An actual finished piece! The colouring of the guy was inspired a particular kind of bird species (a type of swift). He was a blast to draw.

Some days you just need to draw what makes you feel good!
WIP with a fair bit of pixel-pushing to go!
Another tikitot girl! I haven't drawn this character is sooooo long. Wasn't gonna post this drawing actually (not super happy with it) but what the heck!
WIP of a fabulous unicorn :p
Rough characters for a short film about personal transformation. One creature is a doggo-numbat mix, the other... Not sure.
Holiday project, WIP. A rhino-bird in a fantastical canopy.
I bought a small pack of Prismacolor pencils recently, I've always wanted to try them out! This was a little test I did - it's pretty busy but it was fun to do.
Older sketches - around 2014. When I was drawing these I was thinking about doing a series of them in different colours - red, pink , purple and blue. I am still a bit obsessed with the idea of creating an exhibition of coloured animals, playing with our idea of a species generalised personality type.
Shy monster.
Another Tikitot , a boy and his dog.
A moon/sun Panther, which was based on the colouring of a little moth I found in the garden.
I have tried to find the paint pens that would allow me to finish the background, but sadly they don't seem to be a thing anymore. I might digitise him in the future, but I'm posting him here for now.
Dino rider! A recent drawing this time, and a friendlier dinosaur! This is one of my "tiki tot" characters. For her expression I thought about how I’d feel if I had an ancient reptilian to ride everywhere and this is the result… “Awww yissss!”
Another older one - drawn on the train, maybe around 2010.
Getting in some practice before the year gets crazy busy. Happy New Year everyone!
