Because he went above and beyond, even singing songs that weren’t written for him to sing to begin with, and he just straight-up did an INCREDIBLE job at the concert. What range, what stamina, what talent.

can you imagine how radiant young viktor must’ve been??? like i’m not saying he’s not radiant now but this determined ball of excitement and ambition, training his quad flip to perfection because he won’t have it any other way, revolving his day and night around skating because he genuinely loves it and can’t bear to be separated from the ice, meeting makkachin for the first time(!!!), spending his free time finishing the newest harry potter book in one sitting with makka curled up around his legs, keeping a bullet journal where he meticulously plans his programs and tracks his progress on elements he’s working on wow basically i stan 1 (one) enthusiastic boy

Highlights from YURI!!! On CONCERT

The adorable passionate dance of literally everyone at Seung-gil’s Almavivo short program (one guy who I think was the conductor was so into it he took his jacket off and threw it into the audience this is what we, as gays, deserve)

the singer of Chris‘ Intoxicated short program with all his glorious gay extraness (like he was wearing sunglasses in a dark concert hall this is amazing, true Icon, 29837/10)

the singer of A Tale Of A Sleeping Prince from Georgi’s program because?? Cute?? AND talented??

the dudes from Still alive from Leo’s program because they were really good and the rapping too and wow

the singer from Shall We Skate was so fucking good like what the fuck I want to skate now thank you

no matter what happens in this movie, we know how the story ends.

it ends with victor and yuuri meeting each other, and falling in love, and getting engaged, and loving and trusting and supporting each other, and spending the rest of their lives together. 

however sad victor’s backstory may be, whatever loneliness he had to endure in his adolescence, we know there’s a drunk boy in a ballroom waiting for him a few years down the line who is going to bring him so much happiness and joy and life and love.

and we get to see the road that lead him to the ballroom and man. i am just so excited.
