...to Guiney's of Talbot Street. I don't think I ever bought anything from it but it was so synonymous with that part of Dublin that seeing it lie derelict is just wrong.

Day 23: What you do for fun

Saturday is football day and there are few things I enjoy more than getting out to watch the match. Not today of course as the bloody snow has wiped the whole programme out but use your imagination and make do with this picture I took last year watching the titanic battle between Sport & Leisure Swifts and Ballyclare Comrades. About as glamorous as it comes, folks.

Day 19: A sign

It's fair to say that some of the signs in Belfast are a lot grimmer than those you'll find in most other places. What a shocking waste.

This local cat often visits my house about 9 o'clock at night so why not?

I can't drive  buses make me hurl and I hate flying so nothing beats the train for exploring.
