omg i found the post. this is hilariously funny...
Because actually caring about people from the third world isn't the point, is it? The point is to win arguments with other white people.
first of all the assumption that i'm a white person, which all of these women love to do in conversations with me specifically, for some reason, when she could have clicked on my profile one (1) time to see that i am a black north african (albeit diaspora), and the fact that i've mentioned multiple times that i have been subjected to forced veiling. in 2023 and 2024 i had to watch multiple genocide watches go out about people from my ethnic group because the malian government was working in tandem with russian militias to murder large swathes of civilians as well as azawadi freedom fighters.
But what about "trans women being recognised legally in India"? Oh, you mean the recent amendment to the Trans Act, which defines trans women as either child groomers or self-mutilators? That legal recognition? That's what you're calling a privilege?
she's talking about this post, which was made on january 10th. the indian trans amendment wasn't even introduced until a month after i had made this post (edit: or maybe she's talking about the tags which were also made before the amendment was introduced?). like do you think i'm The Knower or something lmao. i really have a hard time assigning good faith to this, and assuming she just didn't know/check the date, simply because she automatically assigns bad faith to me by assuming the post was written after the bill was introduced (???). i talked about this bill in the tags of this reblog of that very same post.
moreover, there are more countries in the third world than india... not very woke of herrr... see gif above. most notably, there is the country right next to india... pakistan. but the cultural recognition aspect can extend to many different places including central asia or polynesia.
Darn, it's almost like people lie about me without reading a damn word of anything I've written.
i downloaded your book and yes i read degendering and regendering. bet you didn't see that coming talia. lol. just pullin ya chain.
but yeah... i don't understand why she made this post framing it as if i was talking about her when i posted that, because i wasn't. the only thing mentioning her here were like throwaway tags.
it is actually pretty confusing because she goes back and forth between a couple screenshots of my post, then of some tags i have no control over, then to a reblog that i didn't write myself, and still, she uses my paragraph to end this address. i'm not really sure who exactly she is talking to or about, because it bounces around about three different subjects, which led someone in the comments to believe it was all me.
So you'll [...] lie about what trans people from the third world actually believe...
