IMPORTANT FOR WOH FANS (ESPECIALLY ZZH FANS), PLEASE READ!
So, it's a common knowledge in the WoH fandom that many bad thing have happened to Zhang Zhehan and there have been many blogs talking about many different things about him.
And I know that the WoH fandom is still patiently waiting for him to be back and clear his name.
You all would be glad to know that a fan in China sent an email to China's Guang Dian aka the National Administration of Radio and Television for information then got this response with the red seal. This should be true because faking a red seal can get you sent to jail.
This is my translation for the email. I had never translated anything formal before so my wording can be a little off but this should convey most of the stuff correctly (noted that I took the Vietnamese translation of a fandom page to translate to English, I don't know Chinese except for some simple stuff):

of Radio and Television recognizes Zhang Zhehan as an artist with moral issues,
releasing with official documents calling for social medias to close related
accounts, calling for audiovisual platforms to take down all of his works, asking

boycotting within the scope of the industry” is non-existent, with the reason that our
National Administration has never released this kind of document.
We appreciate your concern towards our operation.

2. The girl who posted this on her Weibo has been harassed by ZZH's "antis", apparently. So she decided to make the post private and luckily, it has been spread so that people can know about this.
To reconfirm, ZZH is not banned nor boycotted in China. Guang Dian has never released anything on banning him. Why were his works taken down? Why did all of his endorment brands drop him? Well, ask the capitalists 🙂
It also concern an organisation called CAPA (well, that's all I can remember about it) trying to get him boycotted but this is a non-governmental organization.
There have been several of what it's called in Vietnamese "bài phản hắc", which are basically posts trying to clear his name by finding out the truth and fighting against all the stupid accusations against him that people have made online. The temple is not a Nazi-worshipped place, even some of the official Chinese pages have recommended people to come and see its cherry blosson garden. The photo with the mermaid statue has been photoshopped (badly, even) since the actual statue is 20-meters tall. The picture with the grave is not disrespectful since it's a temple for a fictional character and people have been taking pictures with it since forever.
He did not sexually harrassed Ju Jingyi (she has confirmed this a long time ago but people like to dig this up). They said he trapped her underneath but the truth is, his knee went through surgery and he could not get up too quickly. Ju Jingyi did know about this and she was working really well with him. They even worked with each other in another drama after this one and the behind-the-scenes always show how comfortable they were with each other. The two books he recommended never mention anything Nazi-related. And he is not a country traitor.
I don't know if he wants to make his comeback anytime soon (it has to be traumatized being accused of so many shits like that while being insulted and called names) or anything. But ZZH is innocent of all these accusations and people need to know that. For now, everyone must be careful and not just go on any Chinese platforms to talk about anything you want. Because this is a sensitive time and it's best not bringing more problem for ZZH.
