Abdulrahman makes a very good point in this post. Over the time we have spent researching these questions, we have discovered new information about the subjects we are researching. Our minds are opened up to new ideas and opinions. In the beginning, I too thought that social media was a very positive thing, but through research, I discovered that social media can be a very scary thing. At the same time though, social media is not completely bad. Like he says, it can be used to spread an idea and connect with people around the world.

Piano Lesson Casting

I would cast Kenan Thompson as Boy Willie. He would be a very good choice because, his personality seems to be exactly like Boy Willie's is.

I would cast Anthony Mackie as Lymon. Anthony Mackie looks like he would be a good Lymon based on what I've seen from Lymon in the older movie.

I would cast Halle Berry as Bernice. I honestly have mixed opinions about this choice because Halle played Catwoman in the terrible 2004 film, but she also did an amazing job playing Storm in the X-Men movies.

I completely agree with Yonis' point of view. Everything he stated was true and he backed it up with solid reasoning. He tells us about how reputation works and why it can make you or break you. I think he could persuade anyone to see his reasoning in his point of view.

There are plenty of songs that talk about justice, society, and reputation in the world. But one of my personal favorites is “American Idiot” by Green Day. Judging the by the title, I’m sure you can guess what this song is about. Written during the Bush administration, the song takes a look at front man Billie Joe Armstrong’s political views on America at the time, stating things like: America is a nation that is controlled by the media, and that subliminal messages are every where in all of that media.

  This song gives America a very bad reputation. It points out how we are all being brainwashed by the subliminal messages that are everywhere, including children’s television programs. They are meant to distract us from knowing the truth about the American government and their antics with other countries around the world.

In what ways do you think social networking helps you better connect with the world around you? Give at least three specific examples.

Social networking has now become something that nobody can live without. Even my grandma has a Facebook! A lot of people think that social networking has a bad influence on kids, but I think it only helps let us know what’s going on in the world and it also allows us to keep in touch with family or friends whether or not they’re across the world. Big events or trends that happen around the world usually end up on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These trends do eventually die, but chances are that if you use the internet at all, you’ve seen or heard about what’s been happening around Earth.

A reputation is something that you gain over time. It could be good or bad depending on what you do and how people see you. A lot of people don't care about what other people think of them but in the real world it is better to have a good reputation because that is what gets you places in life.

This is Batman. I think that Batman is a high representative of justice. Justice is doing the right thing and to be fair and just in doing that. He fights wrong doers and injustice to make sure that justice is kept safe in the world. Without justice, chaos takes over and anyone could get away with being unfair to everyone. Without Batman, justice would cease to exist (in Gotham).
