When growing up in the dry hills of Southeastern Oklahoma, I believed these to be ancient worm burrows. Yesterday we spent time examining our hillside rocks and arrived at the conclusion these are actually Crinoids. Fascinating to see the ancient sea bed come to life. Perhaps from the Lower Jurassic.
