Everyone has a different understanding of Gurbani, everyone interprets the literal meaning based on given intellect, circumstances, emotions, love and understanding..

And to brighten that understanding and strengthen the connection with Waheguru, we are given Nitnem too..

It takes time to learn..

We should learn daily and try to get better with each passing day..

Your learning curve might not be steep but it should be steady ...

Ek Onkar, Waheguru cannot be described but everyone describes him according to their understanding..

Some who have not had the pleasure to experience God, say he doesn't exist and some who witness his greatness say there is no one else except him ..

Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji says,

" Kathna Kathi Na Aawe Tott "

If you start to talk about Waheguru, you'll never reach the end, because there isn't an end to him or his creations !

So, If you can sing about him & his greatness..

By all means do it !

This is your chance to connect to him...

Do it for yourself and Waheguru and the connection between you two !

Make Waheguru's Gurbani your teacher, your mind a school and be his disciple ...

& try to imbibe the priceless lessons to be teachers favourite ;)

Even while you are not competing with anyone else !

A finite being can never understand the infinite,

Waheguru's hands hold all the blessings, magic and more ...

If you are protected by his hands, your enemies (Inside out) stand no chance to stand !

And when the vices fade, slowly from our mind eradicate..

We make space for his Naam 🙏

Chaupai Sahib written by the greatest Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj,

Obviously he asks for him and his Naam ..

May we too keep asking for Naam and keep it on top of our list, when praying to Waheguru 🙏

If are not hungry, you are not well..

May we stay healthy and hungry for the soul food, of Naam ..

The thirt of Naam, removes all others and satisfies a wandering mind ...

And only a satisfied mind is pleased to be in the sanctuary of ONE, accepts ONE and slowly knows ONE...

Otherwise we keep wandering searching for more, more spiritual teachers, more and more self proclaimed Gods and Guru's, someone who will reveal the truth to us... While the truth is right infront of you..

We are temporary pieces of the eternal ONE,

Here in his hukam,

To find our path back to him,

Merge back in him with his kirpa,

Through his Naam ...

May we be protected by our creator on our journey written by his command ...

We fold our hands in prayer and surrender to Waheguru,

And Waheguru raises his hands for us, we are saved ...

Waheguru's hand's are comfort for his disciples and dreadful for the wrong doers ..

Waheguru's hand's are the most powerful magicians, masters, magnificent, majestic and mighty ..

I pray for protection from your powerful hands for me and my family,

I pray my family consists of people who are yours, your servants, your disciples, your students who believe in you and only you...

I pray for peace and calm that is found in your sanctuary ❤️

" Please destroy the evils I face inside out,

May I sing your praises through out,

Your mercy will save me,I have no doubt 💕

But give me the company of holy saints,

So I can become their servant and make you proud "

What else can you ask for, if you get this ?!?

You are being saved by the grace of the hands that created you ❤️

My Guru asked for this and taught me this !

That be his !

Belong to Waheguru,

Ask from Waheguru,

Ask for Waheguru ...

' if I am Waheguru's and Waheguru is mine

There is no way I can't shine

If he dwells in my mind, then my thoughts be pristine

Waheguru's order is divine

Guru Nanak Dev ji,

Always knew the answers to questions we ask even today !?!

He gave three pillars to the mansion of Sikhism,

Not one !

If only Naam Japna guaranteed liberation, then that would have been enough...

But Naam Japna without honest living, without a kind heart is not the way ..

It will pave the way, but to walk on that way you need love and wisdom..

Naap Jaapo : Meditating Chanting Worshiping with love & devotion - Requires your effort and his immense kirpa .. no falsehood with the ultimate truth, pure love only

Kirat karo : honestly earning a living - requires dignity, righteousness, no gossiping or hate or jealousy with others, focusing on self survival and betterment

Vand Chhako : Sharing without ego - requires love, kindness, selflessness, modesty, focusing on larger welfare for all

If any of these is missing, it is not a holistic approach to life and Waheguru ji...

People who are always doing Naam Jap but are unkind to less fortunate have lost the path..

And people who are immensely nice but don't worship the supreme reality are also misguided..

Dhan Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, epitome of every quality known to human kind ..

Sent gold to war victims families for survival...

War for righteousness was always accompanied by righteous acts..

He taught us the meaning of life and Sikh teachings !

Sharing can be kind gestures and sweet words too, if from the heart and true 🙏

Even if I claim to know Waheguru, I don't know Waheguru !

Even If I know Waheguru, I'll be so mesmerized by his greatness that I can't speak about him !

And anyways, where there is 'I', Guru Nanak Dev Ji says, there is no him..

So, All knowing but modest Guru Nanak Dev Sahib ji says..

Let there be mention of 'I' only when there is mention of you & your worship.. That too is your grace !

After trying to understand Waheguru, Waheguru has made me understand that ..

All creatures are his & I am also his creation,

And hence may I never forget my source/Mool ..

" Sab vich jo vasda hai, oh mere v andar hai..

Par ohdi gehrayi kinni, mein das nhi sakda, oh gunna da samundar hai..

Visre na oh meinu, eh ardaas hoye,

Sabna jeeya da jo daata, mera v oh khaas hoye,

Oh hee samajhanda hai, oh hee naam japaunda hai,

Mere gunah baksh k, oh meinu har vaar pher uthaunda hai,

One is the trio of creator (Karta), sustainer (Saibhang) and destroyer (only the without death/end can know the end of others - Akaal).

The creator, the creativity, the creation

Are not separate but one relation

Even in another universe, He is the same

One infinity in One's game !

After knowing whom to follow and why to follow and how to follow,

The one who follows is a Gurmukh !

The one who knows the celestial sound of the celestial being,

The one who has the knowledge of all streams through one supreme being,

Yet detached from all gleams,

Absorbed in the tune of ONE supreme !

He knows and he is a part of the creator, his creation and his power !

Naad (ever resonating celestial sound) is Waheguru, Ved (knowledge of everything, everyone & eternity) is Waheguru..

And an Ang (part) of Waheguru is his follower ( Gurmukh )

Dukh Parhar Sukh Ghar Le jaye "

Sing his praises, listen to his words, love him ...

But why ? Why Naam ?

When I am in pain and he is the source of everything and therefore my pain is also because of him !

Because your pain is because of your past actions.. which you may not remember but your soul does..

So to break the cycle of suffering for your soul,

Naam jaap of the remover of the sufferings..

You are the cause of your suffering,

He is the source of your comfort ..

The body is the home for the soul 💓

And if you praise with your tongue, you'll love Waheguru with your soul

And if you love Waheguru, you'll automatically pray to him, praise him, sing about his greatness and listen to him ❤️

It is vice-versa ..

Anything you do to your residence home will affect the resident soul !

And anything good you do, you think, you speak with your soul, will bring happiness in your home, rid you of your suffering !

So Naam for the body and soul !

To remove the Dukh (Suffering) of past and present and for a healthy future ❤️🙏🏻

To Guru Nanak he revealed,

To us Guru Nanak tells,

Naam is the ultimate Jewel ..

The one you can carry in the next World !
