly, I'm super fucking sorry, but I WILL be back!

I am honestly sorry for being gone so much. But that is what it’s like when I am at work. Work comes first and is often times so demanding, I cannot find time or energy to be online.

I will try and be around a few hours today though!

Once I am settled for stuff, I will go through my activity, but I will very probably drop a number of the smaller, unplotted things. I hope you don’t mind? I’d rather we start something new :)

I’ll also try and bang out a few of the manips I owe you guys :D

But more on that once I’m actually here and ready to get started!

PSA: Please teach your partner how to choke properly if you’re into that kind of thing.

The point of choking is not to crush the oesophagus, but rather to put light pressure on the carotid arteries to stop oxygen circulation to the brain. So tops, please create a V shape with your hands, which allows the fleshy part of the palm to rest against the oesophagus without causing any obstruction to the windpipe, and press down on the arteries. It’s not about stopping your bottom from breathing completely, but making them lightheaded.

This is very, very important!

Also, please don’t attempt any choking whilst under the influence because your better judgement may be impaired and you can cause some serious damage.

Choking is serious business, if you’re going to engage in it, please be sure to practise it properly and in a safe manner!

Whenever we talk about US-centrism on tumblr, everyone gets defensive and is like “well no one is stopping you talking about your issues”. That’s not what we mean when we use that term. Well, it’s not what I mean. There’s nothing wrong with americans talking about issues that directly affects them, that’s great. And of course american issues will get more attention bcs this is a website filled with mostly americans. Grand. The issue is when people start applying American socio-politics in places they don’t fit or make sense.

This is a problem and this is something that shouldn’t be swept under the rug. I see it often. It happens consistently. It happens when you talk about ethnic tensions in Europe. It happens when you talk about ethnicity in Africa… It happens a lot. A lot of non US-concepts will sound strange at first, but try not to dismiss them as wrong, don’t be condescending and also don’t talk over people talking about their own personal experiences.
