Op, i truly appreciate your kindness and respect as to not give this persons details…however, as much as she should not be harassed, she well deserves to have her actions called out, so i wanted to add some more context because this post is absolutely desperately needed.
Hikaru is a bully and she absolutely does not deserve to be a moderator. She will outright bully ANYONE who even dares to simply Have Headcanons or ship something that isnt canon…shes made nasty comments about trans/lgbtq+ headcanons and even made a post on a mod subreddit asking if she could BAN SHIPPING on the subreddit which was absolutely insane!
Shes also allegedly vagueposted about my friends and made other bigoted comments i wasnt even around to see but what i have seen is frankly enough to tell me all about her character, and its just nasty.
in fact, someone actually made a new subreddit, r/FreeTangled, with new rules, and she tried to claim it was interfering with HER subreddit and went against the moderator code of conduct when the only thing the subreddit did was…have different rules and mention that. she was also mostly upset about the fact that it would cause HER subreddit to lose members. she does not care about creating a community for everyone to enjoy, she simply wants power and to make an echo chamber where shes allowed to ban anything simply because she dislikes it. ref. a discussion regarding this and her modding over the subreddit:
The incident with the animator you mentioned above— me and some mutuals actually called her out on this in the tangled discord, and she responded incredibly immaturely, which is actually very common for her to do— shell twist our words and make absurd excuses as to why WE’RE in the wrong, and as soon as shes backed into a corner, she’ll disappear for days and then come back later like nothing happened. when i asked respectfully about that incident, she immediately made some excuse about how i was “breaching her privacy” or something because apparently her making that post on her twitter and not On Discord somehow meant she couldnt be held accountable for it?
despite this, as i mentioned briefly in these screenshots, shes come onto my post and harassed ME simply for posting uknighted dream art claiming that i was “infesting” the new dream tag (which, the only reason i tagged it as new dream was because…uknighted dream also has new dream lol, just cassunzel as well. i usually tag my art with both w the hope that someone who does like both ships may find it and realize theres a community for it! and also under the expectation that if someone doesnt want to see it, they can simply filter out the uknighted dream tag or just scroll past.)
however when i Pointed out the fact that she could just filter that tag, she immediately responded with hostility and outright bullying claiming i “didnt respect the source material” because of my “forced attempt at making chris’ oc equal to eugene”
hikaru is a genuinely mean spirited person who has been an asshole to me and my friends and refuses to take accountability for it, simply throwing a tantrum and running away like a child every time shes confronted. i dont condone harassment in any way but she deserves to have her name attached to her actions because she is a blatantly bigoted and hateful person. she doesnt deserve to be a moderator of anything, she does not care about the community in any way unless they perfectly appeal to her every rule and demand and never step outside the line of what she deems as “correct”. she gives no respect to the community and deserves none in return.
But yeah, if you want a subreddit to discuss tangled thats not run by a bigoted teenage bully in an adults body (and essentially creating a fucking online dictatorship), i fully recommend checking out the r/freetangled subreddit! it was created by someone i also know from the uknighted dream server, so despite not really using reddit i can fully give my approval just on that account 🫡
