This means that there was no deep meaning behind Osomatsu’s actions last ep, if ep 25 is to be taken at face value.

Osomatsu simply was mad because Totty didn’t pass him the soy sauce, because Jyuushi made him drop his sushi, because Totty hit him first.

You’re forgetting that we had a few sad osomatsu episodes already, like Chibita’s flower and the episode about Jyushimatsu’s girlfriend.

And even for a gag anime, that was bad. Like, really bad. They could have worked around all the angst that they built up in the previous episode to get back to comedy. Instead, they decided to just. throw everything out of the window and go on like nothing happened.

I’m not saying that it needed to be sad. But they could’ve done way better.
