once upon a time;

Stripped away from their perfect fairytale land that contained everything they knew , magic, the enchanted forest, and wishing wells…  in the midst of her rage the Evil Queen cast a curse and here they were in Storybrooke Maine. Portals were opened and realms unravelled to lead them to this quaint town, minds were wiped and new lives were formed, but what happens when the saviour arrives in town?

things to know;

It may kind of help if you’re familiar with the once upon a time plot, all I’m doing is skipping it back to season one and starting over (adding more characters than before though, some people who may be from different worlds or don’t show up in Storybrooke until a little while later - just to make it interesting, I’m putting them in now), letting that play out for a while, breaking the curse so everyone’s back in the know of the reality of things and such, to keep things fresh and busy and active. As for pairings they will be as in the show (eg. Snow White and Prince Charming, Evil Queen and Robin Hood, Rumpelstiltskin and Belle), so bare that in mind when picking your character. This verse is open The Originals characters only at the moment, I may open it up to The Vampire Diaries characters in the future depending on how everything goes.

rules;

You must be active as that’s pretty much crucial for a verse to survive. I ask that you post at least once a week if possible and if you can’t do that or go on a hiatus please let me know or post it in the tag or something. That being said, the tracking tag will be wtsau. Bios aren’t required, as all you need to know about your characters can be found here. In Storybrooke your character can be addressed as your TO characters name, but however in an event they end up back in their fairytale land they need to be addressed as their fictional name. Once Upon a Dream

It would be the con of the century. Elijah was sure of that. Completely and utterly sure. There was no denying that. The ploy itself held deeper meaning to him, one that his brother Klaus was now attempting to exploit as they roamed the halls of the once majestic palace. They had been children. She was only eight years old, and Elijah had helped her escape. Yet for years, he had been convinced that he had failed the Grand Duchess, that the young girl had fallen to her demise following her departure. And yet now, here her grandmother was, offering an insane amount of money for her safe return, and all Klaus could speak of now was finding a girl who could pull it off. Elijah insisted that there would be many people bringing forth imposters, that they would never full the duchess. Nonetheless, his brother had insisted, refusing to let go of it. They needed the money. They needed it, and if they were able to acquire it, they would never have to pull another job again. Not many con men were able to retire. They had a shot, so he agreed. 

Yet finding a girl who mirrored the lost girl, who showed great resemblance to the photo composites plastered across the city, was proving difficult. Or impossible. Desperation had set in for Klaus on day two, but Elijah remained calm. He left his little brother in the study to scream and shout over lack of progress while he descended the stairs into the den, pushing out of the front door and lighting his pipe as he went along. It was a comfortably cool day, and a soft smile played at his lips as he inhaled. He nearly choked however when a series of high-pitched barks met his ears followed by a flash of white rushing around his legs. He stumbled back, gaining his balance before looking down to find a small dog barking at him before it sat and yelped, tilting its head in curiosity. Elijah rose a brow as he stuffed his pipe away and picked up the animal gingerly. “Hey there, fella. Can I help you?” He descended the steps after a moment, looking around the space before a flash of chestnut caught his eye, and unfamiliar head of hair. “Excuse me?” he called out. “Excuse me! Miss! Does - he belong to you!”

Growing up and working in an orphanage wa something far from the life she had anticipated for herself. In fact the majority of her childhood seemed to be blur. Now her life was made  helping the other children and running the orphanage. She had been sent out to grab supplies, but her  journey had seemed to take another turning as she was led a different way by a stay in which she decided to keep. "Ah- yes!" Katy said crouching down to take the dog into her arms, "Pooka." She chastised, "No barking at strangers, its not nice." She scolded, before finally turning to face the man that had called out to her, "Sorry, he's a little... restless today. Uhmm... actually  do you happen to know a Dimitri? I'm kind of looking for him." She looked up and down the street for a few moments, "I was told to find him." Katy nodded another time before looking upon the man in confusion. "Why are staring at me like that? Didn't your mother ever teach you that staring is rude?" She raised her brow as Pooka began to snarl, though this time she let his unruly behaviour slide, after all the guy had been eyeing her up. She wasn't used to this side of town at all and her main goal was to somehow make a train to Paris in order to find her estranged family in which she knew so little about. "What is it? Stop that!" She frowned, getting ready to turn on her heel.

Elijah smiled at the

                                                younger woman, obviously                                                           surprised at his sudden                                                                 appearance.                                   “Do you wish for me to move away, dear?”

                   [ Shaking her head tentatively                        they had met a few times,                                  she worked for their familys house,                                    only leaving a few months prior,                                      she curtsied and bowed her head politely- ]

                         ”No, not at all. I..I...Is there something you require my assistance with?”

Bonnie was reading a book. It was particularly smutty and she would be the first to admit that’s why she put a black book cover on it. Then she squinted at a certain…measurement and remembered a the length of ten inches was about the length of her forearm and two inches longer. She grimaced and had to shut it. “That would hurt…” She didn’t realize someone was behind her.

"Oh, sorry!" Katerina stammered as the young woman before her turned to look upon her. "I didn't mean to intrude, it's just a feature doesn't have to be large to be pleasurable, besides I've always been a lot more interested with what a man can do with his tongue rather than his... well" She blushed, "Don't you agree?"

"It has indeed. Far too long and I imagine after this, it will be far too long before we see one another again after this." Elijah smiled. It seemed so easy to speak to her even after all this time. "I’m glad. It isn’t the easiest thing in the world. Adjusting to this life, but it is far better than the alternative." Elijah nodded. "It is, and I am sorry for how he behaved. I don’t think he has reached the point where he is sorry yet, but he’s getting there."

Elijah ran his hand through his hair. “Thank you, I would have never thought it back then but I’ve grown to like it.” Elijah looked insulted that she saw him that way. “I do not. I dress nicely because image is important.” It was true enough. He used his image to overshadow the less than stellar images presented by his siblings. 

"I have been good, really, really good. This city is wonderful. I’ve grown rather fond of it."

"I had to see you." Katerina mumbled gently enough so that he could hear. "I almost didn't believe the whispers when they had said your family resided here, but you were kind to me, you helped me and taught me things I could have never imagined, simply through the example of your life. I wanted to thank you." She took a step closer to him and trapped her bottom lip between her teeth, "Theres a little abandoned house just on the outskirts of town that I've been staying in, it's hideous and pink on the outside" She laughed, "There's another reason why I'm here Elijah... Uhm... witches, I think some witches used to live there I found pictures and sketchings of you, your family even a babe. There were herbs and stones, powder, relics, spells and such, a woman came last night in order to retrieve her things and I handled the situation..." Pulling her satchel, around she opened it, "Here you, you rarely talked of your mother, but theres only one 'E. Mikaelson' I knew and knowing you can't possibly do spells yourself, I thought that maybe you would want this back... someone was trying to harness your powers, use them against you and they somehow have things from your mothers grimoire. Maybe some extra protection is in order but uhm... I know you can handle yourself but It was nice to see you, healthy, alive, safe."

"I leave tonight, but if you'd like to get in touch heres my number... details etcetera." She smiled taking his hand and kissing it lightly, then pulling on her skirt as she curtsied before him, "Alway a pleasure, My Lord, always." and with that she made a beeline out of view.

muse a was a soldier - he defended the country, he trained incoming boys and girls to fight like men; taught them to fight with brutality and relentless force. muse b was a gentle spirit - a kindergarten teacher by day and a piano instructor on the weekends; she was the very image of grace and tenderness. when muse a was badly injured in a bombing at the front lines, he returns home to find a requirement that he partake in piano lessons, which will help with both is mental acuity and hand-eye coordination. Resentful at first, he attends lessons grudgingly, but there’s something about this piano teacher - there’s something about this woman that rattles his steel heart.

This is really random but this is my new kitty kat. My dad has gotten worse and has to have major heart surgery and so I’ve decided to keep his cat for myself. Now she’s been in our family for around two years, but in this time my dad hasn’t really gotten her insured or registered at a vet or anything - which I plan to do, but unfortunately I know very little about her for me to take care of her properly and sign up for those things. I’m just asking for you to REBLOG this and if anyone can identify her breed for me would help me bundles. P.S - Her name is Aimee :D and she’s a cutie patootie.

Elijah laughed. “Well I must say you have gotten the short end of the straw. Mens’ garments have become less opulent then they were but for the most part they have stayed the same otherwise.” he glanced down. “It’s expected. My family rules this city and sometimes there are people who feel they cannot meet with us publicly. It is part of our duty to accept those meetings.”

Elijah smiled. “No thanks required my lady.” he bowed back. “The transition is hard on everyone. If I were not so set in my ways I would have ended this existence long ago. It really can be quite lonely. I have my family though…” Elijah trailed off. “I have been well. Niklaus is beginning to grow more stable. If you can imagine that. How about you? How have you been?”

"It's long overdue My Lord." She smiled, "I have been good, life - ah, the after life has treated me somewhat well, and yes things were hard a first but I adjusted and I think after 200 years I'm finally getting the hang of things." She bit her lip, "It's great news about your brother also, I always hoped he found some sort of redemption... in order for me to move on I had to just... forgive him eventually." "It shapes your face" She commented aloud, "Your hair - mean, having it thi short, it suits you. I couldn't hell but think that was the only thing you took pride in, your lookin in order to hide what was on the inside, because you were always too busy looking after your siblings to look after yourself but none of it mattered as long as you looked okay." She whispered, giving him a knowing look-                      "So really, tell me Elijah, how have you been?"

"I was going to find you, but when you left, Niklaus became lost in one of his fits. I couldn’t leave him. If I did I was afraid he would hunt you to the ends of earth. Hunt you until your blood was on his hands." Elijah explained. His brother was inconsolable until they found another doppelganger who had been in hiding. One who had wanted to die. "I’ve lived here with Niklaus and Rebekah for the past few months. We’re trying to rebuild the city as it was when we first came here two hundred years ago."

Elijah smiled. “I’m sure. I’ve had to adjust to my baby sister wearing pants and dressing up in what would have been undergarments when we first met. I can’t imagine you are all that different in that regard. After all lacing up corsets is not the most comfortable experience no matter how it shapes you.” Elijah nodded. “I believe they’ve treated you better than you let on as well.”

"I understand" he repeated, though it was more of a promise. "It may sound a little silly but I missed those horribly uncomfortable things, I'd gladly put a corset one over those uhh- I believe they're called booty shorts." She giggled, "I didn't think you'd come, I worried you see... an anonymous call to meet somewhere I thought that maybe you wouldn't show, though I'm glad you did."

"I did my best" She bowed almost humbly in reverence to him, "In all honesty My Lord I wanted to thank you." She spoke softer now, "You gave me a chance and I took it, you saved me, though turned was one of the hardest decisions I ever made...going through that transition alone, was harder, morseso... But thank you." She smiled, watching him, "How have you... How have you been?"

"Katerina?! You can’t be here. Why did you call me here?" Elijah exclaimed. calming now as he sensed her distress. He unconsciously leaned into her touch. "It… I cut it off. It…I… no longer fit in with the times. That was two hundred years ago."

"I know, I uh-" She paused for a moment taking a step back and regaining her distance. "You said you'd find me but it seems I was the one who did the searching - No it's okay, I understand, I just... It's really you." She gasped as if it only sunk in. "I heard talks of you in the town, and I didn't believe it... I had to see you if not once, Elijah." She laughed a little, but it was bittersweet, through tear filled eyes. "I've had a little changing to do over the years also. It seems awfully improper, over the years I've wore nothing but lesser and less garments. However it seems the years have treated you kind."

It was night, and Damon’s car had decided to die in the middle of nowhere and he hadn’t been in the mood to wait out in the cold for a tow truck that would have taken hours, so there he was, walking back home by himself. It was only after a few minutes that he realized that someone else was walking not far behind him. He didn’t think much of it, until he realized they were taking all the same turns he did. After a few paces, he turned around, frowning. “Are you following me?”

She hadn't been following him, it was merely the fact that they had ended up in the same place at the same time. She stopped as he turned offering him a sly smirk before she tilted her head to the side, looking  him up and down. "Why?" She raised a brow, "Scared?" She wondered, "God you're losing your touch."
