Where did everyone go? I guess it’s been years so now I have nothing but one or two people on my feed.

I bought a house while I was gone, in addition to getting those two cute babies. It was the easiest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life, thanks to my parents financial advice all those years.

This isn’t the best picture but it’s the most recent one because I’ve been cleaning up the landscape. Also this is only a progress picture so don’t judge me yet

Since I've been coming back with good news since I "left" my Tumblr.. 2016 has been a wild ride. As my boyfriend and I approach our one year anniversary, I bought myself a house yesterday evening! Crazy how life is going but I love it

Well.. I got a job. I graduated college two years ago in eight days and I have finally earned myself a full time, beneficial job. And I got to quit all three of my jobs today. I honestly never thought I’d reach this goal. It’s finally really setting in as I type this into the tumblr I’ve had since 15. 

I am now the Marketing Director/Graphic Designer of an 100-year-old engineering and architectural firm. Fuck yeah.

Tumblr I’m back with great news for once.

My ‘finding a job post-college’ may have been super shitty the last two years, but this week I’ve gone through two different interviews and have second interviews already.

1. A graphic design position with an engineering firm, that would be my dream. 2. A branding position with a public strategy group whom I’m currently a graphic design intern for, would still be an excellent full-time job.

Since May I’ve been working three jobs, a graphic design freelance, a graphic design internship, and a manager job in food retail in hopes that my hard work would land me a full-time job by the end of the summer. This week I’ve been so down on myself, convinced I was never going to be able to leave this retail job with one very fake/rude boss. Everything works out when it’s supposed to though, with a little positivity and faith. 

Neither have to do with my degree sports, but it’s a great feeling knowing I can almost quit the current retail job I hate. I’m ready for an office, benefits, and great company to grow with. Now I’ve just got to nail these interviews, pray for me!

Easy: Make fire happen less. Make it harder to start. The sooner we see legislation to crack down on fires, the sooner we can have hope for the future again
