First day at the gym...Ā Wish me luck
Itās the 3rd of January, thereās already been a constant stream ofĀ āNew Year, New Meā posts all over social media and here I am, joining the hype.Ā
As someone thatās been self-conscious about my weight for as long as I can remember, Iām no stranger to making promises about eating healthy and working out that Iāve kept for maybe 2 weeks max⦠Pathetic, I know. This time has to be different; Iām 20 years old (turning 21 this year EEK) and I want to feel HOT!! Like insta famous models posing at Ocean Beach Ibiza with overpriced drinks hot.Ā
Motivation levels are HIGH, Iām sat watching Revenge Body, mentally preparing myself for my first gym session tonight and trying not to think about how little I actually know about the gym *If anyone knows any good apps or sites for workouts and tips PLEASE help a girl out and leave a comment*Ā
I will be walkingĀ around like I have no idea where I am or what Iām doing,Ā because if Iām honest, I donāt, but Iām going to do the research, get stuck in and Iām sure Iāll come away with some form of knowledge I can take forward with me, boosting my confidence. If I donāt then THATāS OKAY!! Iām not going to know it all after 1, 10 or even 20. Hell, even professionals are always coming up with new workouts, so youāll never really know everything.Ā
Thankfully I have my bestĀ friend and my boyfriend on this journey with me, thereĀ to keep me motivated, pick me up when I have bad days (and trust me there will be LOTS) and celebrate the good days.Ā
So, hereās to my first night at the gym and hopefully the start of a successful journey⦠WISH ME LUCKĀ
