I highly recommend the youtube channel Fascinating Horror. It sounds ghoulish but it's actually very respectful and could more accurately be titled "Regulations and Why We Have Them - Hint: People Died, Generally Due to Corporate Greed." It is fascinating. And important to remember.

I really hope that we all learned that we shouldn’t be televising civil suits. Or criminal tbh, but especially civil. Social media turned it into a circus and sides when it should have never been about that. While I enjoyed learning from watching the lawyers on each side, the public just turned serious things into memes and jokes and a fight of womenv.men when it /wasn’t/. The public doesn’t understand law, nor should they be expected to, but they certainly don’t know enough to watch a televised trial and actually comprehend what is being said and done.

In the end I just hope there’s an end to televised suits especially when dealing with celebrities. I’m glad for the truth to come out, but it doesn’t need to be televised in order for thst to happen

I can't believe how stupid her fans and media are.

She didn't lose because she spoke up against her abuser. She lost because it was defamation. Defamation which means SHE LIED. She made it ALL up. THAT'S what the jury decided on. She was/is the abuser, you're all just too fucking dumb to accept it.

Also to be clear it was found that Amber lied. That’s why Johnny won his claims.

The ONE statement that Amber won was when Depps former lawyer said she and her friends messed the apartment up to make it look like Johnny went on a rampage. That was found to be a lie. The rest of the claims, thst Amber was lying and the Johnny did not abuse her, we’re found to be truthful.

The other case in the UK was against the Sun. They did not find depp or heard guilty of abuse. They just found that the sun did not defame Johnny. The judge was not finding if Johnny abused Amber or if Amber abused Johnny. It was just about if the sun was purposefully lying about depp. That’s it.

This case does not set a precedent. That precedent already existed. You cannot make false statements with intention of malice, whether you name the person or not, and especially if it’s been implied and later confirmed by yourself that it’s written abt a certain person. That’s defamation.

Furthermore, yes, if you get caught perjuring yourself MULTIPLE time on stand then yes, you’ve screwed yourself.
