Made of thick iron, it’s been enchanted to withstand the sea air and damp conditions it is pristine and without rust how do you proceed?” Kitsune Rouge: “I attempt to lock pick.”[roll 2] Dm: “try as you might the lock is too complex forged by warforged engineers.” Halfelf alchemist: “I attempt to blow it up.”[puts a bomb on it. Blowing about four hp out of herself in the process] Dm: “with heavy shrapnel in your leg you’re in a bit of pain but the door is only slightly scuffed.” Elven mage: “I want to heal the alchemist, I don’t have anything for doors in my spells.” Dm: “Gearjam you’re the only one who hasn’t attempted what do you do?” Gearjam, Warforged Fighter: “I use my key on the door.” Dm: “the door opens with a thud of the lock and creaks open.” Alchemist(ooc): “You had the key this whole time?!” Rouge(ooc):”why didn’t you tell us?!?” Mage(ooc): “I just wasted a spell slot!” Gearjam(ooc): “I have an intelligence of six. Nobody asked me.” Dm(ooc): “I have mentioned three times this session this was Gearjams ship.”
please remember that in a healthy, adult relationship (romantic or not), you should be able to talk about things that are bothering you. if you are bottling up your emotions and holding it against someone when you haven’t told them what is wrong, you’re not engaging in healthy behaviour. but also, if your friend/significant other makes you feel as though you can’t talk about what bothers you- i.e. has made you feel guilty/gotten extraordinarily angry when things were brought up in the past- they are not engaging in healthy behaviour.
