We are the Riverside System. Collective name is River and collective pronouns are they/them (as in multiple people or Default Gender Neutral Pronoun™) and it/its (as in system, collective, group, other nouns describing a group of beings etc). We also use Real Funny Squad as a sort of joke name anyway

We are not new to Tumblr but this is a new account. Our previous collective account got trmed for We Don't Fuckin Know?? And don't gaf about enough to msg Tumblr about it because we were planning to redo the entire main blog anyway but oh well this works too

No DNI but we'll probably block freely if we don't like a blog for whatever reason. Also there likely won't be any disk horse here but we'll see. To know our stance on any disk horse topic you need to pay us 20 doller first (for each stance) (slash joke but we might actually do it cuz funny). Only stance worth mentioning is probably "no one is faking being plural unless they say they are in which case whatever it's literally not our problem" (btw "safe" and "friendly" in our tags doesn't equal stance it's just blog/post descriptor by virtue of having no DNI). (But you can probably guess our stances based on terms we use and blogs we interact with)

Current interest that's got us in a chokehold is forsaken and asymslops (calling things we like slop ironically like we're the I love slop wojak) in general And also just roblox in general. Please give us better taste in things (via brain beams) because we liked a boblox game too much and now John James Shedletsky the Third is inside our brain and doesn't even pay rent smh (btw not a factive of the real guy just a fictive of one of his many fictional adaptations)

We will coin stuff occasionally but only for ourselves, we aren't taking requests (yet. This might change in the future I suppose)

Like so many mothers here, I dreamed of raising my children in peace, giving them love, warmth, and security. But the war has stolen that dream from us time and time again.

Before the war, our life was simple but full of hope. My husband worked whenever he could, and I took care of our home and children. We didn't own anything luxurious, but we had each other.

Then the bombs started falling.

We lost everything.

Our house was reduced to rubble. My children screamed in terror night after night. We fled with nothing but the clothes on our backs—displaced from north to south, moving from tent to tent, always trying to survive day after day.

We stayed in Khan Younis, then Rafah, and now in the central region—each time we escaped death, but not the pain. My children haven't known safety for over a year. My son learned to walk on the dirt floor of a tent.

When the ceasefire was announced, we thought it was finally over. We returned to our devastated neighborhood in northern Gaza, hoping to rebuild it. But the hope was short-lived—the occupation expanded the "yellow zone," and our neighborhood was completely destroyed. Again.

Now, we are displaced again, living in a small tent with no clean water, no food, and no electricity. My husband is unemployed. I have no way to support my children.

I delayed launching this fundraising campaign because I hoped something would change. I didn't want to ask. But today, I have no choice.

I, Yasmin, am asking for your help. Not just for myself—but for my children, who deserve a future. Who deserve warmth, food, and a safe place to sleep.
