sorry i didn’t do much tonight and i’ve been gone for a few days again. gosh i just need to get up to writing but i can’t seem to get my motivation after work. hopefully soon i’ll get back to writing. as for now im going to bed so goodnight!

     not only was cilan surprised when he saw the pokemon transform into a human, but his own pokemon were wide eyed as well. though, cilan just gave a smile as he kept the food held out for the other. 

          “i know what you mean, i can’t say that i’d say no to a good supper either.” he spoke as the pokemon around him were still amazed at the other before them, wondering just how he did that. “though, it’s not everyday you see a transformation like that, you wouldn’t be part ditto, would you?” cilan questioned with a chuckle, thinking he was witty.

     laughter left him when he heard the elder yell out right beside him. sure there were people looking at them funny on the subway, but cilan didn’t care, he was enjoying himself--and that’s what mattered to him.

          “you’re--you’re red aren’t you? from the kanto region?” even all the way out here in unova cilan had heard about the champion. sure he had been traveling with another kid who wanted to become a pokemon master, seeing someone who was a legend was something else.

     alola sure was something. nothing but sunshine and warmth, unova wasn’t all that different, but this was an actual island paradise. he could let loose as he kept pansage on his shoulder like he always had as the both of them walked the beach of one of the islands. 

          “we should get some food soon, what do you think, pansage?” 

          “sage! pansage!” the pokemon agreed with a bright smile on his face as his trainer was already making his way to the city to find something to eat.

The pokemon seemed to give a happy giggle of sorts as she noticed the humans joyful expression that alighted on their face once they spotted her. She did seem pleased regardless. Smiling happily even as she was asked the question, making sure her telepathy could be used as she quite clearly responded.

“No i am not! i do believe my great grandmother latias was from hoenn though. I myself heir from city of the altomare, My brother does to. He’s not here though, he doesn’t like exploring but i do! But do tell, What is that treat you were enjoying called? it’s sweet and i quite like it!”

She asked this, actually very conversational as she floated down lower to look at pansage even as she tilted her head.

“And what are you? altomare doesn’t have anything like you.”

          “!!!! you can talk!” yes, cilan was even more surprised at this information, sure she wasn’t really talking by using her mouth, more so with her mind, but to cilan it was still so amazing that his face was even more amazed if that were even possible. 

          “o-oh! um, this is called ice cream!” he said, holding up the cone for the other to take another taste of as pansage talked to latias in his own language. 

          “my name’s pansage! and i haven’t seen another pokemon like me but in the region we’re from!” to cilan it would just be pansage’s cry, but to latias it would very much be like he was talking.

That arouma was captivating… The smell of food nearly forced the fire type towards this man. He smelt of a chef, but had another smell. Could be the Unovan Pokemon on his shoulder. The dog had plopped himself next to the green haired man, hoping to get at least some scraps.

But once the man had offered a whole macaroon, Astro looked towards the man’s face and tilted his own head. Was this really for him? Slowly, he sniffed the food.

     it would seem as though the pokemon wasn’t going to be harmful at all, this was something that eased cilan a bit more as well as pansage as he was just glad they didn’t have to battle. 

     for now though, cilan kept his hand still for the canine and smiled. 

          “don’t worry, it’s good,” he also made sure to keep it safe for pokemon to eat as well as humans. it was the perfect sweet treat.
