Played through that game with a friend recently and she was a little bit disturbed by Magolor's Soul. She knew nothing about Kirby so it definitely took her off guard.

Lesson of the day: Final Bosses do not translate so well into humans especially if you don't like body horror. I could have held back on the melting but I did take some artistic liberation mostly because body horror is my favourite kind of horror. At least I didn't let his skin colour shine through the teal colour that was a bit too much.
