Whirlwind Romance is a story that covers middle school romance and loss in a reimagination of the “Hello Neighbor” series of books.
Read the story of Nicky Roth, an inauspicious man that finds himself stuck with his traumatic past while having to deal with daily challenges of being an adult in the present. Seeking advice, Nicky attends weekly therapy sessions that soon show to be mostly fruitless.
But fate doesn’t turn its back to him. When all seems worst, Nicky starts to practice the activity of writing his own emotions, rather than directly expressing them. He reluctantly complies, and soon each page of an ordinary notebook contains extraordinary recollections of a failed past.
And so—with each entry—Nicky connects the pieces back together and gradually learns how to move on.
Or does he?

Story written entirely by one person. You can tell I had fun finding and picking those excerpts from the original book. It will all come sooner than you think...
Happy holidays!
