Temporary.
I came across this post saying, “When silence is the only answer, it’s over” and someone asked “what if it’s only temporarily?” .......
I say, FUCK THAT. If someone wants to “temporarily” give you silence, then you go ahead and make it permanent. You don’t deserve that. You aren’t temporary, so don’t let anyone come and go as they please. Because remember, if your absence doesn’t affect them, your presence never mattered to them. So they shouldn’t matter to you either. You deserve a better love. You deserve to be a priority.

I just think it’s funny how..
Whenever I take the initiative to hit someone up who hasn’t been in contact wants to say “I’ve been busy”. I get it, we all have things to do than to look down at our phone constantly. But these are the same people who post on social media daily. It’s clear where I stand, it’s cool. I just don’t understand why these people have the audacity to come crawling back into my life when I finally decide to drop them because I obviously didn’t matter to them. Don’t come back into my life when I dip, because you didn’t cherish me when I was trying to be in yours. Nigga peace, I’m gawn.

How your partner reacts to your sadness and things that bother you, should tell you all you need to know about how long the relationship should last.

There’s a special place in my heart for the ones who were with me at my lowest and still loved me when I wasn’t very loveable.
Yasmin Mogahed (via wordsnquotes)
Heartache is good. Accept it joyously. Allow it, don’t repress it. The natural tendency of the mind is to repress anything that is painful. By repressing it you will destroy something that is growing. The heart is meant to be broken. It’s purpose is to melt into tears and and evaporate. When the heart has evaporated exactly in the same place where the heart was, you come to know the deeper heart.

Every King needs a Queen to hold it down for him. I used to think like a princess, but now I want to be a Queen. 👑✨
Seventy-five years. That’s how much time you get if you’re lucky. Seventy-five years. Seventy-five Winters. Seventy-five Springtimes. Seventy-five Summers. And Seventy-five Autumns. When you look at it like that, it’s not a lot of time, is it? Don’t waste them. Get your head out of the rat race and forget about the superficial things that pre-occupy your existence and get back to what’s important now. Right Now. This very second. And I’m not saying, drop everything and let the world come to a grinding halt. I’m saying that you could become a seeker. You could be loving more. You could be taking some chances. You could be living more. You could be spending more time with your family. You could be getting in touch with the part of you that lives instead of fears; the part of you that loves instead of hates; the part of you that recognizes the humanity in all of us. And I tell you, That’s where you’re fortunate.
