you're reading Beastars so please give me your top 5 moments

Hey! Yeah, Beastars is, like, my best find of year 2019 (@ thank to one of my best friends for giving me the first volume as a present on my birthday last year. He also bought me the first volume of Witch Hat Atelier, which is like my second best find of year 2019; man, this dude has great tastes xD).

I advise everyone to read it: it’s funny but also dark & complex, with incredibly written characters and one hell of a worldbuilding. Top 5 so far would be (spoilers!! and in no particular order):

when the series’ title finally gets to be in the spot lights of the main plot

when having a criminal record is okay, except for this one point

sad af backstory T_T (it really moved me a lot, I really love the Hybrids’ arc with Melon as a result)

when you don’t envision your future to fit with society’s expectations and it’s okay

Or

when life is complicated but you’ve got friends so it all works out

Beastars chapter 194 review

It was basically Louis’ and Juno’s date. I loved her expressions. I totally forgot that Louis has fiancee and it’s kinda sad he kept comparing Juno to her for the whole date. Like I know he prefers Juno but still. I kinda hoped he’ll ditch his cold fiancee.

Here Juno is all exited and Louis just thinks how hard to read is his fiancee. This woman told him she loves his company. Romance gold.

And then he didn’t. It was interesting that Juno knew she couldn’t really be in relationship with Louis so she at least decided to plague his thoughts. “Remember every single one of my fangs” XD I don’t know what to think about the ending of the chapter. They rode the train until it got dark, never started en actual date, and then Juno left the train, leaving Louis with visions of her teeth.

Other than that I really like that Louis went to see Shishigumi in jail and how happy the lions were. I think Louis wants to hire them and others in similar situation in the future. He want’s Horns Conglomerate to get bigger so he can hire more people.

I don’t have much to say about this chapter. It looked good.

I do have a question actually! What did you think of the latest Louis and Juno chapter? Because that shit hurted. It left me feeling disapointed too.

Honestly, it is what we could expect. The world of Beastars is not perfect, far from it.

My favorite chapter of Beast Complex(Beastars prequal series) is the third where a camel is dating a wolf. Sure, they love each other, but it just won’t work.

Its a little of the same here. Louis is madly in love with Juno, but the way he has decided to live his life sadly doesn’t include her. He is marrying Azuki for the sake of business since he has decided that the best way he can try and make the world a better place is by running the Horns Conglomerate. And one of the ways to run it as successful as possible is by marrying not just another deer but one who is the daughter of a CEO the HC does business with. Also, herbivore/carnivore romance is a hot mess, something Louis has stated before that he does not want to drag Juno into.

Juno gets that... but she can still leave him a little souvenir...
