Eric Church, who was one of the artists at the Route 59 music festival, called out the NRA recently so he’s essentially saying he belongs over with the Dixie chicks in the “country music doesn’t accept you anymore group”

Unfortunately for him, country music has gotten way more accepting of various viewpoints and Eric church maintained that he still supports gun rights, just not the NRA and lack of limits

Fuck off with blaming feminism. He wasn’t just telling her that he liked her hair loose, he was belittling her and her choices. He is an emotionally abusive and insufferable jerk

Wow, if your baseline is “at least he didn’t assault her,” then you have a really fucked up idea of what is and isn’t ok in interpersonal relations. 

Again, it’s not that he had an opinion, it’s that he talked over her and said that his opinion over something so trivial was objectively more correct than her opinion. Furthermore, his reasoning was that he was a man so he knows better what men like, which means he is under the impression that:

All men like the same things,

He knows Tori’s fiance better than she does, and

She should be dressing primarily, if not exclusively, to please men.

Oh bless your heart. Gil will sometimes give me some tips on what to wear and because he is my headship, everything related to my appearance is up to him despite what I might think looks best. Tori didn’t get that message apparently. Also I miss wearing shorts. Nathan was reminding Tori that not only was it his opinion that he didn’t like her hair (and there’s nothing wrong with having an opinion if you’re a man) but that as a woman her role is to please Bobby. It should be the goal of all Godly, virtuous women to shun their ideas of beauty if they don’t align with male standards. This isn’t about siblings or a hairstyle, it’s about the notion that a woman’s opinion will NEVER win over a man’s and that they are the inferior gender. He can tease Trace about his looks (sometimes I wonder where he got them!) because no matter what he does with his appearance, a woman will one day have to accept him since she’ll need him to provide for her and her opinion of his looks wouldn’t matter anyway.

I don’t see why not! I sure wasn’t wearing my long skirts and dresses when I snagged Gil and look at what an amazing husband and father he’s been! Just because you haven’t yet decided to dress modestly doesn’t mean you won’t be able to find yourself a wonderful man! I think Whitney wears those yoga pant things sometimes and I’m pretty sure Alyssa tried to sneak a bikini past me on vacation but it’s up to their husbands and God to open their eyes for them to change their ways. Just make sure you aren’t giving away too many pieces of your heart so that you have plenty of love to give that special man when you meet him😊
