I have loved Nancy Drew games since I was a kid. Many years later, I still love these games. Nancy is the dream: smart, driven, sharp, truthful (usually...), empathetic, and brave. Nancy was a role model to me from the first day I read one of those classic Carolyn Keene books. Nancy Drew games give me the opportunity to be someone else: someone who exhibits courage, seeks justice, behaves with integrity, and makes no apologies about her aptitude! I just want all members of the clue crew to get a mysterious invitation to an empty ski lodge, and we can all take off work or school without financial worries, bringing our pets if necessary, and as soon as we all arrive a blizzard hits. We’re all having one huge sleepover in a cozy ski lodge that we have all to ourselves, doing group playthroughs on our laptops and taking turns with doing puzzles other players hate that we don’t mind so much, mugs of cocoa or tea or cider brewed a plenty. And then someone decides to read aloud from the Nancy Drew collection of books found on the built-in shelves and, lo, the selection they make is not a real book, but a secret lever that opens the built-in shelves to a hidden passageway. And so begins uncovering the mystery of who invited us all and our collaboration on the trickiest treasure hunt Nancy Drew fans have ever known.

wade: harper ran away after char died… she ran away for so long we thought she was dead.. her grandfather was so mad he left her gravestone in the cemetery. the tree: harper’s grandfather died the year before charlotte died

Debuting in 1973, The Nancy Drew Cookbook mixed in a dash of mystery with a pinch of thematic recipes. Nearly half of the 111 recipes incorporate part of titles from the first 50 volumes of the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories—including the sinister Double Jinx Salad, the warm and toasty Ski Jump Hot Chocolate, and the mysterious Haunted Showboat Pralines. 25 of the recipes involve places or characters from the series such as Togo Dogs, Mrs. Fayne’s Famous Rice, and Hannah’s Cheese Puffs.
