GHOTI is a black and white 28 page zine containing short stories, illustrations, photography, reviews, comics and even a crossword. This edition is loosely on the theme of Seinfeld, for no particular reason. If you know nothing about Seinfeld, it probably doesn’t matter much.

This zine is limited to 200 hand-numbered copies and contains content/trigger warnings for your comfort and safety.

GHOTI is a constructed word used to illustrate irregularities in English spelling. It is a respelling of the word fish: i.e., it is supposed to be pronounced /ˈfɪʃ/. It comprises these phonemes:

gh, pronounced /f/ as in tough /tʌf/; o, pronounced /ɪ/ as in women /ˈwɪmɪn/; and ti, pronounced /ʃ/ as in nation /ˈneɪʃən/.
