Fun D&D rule for your home games: If you’re out of spell slots, you can keep using spells, but at your own personal expense - it will cost you points of exhaustion. A level 1 spell will cost you 1 point of exhaustion, level 2 will cost 2 points, etc… up to level 6, at which point you die. So you can sacrifice yourself to do one final level 6 spell, but nothing higher. This way you could give your party one last clutch spell, but you have to spend days recovering afterwards.

you are not an anime character. your actions impact others and do not only exist in theory. nobody is required to stick around for your tragic backstory or to learn the reasons behind your actions. if you treat people like garbage, they are allowed to think of you as a jerk and nothing more. nobody is obligated to analyze you or think twice when you hurt them. similarly, you are not required to stick around to listen to other people’s reasons for treating you like trash. you can call them a jerk, cut them out of your life, and call it a day.

I don’t post here often but,

I thought a life update was in order. I got a promotion at my job to a weekend team lead position, and my boss and HR are really happy with the way I’ve stepped up to help improve the department and the way we handle things within the department. I also started up my medication again which has really helped with my ability to focus on things and actually be productive. My partner and I also got another cat this past sunday who has been keeping me awake at night, because all he wants to do is play. I’ll post images of the cat at some point. Also I’ve been looking into expanding on my cosplay wardrobe so its not just Spike Spiegel all the time when I go out to conventions, might grab a P5 cos at some point and maybe another one, not sure what else. That’s about it for my life update.
