Rated 3.75 on fable solely due to lack of much of any real answers I was hoping for that I had from the last book.
Now I just have so many more???
WILD ending. Happy for the next regardless.

Lazy Sunday 😴
Starting this now and I'm super excited! Lfgggggggg
I really appreciated how thoughtful this book felt when approaching the "newness" stage of mourning - when it's been some time, but not nearly enough time at all.
Nora is processing grief in such a genuine and realistic way. She is the heart and soul of this story, and this really is such a character piece with a hard focus on the thoughts that spiral where grief and love parallel each other in such a way - a deep papercut sort of desperation.
The way this book reads is not for everyone. It's mostly conversations and introspection and I can see how a lot of people, unfamiliar with what Nora is experiencing, would be annoyed by her internal dialogue.
For me - I found it deeply cathartic.
Just bear thoughts.

I wanted the movie to test the capabilities of every single craft in moviemaking. There are huge sets, huge props, complex wardrobe. I wanted it to feel like an old movie that was made in the heyday of Hollywood. Luscious, and beautiful, and operatic and all that. [...] 'cause I didn't want the audiance to go, "Oh, it's digital," because once you introduce that, it's like a license for people not to believe things. [...] If you do it for real, people have a sense.

I read her and I hated her! 🥹
I found myself going *yeesh* a lot in this book.
Sometimes smutty reads can catch a lot of flack and their plots go unmentioned due to the spice existing.
This is not one of those times. There is no plot. This was simply unenjoyable for me. And MMCs name was Ryat?
Also are this chicks lips ok? She keeps licking them how are they not chapped to hell someone check in on her
