After last years Boomtown fair show I was introduced to Brighton producer Asta Hiroki, we got drunk, made grand plans and ended up in the studio shortly after..
I’m chuffed to be a part of his debut release on Jalepeno Records. Huge thanks to Anthony Valadez at KCRW and all the peeps at Couleur3 for the radio support, more you ask...
Hell yes, back to the studio..
Vince Sipprell, what a guy, what a musician and what an inspiration he was.. It was a real honor, pleasure and joy to work with him and I wish dearly that he was still walking on this earth. On the 8th of May an impressive collection fine musicians are performing at the Lexington in tribute to him. The night aims also to raise funds for CALM a charity supporting men going through tough times and depression.
"Oh baby give me one last chance" @grillstock @djflash4eva #walthamstow rocks!
A few weeks ago we met Time For T at Boomtown festival, it was such a lovely live show and the EP has been on repeat, they're on tour right now, catch them if you can!
Back in June I played a vox and bass set in support of Heidi Vogel and her incredible band, here’s a small piece of my favourite intimate show of the year.
Live at the KPH, Ladbroke Grove. Thanks to Adam Pickering for putting together such a lovely night
Soundcheck @bucharestgreensoundsfestival yup eight subs will cover it!
A golden chair for ma lady.. This hotel is just a bit lovely, thanks @greensoundsfestival (at Phoenicia Grand Hotel)

Athens is one of those amazing cities, buzzing day and night, fuelled by great coffee, homemade Limoncello, legendary Mousaka, full moon night walks and great people. Sounds like we didn't do any work but there's a couple of new tracks in the bag I can't wait to share..
Last Saturdays Nepal Earthquake Benefit organised by the fine people of Circus Kathmandu was success by all means. Filling up Brixton Jamm, sets out of the live room came from Alabama 3, Basement Jaxx, Maxi Jazz, Ewan Hoozami, JFB, Kissy Sellout, Scratch Perverts and myself..
More info about the work of Circus Kathmandu here

Chuffed to be heading down to Brighton for The Great Escape Festival this weekend, going to catch some fine music and play a show at The Black Dove Saturday night..
Sharing the Black Dove stage are some damn fine musicians..
Faye and Mike of the Resonators are playing a blues folk set. I have to mention the first time i heard Faye was a few years ago in the Shunt tunnels under London Bridge Station, it was a late night set where she simply blew us away, what a voice! - I’m looking forward to hearing her blues...
I’ve been hearing about the Le Juki live show from all and sundry but kept missing it myself, their album Capillaries is seriously bonkers brilliant. That is all on that matter..
Joe Potter, Creatures of the Deep, Strings Of Peace, The Crucks, Wyndham Earl are all playing from 3pm to 3am..
The Black Dove: 74 St James’s St Brighton BN2 1PA
Back in London! Thanks to all who came to the shows.
The first show in Schaffhausen was such a lovely gig - on a makeshift stage in an ice cream parlor - there was a great combination of exceptional sound an intimate setting and a great crowd.
Thank you El Bertin for having me! Chat Noir- a Genevois institution in a Carouge basement, so much to say- I've spent wonderful evenings on the terrace enjoying their hospitality, great food and music. This time as a performer tre- tre- cool. Merci Rolond and your amazing team.. Last stop was Cafe Bar Mokka in Thun, it's the coolest little venue, a warm welcome to a lone traveller, and an excellent walk through a unique musical history of Thun, a beautiful little town tucked away in the Swiss mountains whose doors are exceptionally open to music from all parts of the globe. The red wine hasn't helped recall the finer details of the arab rock fusion pop folk jazz wig out after the show but all in all it's an unforgettable place- something bigger has and is happening there than the small space it occupies on the map.
Whoop next stop LA!
Looking forward to visiting the land of fine cheese, fine chocolate and fine everything else.. First stop is a voice and bass set at El Bertin Glace, Schaffhausen, second is at the legendary Chat Noir in Carouge - Geneva with the full live band and last stop in Thun, a vox and bass set at Cafe Bar Mokka..
Ill have some copies of EP1 with me, but if i can't get enough of them in my bag they are also available at www.gearboxrecords.com
Lovely sound check with Kevin, warmed up and filling up! (at The Elgin Food Pub & Music House)
