Kestrelteen's Pumpkin Café 'Hood View Enabled 🎃

I've had this pumpkin in my game for the past two years and wished it was viewable in 'hood view. I've recently learned how to do it, so here you gooo! ✨

I re-categorized it as "general > party"

I changed the price to §1,000 (biggg pumpkin)

I changed the room rating to 10 (prettyyy pumpkin)

I didn't keep the file name the same since I've had this in my game for a while and tend to rename things, so you'll have to delete the original mesh first if you have it

Sooo this year for Spooky Day I wanted to go all out and create my very own set! 🎃 Just like most of us, my love for Simblreen knows no bounds so I wanted to try and turn it into something we can use to clutter up our sims' homes and get them ready for the spookiest night of the year.

My biggest inspiration for this set were vintage Halloween masks and decorations from the '90s, cryptids and a horror movie here and there.

The set consists of (from left to right):

spooky party shelf (1,309 polys; 3 swatches)

DIY cardboard dancing skeleton (1,664 polys; 3 swatches)

stuff of nightmares (1,178 polys; 2 swatches)

mothman cardboard cutout (170 polys; 1 swatch)

the dancing skeleton craft box (2,295 polys; 1 swatch)

Most of the textures were hand painted by me and the Bigfoot and Mothman cutouts were inspired by this artwork.

hi kestrel! i know you might not see this as you seem to have made the switch to sims 4, but in your bubble tea set, I noticed conversions of aira's pinkie set. googling only came up with the ts4 version. did you convert the set? if so, would you mind sharing it if you still have it? thank you and I hope you're enjoying sims 4!

oh it's october already? time to replay life is strange for the 100th time and get inspired and start a new save and turn evergreen harbor into a rundown small town

also, brindleton bay has some major arcadia bay potential, right?

also, it took me waaaay too long to figure out what to build on the quarry building lot. I guess an old factory turned diner + grocery store will do!

hi mari! I love your nostalgia loving conversions so much! I was just wondering: most items are quite shiny. I prefer them more matte, so I used pforests shine remover on them, nbd. But I was wondering if that’s on purpose? Your previews don’t look shiny, so maybe the lighting in your game is different? It’s most noticeable on the sofas, the blanket and the pillows.

I’m looking forward to the kitchen conversion!!

I personally haven’t noticed the shine, it could be due to me focusing on other aspects or maybe because of reshade in the preview screenshots, I was pretty burnt out from the set towards the end ‘cause there were so many items, I wanted to finish it asap or it would have dragged out way too much, so that could be the reason! if a lot of people are bothered by the shiny items I could update them as soon as I have time :))

that build is inaccessible to me right now since the last update, a lot of my lots have been corrupted somehow and stuck on the loading screen :/

plus it’s loaded with cc and I’ve been clearing out my mods folder so I guess it wouldn’t be what it was anyway :/ sorry to disappoint!
