Hello, My Old Friend...
So the last time I wrote anything on here was a little over three years ago. Man, that’s a long time. It’s funny though, because it’s hard to believe that it’s been that long since I lived at my mom’s house. Ironic that I’m currently staying at my mom’s house as I’m typing this...only while she’s away on a trip.
Let’s see...
I get married in 177 days. Ryan and I just celebrated our six year anniversary last month :) We are very much ready to take this next step in our relationship. We lived together for the past two and a half years. Two of those years we were in our own apartment that we rented. As of this past July we moved back in with his parents as we prepare to save for the wedding and our future hopes of buying a house.
At times I have to remind myself of my age. I went from nineteen to twenty six in the blink of an eye. The years go by even quicker as I get older.
I’ve been working full time. I started out working at a high school in a small town, specifically working with social-emotional students that needed a little extra support. Currently, I am in my second year at a middle school working in the special education department.
Every day is a work in progress, but it’s neat to see how far I’ve come.
