“yeah, nothing was ever serious. we knew things were going to end once high school ended and college started. and i don’t think i’ve ever been in love. my mom jokes that i might be one of those people who can’t feel anything, especially love.” he said with a small laugh. he licked his lips and looked at kenny. “i kinda want to agree with her, but what if i actually been in love but never knew it? how is love supposed to feel?” he asked with a small frown. he looked back up as he felt the squeeze on his hand. “yeah! i think it’ll fit perfectly.”
“hey, don’t say that. i mean i can’t be certain i’ve fallen in love either. does anyone really know what love is?” he shrugged, “i don’t know, it always sucks because i always feel like i care more about them then they do about me.” that was something that always hurt him the most, kenny bit his lip nervously. he rubbed his hands on his thighs as they started sweating in the slightest. his fingers found the frets and played the chord progression as he sang the prechorus they’s just written together. “i think that works” he said with a nod. “d’you wanna write that for me”
