remus is just as pretty and handsome as sirius, just in a different way. sirius has high cheekbones, perfect features, grey eyes and that self-confident aura that makes him look like he just stepped straight out of a vogue magazine.

and remus is just as breathtaking. he’s tall and immediately stands out in every room, but he also has more distinctive features, like a big nose that somehow only makes him look more majestic and handsome. with his brown curls constantly falling into his warm brown eyes, his freckles and his tanned skin, he looks like the human version of being sun-kissed.

when people see sirius and remus together they’re not thinking “wow sirius is attractive”, they’re thinking “damn what a hot couple”

every july remus and sirius disappear for a week to that rickety old cabin by the lake with no real plans except to be useless and in love. they eat berries straight off the bushes, juice staining their fingers and mouths, sirius always popping the ripest ones between remus’ lips. they cannonball into the water until their skin is pruned and their lungs burn, swimming for hours, splashing and dunking each other before drifting close, all wet hair and slick skin. when they’re all dripping and sun-drunk, sirius climbs on top of remus right there on the wooden planks, and they kiss for hours, tasting like berries and lake water and summer heat. remus keeps whispering “you get sunburned so easily” against sirius’ mouth but neither of them moves to put on more sunscreen for at least another hour. later they lie on threadbare towels sunbathing, remus with his book forgotten on his chest as sirius traces lazy patterns over his scars. at night they catch fireflies, laughing and mocking the way their soda cans crack open, then lie tangled in sleeping bags outside the tent, sticky with sweat and lake water, trading sticky-sweet kisses under a sky full of stars

i hc that james saw a picture of little reggie with his haunting eyes as a girl when he was in first year and was a bit smitten, but stopped after one “she’s pretty” at the look on sirius face and the explanation that that was his sister but bc of reggie’s tendencies the family wants to preserve the female image ofc and because reg was always sick as a child, they sort of kept him hidden, so they sent him to beauxbaton to like get him with other girls and then when he kept defying and sirius helped him cut his hair and do a couple other things and such, and bc he was so young he could sort of pass, but it got worse as he got older and so then sirius helped him with some of the bigger stuff and then in fifth he rebelled and ran away over the summer and it was getting harder to control reggie and there had been too many changes and he had been too depressed so he was in and out of school and so they were like fuck it we need a male heir and obvi bella went batshit so reggie kinda took siri’s place which sirius was so glad he could finally be himself but also like yknow and reg was so afraid he would get this taken away he went along with the plans until he was too caught up in the death eaters and stuff but wait this was mostly supposed to focus in on that he shows up sixth year fully transitioned and is like holy shit i need that and then yknow have to keep it hidden and shit after he finds out he’s siri’s brother and their beef and stuff so like yeah or maybe james had seen some pictures over the years and kept his thoughts to himself and covered it up with lily but sixth year he’s like oh lord bro dude man and stuff and goes after him like crazy or smthn and then like some shit happens over the summer or smthn some kind of riff oh wait no because this could all be canon because and stuff and james finds out reg becomes a death eater at end of fifth or smthn and like omg omg omg and then is like oh fuck no reggie whatve you done and reg’s like fuck off you don’t know anything and so they separate and then james starts dating lily the next year bc she finally starts liking him bc he stops being pompous bc he’s depressed from reg and all his friends are like u need this man this is what you’ve been waiting for omg omg this is all canon holy shit but no james never would’ve found out reg rebelled fahhhhh

or maybe to give them more time reg finds the mirror when sirius is at home at some point and like he and james start talking and it like kind of continues over the years and james isn’t really sure why he doesn’t tell sirius but he likes that this is his especially after sirius and moony get closer and reg thinks he’d be in robles with sirius bc sirius is kinda being a bitchy thirteen yro and starting to rebel or smthn and omg maybe the rift between them started earlier than him running away bc reg starts conforming to the black blood purity shit bc he’s desperately trying to be allowed to be himself and like him and sirius could’ve had a plan or no idk but whatwhatwhatwhat bc this would all technically be canon

and after james finds out they have a rift over the summer and reg is like good whatever but he either alr had plans to rebel and shit oh wait canon says shortly after he joined voldemort fucked w kreacher and he was like hell nah so okay maybe that happens over summer and he’s like okay no it’s good james is gone bc like i can’t have any distractions if im gonna do this and like i gotta keep him safe and james is pining and like i can change his mind and in the fall james goes back after him and regulus finally breaks and goes i know im trying to do something about it and is like fuck bc james can’t know like he has to be completely secret if they ever find out their connection so he obliviates him like tragically w tears and that’s how he finally gets with lily even tho he was over that forever ago bc like his friends tell him to and he’s depressed and he doesn’t know why and like lily is like wow he’s so deep and like all this and he dies either thinking reg is evil OR NEVER KNOWING HE LOVED HIM NOOOOOOOOOOOO omg omg no i can’t my babies and this all could’ve technically happeneddddd
