Brand Identity: LuluMelon Milk Tea
LuluMelon is a Korean inspired milk tea brand marrying milk tea with the fashionable loves of modern korean cultural aesthetic. I was approached by the owners who wanted to come up with Brand Identity for Lulu Melon to be something fun and bright.
The colors in Lulu Melon represent the milk, melon, and tea. We wanted to collaborate with the client to make sure they had a color story and logo that represents the brand well, is approachable, bright, energetic, and creates interest.
The iconic shape of the melon is conveyed with the stem. We worked with various shapes and placements for the leaf to convey melon tea. One of their featured items would've been Melona milk tea which is their signature drink.

We wanted to font match similar fonts in English and Korean for brand consistency. We also wanted to use accessible fonts that were accessible for ease of use of the client.

B.ARK (Bio-Interstellar Ark) If a 2D animated Bullet Hell game created by TicToc Game an indie game development company in LA. It was published on Steam and on Nintendo Switch. Play solo or co-op with up to 4 people in this adorable game where cute animals pilot space ships. I contributed Key Frame Animation and Inbetweening to this project. We used mostly Adobe Photoshop to animate for this workflow.

7th Dragon 2020
Created 7 Character Designs for a Narrative Letās Play of the game 7th Dragon 2020. I created Character Designs and Character Portraits for this project that we incorporated into the story and gameās UI inside the emulator for the Letās Play. Characterās and story are created by Kinu and Rea. This story follows the main character in the game Chisa Inomiko. this story is proudly written by queers with positive representations for the LGBTQIA+ community. Works from EA TSTO under the employment of The Studio of Secret 6 Inc.
Illustrated and conceptualized special event UI Background Elements, Splash Screens, and Game Locations. Includes animation of UI elements and background elements.
Creative Concepts: 2018 Holiday Mystery Box UI Mystery Box designed for the general holidays in December. Involving iconic holiday staples and a luscious table spread. Holiday boxes are animated items that contain special seasonal event prizes.Ā
Creative Concepts: Ballot Box Mystery Box UI Mystery Box designed for the special event of the elections in game. Really representing the true American spirit with red blue and white. With a few references in lore.Ā
Creative Concepts: Childrarium Ā
A Museum for children to play in. Based off an existing playground asset and new postmodern architecture. The focus of this asset was to create an interesting silhouette that was playful and fun. Initially, the colors were blocked based off the playgroundās design but later was asked to change into a Greco Roman Color Scheme.
Creative Concepts: Blocko Angela Dungeon
Parody Lego Harry Potter. It was required that the Cauldron was designed in order to have animated assets fly into it. A lot of the pieces in this design were based on the actual potions classroom in Harry Potter and real lego pieces.
Creative Concepts: Vamp House
This was a Parody of Lady and the Tramp the house was Southern Victorian-inspired. We didnāt have a very clear reference in the show so this based them off popular historical plantation houses. The Dog silouhette will have to animate between the houses and smoke needs to come out of the chimneys.
Creative Concepts: E3 Convention Center
Based off the Los Angeles Convention Center where E3 is held every year. There needed to be a simplified version of the convention center with smaller extension buildings on the side as specified by the client.
ART DIRECTION AND ANIMATION: Seattleās Best Philippines: Sharing Joy One Cup at A Time
Completely conceptualized and self-produced an animation from Pre Production to Post Production this 30 second commercial for Seattle's Best Philippines. The theme given is Sharing Joy One Cup at a Time to promote their new line of drinks for Christmas 2017. The aim of this project was to feature Seattleās Bestās roster of drinks for Christmas. The concept came about promoting the moments we share during the holidays for all different kinds of people.Ā Iām a big fan of the continuous shot and visual transitions relays from other indie animations I watch. I feel it creates an immersive experience. This animation was created with Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects.

TRAP LABS: ART DIRECTION
Trap Labs is a 2D platform game based off Bound. This started as a 2 person project between Han who is the main programmer and proprietor of the game and myself as the Creative Director and artist, He wanted to create a game with an art style tribute to Butch Hartman's Fairly Odd parents. With my history of work in animation and game development, having a flexible art style and adaptability was a big advantage. I'd had senior game art positions where I supervised art style and work flow in Tose Software but this was the first time I'd be creating a game from scratch. There was a big facelift with the project in general as initial Alphas of the game had art created by a different approach. We wanted to optimize the game art so that we could have a lot of reuseable assets with the least volume. Initially we had a Adobe Illustrator exported to Adobe Animate workflow to have the correct stylization down.
I created the Character Designs, Brand Identity, and the Color scheming for the levels. As well as ideas for props, UI, and other things on top of animating the assets myself. One of the biggest importances to me in terms of art has color theory come into play. With each succeeding level as you go up the tower you're met with different color changes per cluster of the levels. I took inspiration from many popular cartoons as a reference to the color shifts. But what's important is that they were color blocked cohesively.
UI Design and Illustration was important to emulate the fun cartoony style of the game based of Butch Hartman's series. But it also needed to be optimized for viewing on both computer screens and mobile gaming as this is a cross-platform accessible game as well. We wanted to make sure the design was responsive and translated well on different screen sizes.
A really big note with took of is the aesthetic of Asymmetry particular to Fairly Odd Parents and Butch Hartmen's art style that we wanted to translate for our own game. The tile sets and different elements we created in particular we wanted to get the maximum use out of so we wouldn't get rigid repetitive tile sets. And when you rotate them they become different patterns.
