It's been a minute

So obviously I suck at blogging anymore lol. I used to be great at it back in the early 2000s. Anyways, I'm doing much better post op and getting back into the grind of work and bowling. Fall is finally here and hopefully the weather will help the hot flashes 😜! Working on a new photo project and working on trying to promote myself more for 2017. Im still working on my weight problems as well, I'm just lacking inspiration and that's my problem that I have to work on. Anyways off to do laundry and such. ✌️️

Pathology Results: No Cancer!

The title says it all!! Working onwards to three weeks since the hysterectomy and I'm feeling better by the day. The technician said that I could attempt to go back to working half days for starters to work on my stamina. I need to so I can get more income back in the house once more. Plus I want to get to the gym and work on the bike and treadmill again for starters. I have lost 11lbs so far and I want to keep that going.

Surgery was successful!

Hysterectomy is completed with no complications. Dr. Callahan found the hyperplasia in the uterus but it was removed without having to do anything to the lymph nodes. I did have to undergo a complete abdominal hysterectomy that will cause me to go into medical menopause but I am now PCOS and Cancer Free!!

Surgery has been scheduled!

The doc I saw today was fantastic! After going thru my dilemmas and all the doc said he can schedule my hysterectomy this Friday due to his schedule opening up last minute. I cried and hugged the nurse and now I'm set for my last day at work which is tomorrow (Wednesday), do pre op stuff Thursday and go on a liquid diet, get all my affairs in check and then go in on Friday. I'll be down for 2 months so I will have a lot of free time. Great time to get the wedding project completed while healing.

Sickly week

Can't catch a break. Had a nice weekend but it ended with a terrible chest cold right before our big bowling tournament that starts this Saturday! I took off both Tuesday and Wednesday bc of this cold, still felt like shit but my hubs (who is the boss) informed me that the staff was getting shitty that I wasn't there and it's unfair that I was taking the time off, so I came in. I wasn't pleasant, I did my morning duties painfully bc it's hard to breathe, then dealt with our monthly meeting, my hubs then said thanks for being here this morning, take the pups and go home and rest. Well I got home, slept maybe an hour before the next stream of coughing starting. I can't win!!
