jesu "Hard to Reach" EP out now
LINK
'Hard To Reach' and 'The Stars That Hang Above You' were originally released in 2008/09, as half of a split with ENVY (Japan) on Hydra Head, Conspiracy Recs and Daymare Recs JP, on both CD and Vinyl. Both tracks are now presented here re-mastered, and coupled with two previously unreleased tracks, that were considered to be included if the original release had been a stand alone Jesu EP as opposed to a split. An extra bonus is the 'Hard To Reach (Alternative Version)', which was initiated around 2012 but never completed, It was finished and mixed in 2023.

So What? There’s a Kid on the End of the Phone says he writes a Fanzine interview with Clock DVA
Not a whole lot of context on this one. So the person who wrote this zine got Clock DVA’s phone number and just called to try and get and interview. (These things happened before the internet.) He got it. It was just very terse.

Q Lazzarus, “Goodbye Horses” (1987)
The music video for “Goodbye Horses” relies heavily on occult themes and dreamlike imagery to match the esoteric nature of the songs’ lyrics. In 2017, the video was finally released to the public via YouTube to accompany the re-release of Lazzarus’ music on Spotify.
In 2018, the true identity of Q Lazzarus was revealed to be a Staten Island woman named Diane Luckey, a bus driver who had retired from the music industry in 1996. While she appreciated the new-found interest in her former music career, she preferred to keep a low-profile and live a life without much attention.
Luckey passed away on July 19, 2022 at the age of 61 from an undisclosed illness. A documentary about Luckey's life, which began production in 2019, is set to be released later in 2023.
