Bubbles was the best. 🐾🩷

My little diva, my sweet girl, my forever puppy. She loved her mommy so much, and I will miss that love more than words can explain.

14 years together. 14 years of watching her grow from a tiny puppy into a beautiful senior lady. She showed me every stage of a dog’s life, and every stage was special because she was there.

She was such a little diva after getting her nails trimmed. I would always ask her, who got her nails did? And she would lift her little paw up and show me her nails like she was saying, look mommy, aren’t they pretty? 😂💅 She knew she looked good and she wanted everyone to know.

Bubbles was more than a puppy. She was my little cheerleader. When I cried, she was always there to comfort me and kiss my tears away. She had a way of making the hardest moments feel a little lighter.

Life feels so different without her here. The house feels quieter, and my heart feels heavy. But I am so thankful God gave me 14 beautiful years with my little girl.

Bubbles, thank you for all the love, the cuddles, the funny little moments, and the memories that I will carry forever. You were my best puppy ever, and I will always love you. 🩷🐾

Bubbles 🐾💕🫧

Today something happened that made me stop what I was doing.

I was sweeping the floor, trying to stay busy and keep moving forward. The sweeping wasn't even finished. A verse kept coming to mind over and over again. Finally, I stopped and looked it up.

Daniel 4:5

I saw a dream and it made me fearful; and these fantasies as I lay on my bed and the visions in my head kept alarming me.

A king had a dream that troubled him and left him afraid.

As soon as I read the verse, I broke into prayer.

After praying, I read the meaning behind the verse, and everything hit me at once.

The crazy part is that before Bubbles was attacked, I had a dream that my finger was bitten. Then everything happened so fast. One moment Bubbles was here. The next moment I was faced with one of the hardest decisions a pet parent can make.

A veterinarian by the name of Sarah Hoggan, once said that euthanasia means good death. At first, those words were difficult to process. Now I understand. Bubbles was able to leave peacefully and gently instead of enduring more pain.

I have cried more than I can put into words.

Fourteen years is a long time. Fourteen years of memories, routines, laughter, cuddles, little diva moments, and a love that became part of everyday life. Bubbles wasn't just a dog. Bubbles was family.

Looking back, I feel like God has been trying to get my attention.

Not through noise.

Not through long explanations.

Not through constant activity.

Through stillness.

For a long time I felt like I needed words for everything. Today I realized that maybe I don't.

Maybe grief doesn't always need a speech.

Maybe tears can be a prayer.

Maybe sitting quietly before the Lord can say more than a thousand words ever could.

The verse that interrupted my sweeping wasn't a verse about having answers. Daniel 4:5 was about someone who was troubled and afraid. A king who had everything and still found himself shaken.

That verse found me right where I am.

So tonight I am choosing to be still before the Lord.

No striving.

No forcing answers.

No trying to understand every detail.

Just trust.

God sees every tear.

God sees every memory.

God sees every moment I miss my little girl.

Bubbles, thank you for fourteen beautiful years.

Thank you for every laugh, every cuddle, every adventure, every diva moment, and every memory.

You were deeply loved.

You still are.

And you will always be missed.

Today's Prayer ✝️

Father, we thank You that we are not required to understand every detail of what You are doing. You are working in hidden ways we cannot see right now and it will not always make sense to our minds. Help us release the pressure of needing all the answers so frustration does not take root in our hearts. Fill us with the real freedom that comes from simply leaving it all in Your capable hands. Teach us to trust You more deeply each day and rest in Your perfect timing. Amen.
