I’m trying to make mystic messenger merch (woah I know) for this event coming up in July here in Vegas and I am trying to gauge how much I needa make of each character bc uhhh what I’m making is kinda expensive and there’s seven characters that I’m making… all I know is that 707 is probably leagues more popular than the others but… I don’t plan on making a huge batch…
Said fan merch I’m making— this one will probably be the priciest bc of the different charms I’m adding haha The other things will be simpler but I wanted to make something special! I’ll make a lil poll here since I’m not just limiting this to selling at the one event. The rest I’ll open orders online or sell at different events!

Hawaii Trip/Kawaii Kon 2026! April 20th-April 27th
I was able to be accepted again this year for artist alley, but this time hun made plans to have it as a group trip with people from VA and Texas!
First two days was just going to a sandbar and enjoying the waters and food. Me and hun had some good coordination when we were kayaking... not so much on paddleboards bc our asses fell off a lot! I can't even complain about the amount of spam musubi I ate that week, I love spam and rice. Tho like... there was one meal we wasted where someone wanted to go to mcdonald's to try the breakfast and we got the spam and rice and... I mean... wished I had banana ketchup-- it's just we walked 15 mins in the humidity bc someone MENTIONED mcdonald's breakfast, and they didn't say until AFTER we got the food that they were like "oh... I didn't want to eat it." and so she was sitting there not eating when we were like "... we walked here because YOU mentioned it." what...
I got my fans!!! They were... my life saver during the trip bc it was SOO DAMN HOT! I carried around my Toji one and ppl said they liked it HAHA.
We also got to experience an intimate Luau and it was so nice! The view was beautiful, the food was good, and the hosts were very entertaining and it was cool learning about the history! I wanted to go to one on our first trip, but we didn't have time, so I'm glad we got to experience one on the second one!
Finally got my hands on Ono Seafood poke omfg... my love... I am SO sad that I could only eat it once that whole trip... like... my disappointment was UGH. I also tried the Bretman Rock smoothie and it was so yummy!!! I ate Yogur Story again and it never misses-- also Hun picked up some Yakisoba from Don Quijote and it was so yummy??? Yakisoba is one of my fave type of noodles, esp when it's thin.
Went to Don Quijote and... couldn't resist getting the bkdk plushies...
The con was good I mean Kawaiikon was never one that was known for being a big money maker con, but I was able to make more than last year! The set up was humid and hot as usual since they didn't have the ac on. The hours were strange too, due to the construction. Friday it was from 6 (technically 6:30pm) - 10pm-- but despite the shorter hours, did a lot better than I thought on the first day. Tho... I spent quite a bit bc there was just SO many artists that caught my attention... specifically prints??? I think I'm drawn more to prints now, and I'm like... interested in just buying portfolios so I can have my own makeshift artbooks of artists I like! I met an artist who I REALLY like and we bonded over TOJI HAHA THEY SHOWED ME THEIR TOJI BODY PILLOW IN THE WORKS AND I WAS AHHHH I am so excited... It's unfortunate that they don't post online as much... but I feel for them bc posting online really is... tiring. BUT I'M GLAD I GOT THEIR SOCIALS SO I CAN TRY AND GET MORE SNEAK PEEKS.
I was able to meet the eng VA for Naoya and I got him to sign the squishy torso acrylic and he was flabberghasted LMAOOO He took a photo of it and they asked me so many questions LOOOL He had to preface "i do NOT condone his actions-- BUT he was def a fun character to act."
I visited my fave booth which is book off... idk why but I just love wasting my time sifting through all the stuff. I told myself I'll stop if I see anything regarding my golden trio, Sasuke, Bakugo, or Toji. Toji is practically impossible to find, Bakugo is possible but hard.... Sasuke... sometimes I find him, but I don't like it!!! LOL
On Saturday, SOMEONE TOOK THE DISPLAY I HAD FOR MY BAKUGO MIRROR SMH... MY FIRST THEFT!!! Whoever was walking around hawaii w that mirror... 50/50 percent chance they did not buy it (only bc I only sold like... ONE WHICH WAS SO SURPRISING. Usually those mirrors do SOOO WELL but I guess there's something for every con.
We went out for karaoke on saturday for a friend's bday and omfg... the room was SO expensive... by the end of the night after three hours it was around $800.... I wished we made the room more dim, but anyway I love karaoke, but there was this one guy that kept queueing up songs that NO ONE KNEW... like... ENOUGH!!!
Last day of Kawaii kon, hun and I were able to catch the Flow concert and they were SOO GOOD!! I'm so happy that we got to see them up close, and they sang so many naruto songs-- even covers from other bands and AHHH Hearing a hero's comeback cover is so good. My ass was singing on the top of my lungs for Go!!! I didn't think I would be awake enough bc for karaoke the previous night, I didn't sleep until like... 3am and the con was open at 9am... But when the concert happened, I woke up so fast LOL
I didn't take much pics of myself bc... I was just hot and sweaty majority of the time, looking like a bum while walking all over-- I didn't mind all the walking though! Needed it for all the food we ate HAHA I wanna learn how to do make up when it comes to hot and humid weather.
Bc the friend group I went w are... hm... normies and I'm very much a big ass weeb LMFAO I taught some of the guys the concept of omegaverse and said that none of the guys there were alpha and they're all omega. The whole trip, they were trying to prove that they're not omegas but... LMFAOOO I am surprised w how much others entertain the type of bullshit that comes out of my mouth bc what.
Overall it was a good week! Busy and lots of walking, and nice seeing old friends. I feel like I wasn't able to catch up as much as I'd like since we were slip up into two groups and the other group had SUCH a busy itinerary, whereas the group I was in was def more lax... plus I was super busy during Kawaii Kon.
Oh one thing that happened while I was vending at game on expo was that instead of an art trade, someone asked if I was interested in trading some of my Bakugo merch for a figure and I was like??? Hell yeah! Didn’t think that could be a thing but… I’m not opposed to it LOOL now he’s part of the collection eheh ❤️

As an attendee probably because they had some pretty good guests! Though I can’t say for sure of the con as a whole since I was vending and I prob wouldn’t do it again since unless I really have nothing else to do. But I think they’re changing the dates to earlier next year and I’d rather prioritize other events. If you’re local then probably!
My Toji figuarts hehe. Tbh his head didn’t fit the second body I got bc the hole in his og head was too wide… so a temporary solution I have to keep it in place is this sticky tack LOL but it’s like a two in one kinda figure 🥰
I recently got a button maker that only makes 75mm (3in.) buttons and I love it sm. I have a small LADs event for Rafayel’s bday this Saturday! (That may or may not happen if the weather is favorable,) I’m testing out new laminate and made backing cards and thought it turned out so cute lol Gonna add these later on to my shop after the event.
Been glued to my computer so I finally got out of the house to relax just a lil bit. Went to Round One on Feb 03, and tried out the crane games with hun and omg… I saw an Usopp plush and uhhh ok ya we struggled MEGA HARD with that. We walked away from the crane machine with NOTHING, but the security guard saw that and he just won it for me??? LOL Like as we were looking at the other crane games, he walked up and handed it to me and I was so flabbergasted and grateful! Bc Usopp ngl... he's my fave straw hat besides Luffy so I thought that was SOO sweet LOOOL
Then I saw one with MHA plushies... specifically Bakugo and Deku... I couldn't get Deku bc it was SOOOO hard to get Bakugo like??? Idk how many times it took, but I finally was able to win it and I'm like... Maybe another day Deku-- maybe. There were a couple other things we were able to take home, but these were the main ones omf. And then I saw this photobooth that had Naruto frames! I accidentally ran out of time for the black and orange frame but whatever it was still cute HAHAHA I would've asked hun to take pics w me for that one at least. You can see that I didn't know what to do with poses. There was a beautify filter and I wonder how that one would've looked like bc I feel like the normal one was already good enough w the lighting haha.
We played some of the rhythm games and it made me miss rock band... like I miss having the silly drums. The other rhythm games... I can't understand, there's so much going on-- though the racing games were fun! But yea we were mainly there for the crane games.
