people seem to be fundamentally misunderstanding the point of this poll. this poll is not a popularity contest. we are not debating which was the better show (we all know it was yoi). no. we bear a far heavier burden.
we are gathered here today to commemorate toxicity. to celebrate DRAMA. we have been charged with a most solemn duty: to honor the traumatized stans that came before us. this is what it means to vote for the most iconic blorbo. it has nothing to do with love or preference. this is about recognizing who had the most lopsided and annoying ratio of lukewarm character to genuinely rabid fans. AND THAT HONOR GOES TO LANCE VOLTRON.
if you hate voltron then you have to vote lance. if you were traumatized by voltron then you have to vote lance. that's how it works. this is what it means to be an 'iconic blorbo' -- a toxic, complicated hate-love relationship that inspires one to borderline violence. it is passion pushed to the extreme; an iconic blorbo is something you love so much you want to possess it, sometimes even through the destruction of the blorbo's self. lance voltron did not die on the flanderized cross just FOR THIS.
