okay first off, everything about this exchange:
vivian looks so much like she’s leaning in for a kiss there and fig is NOT surprised, like she doesn’t pull back she just keeps talking like i dunno this is a common occurrence or something
as Vivian leaves, she shoots this look over her shoulder and okay Vivian sweetie that’s an invitation in and of itself. Fig like moves forward like she’s ready to take Vivian up on it too
Fig’s face when she sees Vivian for the first time is pure interest (bonus lesbian lean)
Fig’s “someone wants this over in a jiffy” with Vivian’s response of “like most things involving my husband” while looking at fig like she’s going to eat her alive
Fig’s immediate response to that comment and look
fig leaning in the doorway playing with her notebook looking at vivian like this
“tonight. and next wednesday. and the wednesday after that…” could be vivian’s way of saying “lets make this a weekly thing”
also listen, a change of scene may have been written for other purposes but it is so perfectly gay i love everything about it
like meg said, the weird cut between scenes makes it seem like she was back there for way longer. Wilhelmina had time to get ‘drunk’ on a shirley temple like um, Fig, how long were you in that dressing room and what were you doing since the questions were done?
and suddenly after this she knows Vivian’s vocal range?
yeah maybe she is a cultured music lover who can hear it just from Vivian’s song, that’s fair enough, but still this is awfully suspicious
and the cherry on top of it all, Fig’s disgust with this straight nonsense
