I am here with a new list. I am still watching K-Dramas but I recently got into Chinese dramas… If you guys know any that I must watch, SEND IT MY WAY. I AM OPEN TO EVERYTHING. 

Chinese Drama List: 

The Flame’s Daughter: (First Episode:) March 1, 2018 (Final Episode:) April 6, 2018 (52 Episodes)

Genres: Historical, Romance, Wuxia, drama

My opinion: This is the first show I have ever watched where YOU HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMETHING GOOD TO HAPPEN. What I mean is one bad thing happens, then it continues and continues and you start to lose hope that ANYTHING GOOD WILL HAPPEN. I got so mad at this show but for some odd reason, I couldn’t stop watching it. I don’t know if it had to do with the fact that I was curious about how things were going to end… OR because of the attractive characters… like Lei Jinghong and Zhan Feng… ANYWAYS THAT’S BESIDES THE POINT. Honestly, I would recommend watching the show but I will warn you that there are some cringe scenes (not as bad as k-dramas) and THIS SHOW WILL GET YOU MAD and maybe lost hope for a happy ending…

My Rating: 8.5/10 (took points off because it pissed me off)

Summary: Lie Ru Ge is the daughter of the master of Lie Huo Manor which is the most powerful jiang hu sect. She is a cheerful beauty who’s trying to regain her eldest senior’s heart after he suddenly goes back on his promise to marry her. In an effort to learn how to attract her beloved again, she goes to the most popular brothel house where she meets Yin Xue, the brothel owner and “Number One Beauty”. The Untamed: (First Episode:) June 27, 2019 (Last Episode:) August 7, 2019 (50 Episodes)

My Opinion: THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. First I would like to say I LOVE THIS SHOW. Honestly, if anyone asks me what’s my favorite show this will have to be up there. I fell in love with the characters. I swear I don’t think I could ever see anyone else play Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji better than Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan. They did amazing and although the two main characters don’t exactly say they like one another, their chemistry is amazing. Like there is so much that I want to say but I am scared that I will spoil it for the ones who haven’t seen this drama. All I want to say is if you like fighting, a love story and drama well this is a perfect one for you. If you watch this, let me know what you think because I guarantee you will get hooked. My older sister recommended this drama to my friends and I and that was it, we all grew this love for this drama… I am telling you, please watch this, you won’t regret it. (By the way this drama is a boys love drama however there isn’t any intimacy due to Chinese censorship)

Ashes of Love: (First Episode:) August 2, 2018 (Last Episode:) September 4, 2018 (63 Episodes) 

Genres: Historical, Romance, Wuxia, Fantasy 

My Opinion: DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. First I want to say I absolutely love this show. I love everything about it. I love the romance, I love the story plot, I love the chemistry of the main characters, I love the soundtrack, I love the drama… I just love everything about this show. I don’t know personally I am the type of person who is into angst storylines. I think I should mention that. If you’re the type of person who is not into storylines that involve a lot of tragic events this is not the show for you. Although there will be cute events, it’s like a roller coaster… It goes up and up and you think everything will be fine and BOOM YOU’RE GOING DOWN… and next thing you know you’re holding a box of tissues wiping your tears away. I think what really captivates me about liking this show is the fact that although their acting (obviously) you can really feel their emotion when something happens. Like they just did one hell of a job with this show. OH AND ALSO if you have watched this show and you claim that Jin Mi should have been with Run Yu instead of the Phoenix I DO NOT AGREE. But let me not get started before I spoil everything… PLEASE TAKE A CHANCE TO WATCH THIS YOU WON’T REGRET IT.

Love and Destiny: (First Episode:) July 15, 2019 (Last Episode:) August 16, 2019 (60 Episodes) 

Genres: Historical, Romance, Wuxia, Fantasy 

My Opinion:  This drama was cute. Okay, you know what no I shouldn’t even say that because this drama had me go on a roller coaster ride… But then again anytime I watch any wuxia I always have moments where I’m happy, sad, and then ready to jump on the screen and fight someone. Jesus the main character goes through so much. Like, damn girl even in the last episode… But this show kind of resembled Ashes of Love, just a little bit I think that’s why I enjoyed it. The only thing that I hate is that the evil character always tends to live longer than they should. Cross that sometimes they never die like in this case, I swear the evil people did not die, and I’m like WHY?! I don’t know man I mean I could say so much but I will keep it short and simple. WATCH IT :)

Summary: A love story between the God of War and a young maiden whose very existence can bring harm to the world. Through the encouragement of Jiu Chen, Ling Xi who was once innocent and naive transforms into a brave leader in a fight against evil.

Scarlet Heart: (First Episode:) September 10, 2011 (Last Episode:) September 29, 2011 (35 Episodes)

Genres: Historical, Romance, Drama, Political 

My Opinion: So before watching this I have previously watched Moonlovers: Scarlet heart the Korean version and loved it. I was then told that it was based on this drama and a girl just had to check it out. After watching these two dramas I would necessarily say I have a preference for one over the other… I mean to be fair the Korean one had its perks and so did this one. Personally this drama I felt like the chemistry and relationships among the characters felt much more personal than in the Korean one. I felt like they had great chemistry and I could see the genuine love and friendship among the characters. If you watched the Korean version I would recommend watching this one. Or if you haven’t watched the Korean one, watch this one first… 

My rating: 8.4/10

Summary: A car accident sends Zhang Xiao back in time into the body of one of her previous reincarnations, a 16-year-old aristocratic Manchu girl, Maertai Ruoxi, who lived during the Qing Dynasty. Despite knowing that she shouldn’t get involved in palace intrigue over the succession to the throne, Ruoxi became a pawn in the struggle, since she couldn’t help but love someone, as others came to love her.

The Long Ballad: (First Episode:) March 31, 2021 (Last Episode:) May 3, 2021 (49 Episodes) 

Genres: Actions, Historical, Romance, War 

My Opinion: There is a lot I can say about this show but I will try my hardest to keep it as vague as possible. I don’t want to be responsible for any spoiler alert. The first thing I would like to say is I personally enjoyed the show. I definitely sense the chemistry between the two main characters however there is one thing that did bother me… That is the lack of any romantic gesture. I think at most all he does is hug her and tell her I want to marry you… AND THEN THE SCENE WHEN THEY “KISSED” DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. I personally would have loved to see a lot more potential scenes between those two but whatever. Another thing I would like to say is there is an episode that literally made me cry. My sister tried to warn me and I thought how bad can it be… next thing I knew I was bawling my eyes out like a little kid… YEAH, so I think it’s safe to say YOU WILL CRY if you have a heart of course. Ummm the last thing I would like to address is the ending was a bit disappointing. The ending felt completely rushed and it could have had far more episodes but whatever I guess… But overall I think everyone should stop and watch this show or add it to your list, you won’t regret it.

Scarlet Heart Season 2: (First Episode:) April 22, 2014 (Last Episode:) May 6, 2014 (39 Episodes)

Genres: Romance, Drama

My Opinion: Listen with all due respect, THIS SEASON WAS TRASH. Okay, hear me out… Before I watched this show I watched Moonlovers the Korean version and instantly fell in love. After watching it I always told myself how can they leave such a cliffhanger like this to an amazing show. Then when I discovered that Scarlet Heart was the original show I took my chances and took the time to watch it. The first season wasn’t bad, if anything I enjoyed myself watching it. Then I later discovered that this show had a second season and I got so happy because I thought YAY I was finally going to get the happy ever after finale Moonlovers didn’t get… GUESS WHAT! JOKES ON ME. Listen anyone who watches the first season… Please save your time and don’t bother watching the second season. It was so pointless. It was poorly written, in the end, they didn’t incorporate the fact that the two met in the past life and it was just from one bad event to the next. Like it was just a disaster and honestly don’t even get me started with the ending. LMAO the ending was a complete joke. Like honestly I was so dumbfounded at how bad the ending was. Don’t even get me started on that… I am going to end it here before I give out spoilers… JUST DONT WATCH IT. TRUST ME I AM DOING YALL A FAVOR.

Genres: Mystery, Romance, Sci-Fi, Fantasy 

My Opinion: I feel like the show overall had so much potential. I feel like eventually throughout the show I started to catch myself losing interest and it took me a little longer to finish the show. I feel like the writers of this show didn’t know what direction they wanted to go based on the storyline. ,. I mean the show wasn’t horrible if I was able to watch the whole thing. But I don’t think its a drama I would find myself rewatching. Zhang Bin Bin tho looks so good in this show. 

My Rating: 6/10

Love Like the Galaxy: (First Episode:) July 5, 2022 (Last Episode:) August 18, 2022 (56 Episodes)

Genres: Historical, Mystery, Romance, Political

My Opinion:To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about giving this show a chance at first. However, I stuck with it, and before I knew it, I was eager to watch the next episode. The beginning may feel a little slow, but it serves an important purpose it helps you understand the main character’s relationship with her family and why she is the way she is. As the story progresses, it really starts to build, and you find yourself rooting for justice for her.This might be an unpopular opinion, but I personally felt that the main characters lacked chemistry. Even so, I still think the show was good overall. I especially appreciated the storyline and its realistic portrayal of seeking family approval, even when it feels like nothing you do will ever truly satisfy them.

My Rating: 8.5/10

Summary: Ling Bu Yi, the foster son of Emperor Wen and a talented & ruthless general of the Black Armour Army, was on a personal mission to uncover hidden truths about the past, which had led to the massacre of an entire city and of his clan when he met Cheng Shao Shang during a mission to apprehend a fugitive in a rural village. My Secret Hotel: (First Episode Date:) August 18, 2014 (Last Episode Date:) October 14, 2014 (16 Episodes)

Genre: Mystery, Comedy, Romance and Drama

My Opinion :I am kind of taken back at the fact that I couldn't find a single gif to show this show. . . Kind of rude but okay. Just kidding. But let's get serious. To be honest before I watched the show, I was expecting this show to be insanely cringey since this show aired in 2014. However, believe it or not it wasn't as cringy as I was expecting it to be. I mean don't get me wrong it has its corny perks, but it didn't make me hide behind my hand at any point which is a good thing. Then again Kdramas always need a little corny scene in them at some point, am I right? I really enjoyed watching the show. It has a sense of mystery trying to figure out who is the killer back at the hotel yet a romance storyline. The only thing that had me annoyed eventually throughout the show is the lack of communication. SOMETHING ALL THESE KDRAMAS TEND TO HAVE IN COMMON IS LACK OF COMMUNICATION. Just speak to one another.... How hard is that? Overall though it's a show I would certainly watch again and would recommend giving it a go.

I Hate Juliet: (First Episode Aired:) February 14, 2019 (Last Episode Aired:) May 1, 2019 (18 Episodes)

Genres: Romance, Drama, Supernatural

My Opinion: To be honest this a very short series. Most of the episodes were 18 min long so I was able to fly by this show a lot quicker than I expected. It's a typical drama. The two characters happen to meet each other when they were younger and rekindle not knowing they knew each other as kids. They pick on one another and poof before they know it, feelings are involved. Yes, cliche I know… But hey if you're into cliche shows, here you go.

My rating: 7.5/10

Summary: After an electric shock, a top celebrity is suddenly able to hear a script writer's thoughts. Knowing her true thoughts and feelings, he finds himself falling madly in love with her! But when he loses his ability to read her mind, would he still be able to win her heart?

Nevertheless: (First Episode:) June 19, 2021 (Last Episode:) August 21, 2021 (10 Episodes)

Genres: Romance, Life, Youth, Drama

My Opinion: To be honest, this show pissed me off more than it probably should have and that’s the crazy part. I could relate to the main character so much, and I think that’s what made it even more frustrating. The k-drama felt very realistic, which is probably why I couldn’t bring myself to hate it. Of course, I wished for a different kind of ending, but we all can’t win here. This is the first show where I didn’t want her to end up with the main character the entire time… and you’ll understand why if you watch it.

My rating: 9/10

Summary: Park Jae Eon finds dating a waste of time but likes to flirt. Even though he is friendly and cheerful towards all, he does not pursue others. Park Jae Eon is a master of “push-and-pull” who doesn’t get swept up in emotions. Jae Eon draws firm lines between himself and other people and doesn’t reveal how he feels. Yet when Park Jae Eon meets Yoo Na Bi, he wants to cross those lines. Yoo Na Bi wants to date but doesn’t trust love. After a bitter experience with her first love, she doesn't believe in destiny anymore. But when she meets Park Jae Eon, he has a magical effect on her that challenges Na Bi’s decision to stay aloof.

(Couldn't find a gif of the show but since he's part of it this will do) Coffee and Vanilla: (First Episode:) July 4, 2019 (Last Episode:) September 4, 2019 (10 Episodes)

Genres: Romance, Drama, Mature

My Opinion: Okay... I am not going to lie I would first like to say that the storyline of this show is very 2 dimensional. Everything was rushed and unrealistic... Honestly, this show might not be for everyone. The reason why I continued to watch this show in the first place is because the main character is insanely good looking I mean look above. And the second reason is that the characters aren't like k-dramas where they are afraid to even hug. They display way more PDA... It's not like they took episode 10 to share a kiss... I mean if anything this show was straightforward and dived right in with no warning... But I just feel like the storyline was so rushed and it sucks but it's okay. I watched it and I don't regret it to be honest. Just watch at your own risk.

Shanai Marriage Honey/ In-House Marriage Honey: (First Episode:) November 13, 2020 (Last Episode:) December 25, 2020 (7 Episodes)

Genres: Romance and Comedy

My Opinion: Honestly, it sucks that so far the Japanese dramas I’ve come across are short. To be honest the storyline of the story isn’t realistic. There is no way you will meet someone on an app and just randomly marry them because you want to get married to anyone… At least I doubt people do something like this but regardless I find the show cute. Honestly, I like both of the main characters together because she was cheeky and he was a tease. They both made a very cute couple and honestly, this is something I would rewatch and recommend to other people. It’s cute.

My Rating: 8/10

Summary: Miura Manatsu is a young office worker who finds himself in a quandary: His mother is suffering from ill-health, and he believes that getting married will be a good way to bring some cheer to her – and help her recovery. Alice in Borderland: Aired: Dec 10, 2020 (8 Episodes) *On Netflix*

Genres: Action, Thriller, Psychological, Supernatural, Mature

My Opinion: I don't know why I didn't know about this show sooner. In the beginning, I am not going to lie the main reason why I watched the show is because Dori Sakurada was in it and THE WAY HE LOOKS IN THIS SHOW IS EVERYTHING. But that's beside the point... Honestly, I don't regret watching it, I am excited to see season 2. This show gave me anxiety and there was a scene that got to me but I can't spoil it so let me keep it vague... If you're interested in watching a drama that involves the survival of the fittest, well this is your show. Honestly, if I was put in a situation like this I don't think I would survive... But before I end this Arisu, Nirgai, Karube, and Chishiya all hit differently...

My rating: 9/10

Kakafukaka: (First Episode:) April 25, 2019 (Last Episode:) June 27, 2019 (10 Episodes)

Genres: Romance, Life, Drama, Mature

My Opinion: WARNING THIS SHOW ISN'T FOR EVERYONE! Like this show is so odd. It had me smiling like a dummy because I was embarrassed for these characters... BUT THIS SHOW WAS ADDICTING. At one point I stayed up later than usual to squeeze 2 episodes in... To be honest at least for me so far this one was one of my favorite Japanese dramas... Even though it was so odd... Like the strangest story plot, I have ever come across, I just wanted to keep watching. I didn't know what to expect and I think that's why I liked it... I don't know about you guys, but I would give this show the benefit of the doubt... If you do watch it, let me know what you think.

Scum's Wish (Kuzu no Honkai): (First Episode:) January 13, 2017 (Last Episode:) March 31, 2017 (12 Episodes)

My Opinion: Okay, this show had me with all types of mentions. Like why on earth did the evil teacher get a happy ending? Do evil people deserve good things? Is this what you're telling me? Listen this might be a little spoiler but that made me highly upset. I'm pretty sure she didn't even learn her lesson so I don't get why she got it so easy. But whatever, let me not get started. I mean the show wasn't bad. I mean I was highly disappointed with the ending but overall I'm just glad that the main characters learned a valuable lesson. The scenes of Dori Sakurada hit differently though I'm not gonna lie... BUT for anyone who decides to watch this, I want to let you know that this show will get you mad. You know how many times I wanted to jump on the screen and punch the teacher... No, I don't condone violence though but you know... yeah... Watch at your own risk.

Summary: Seventeen-year-old Mugi Awaya and Hanabi Yasuraoka appear to be the ideal couple. They are both pretty popular, and they seem to suit each other well. However, outsiders don't know of the secret they share. Both Mugi and Hanabi have hopeless crushes on someone else, and they are only dating each other to soothe their loneliness. Mugi is in love with Akane Minagawa, a young teacher who used to be his home tutor. Hanabi is also in love with a teacher, a young man who has been a family friend since she was little. In each other, they find a place where they can grieve for the ones they cannot have, and they share physical intimacy driven by loneliness. Will things stay like this for them forever?

My Opinion: So now I know where boys over flowers came from. To be honest, if I had to choose between this and boy over flowers, I liked this show a lot more. I think the reason I like this show a lot more better is because the main character is caught up in a love triangle, and although the second love interest had intentions of being with her he valued his friendship a lot more and helped with what he could to have them together. I don't know I feel like the relationship among friendship is a lot more genuine in this one than the Korean one. Don't get me wrong of course there are cringe parts included in this show but I'm here for it. Also, another thing I liked about the show is that the parents of the main character aren't money hungry. Although her parents wanted her to be with Domyoji Tsukasa for his title, they also wanted her to be happy. Like there were just small details that made me enjoy this show a little more than the other. I would say more but I don't want to give away much. . . I RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS.

My opinion: I finished yet another Japanese show. First I would like to say is that this show took me a lot longer to finish that it probably should have but I swear I have a good reason. It's not because it wasn't good, more like there was a point that this show was pissing me off that I had to give it some time off before I could continue. To be honest there was many moments when I wish the situation would have been handled different... but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Like the way the show went I enjoyed it but some parts made me wish things would have happened differently.... Yeah I'm trying hard not to spoil, but you should all still watch it. I watched this show on Netflix.

My Opinion: Okay, I will try my hardest to express how I feel about this show without giving any spoilers… Noticed how I said that I would try… NO PROMISES. If you don't want any spoilers then, to be honest, I wouldn't recommend reading this any longer. But… First I would like to say that I can't lie this show did catch me off guard. Most people that were after the main character was unexpected but then after the show would explain it, you're like damn I should have seen that coming. Oh, one thing that this show kind of disappointed me in is… Well, the person I wanted the main character with… THEY DIDN'T EVEN UP TOGETHER. I mean the bright side is at the end he learns his lesson but damn… that's it? I mean overall the show was good and I totally recommend it.

My Opinion: This show pissed me off more than it probably should have. The plot wasn't bad, but for a short show, it took a while for the two characters to finally accept one another true feelings. I mean cooking is the main idea in this show, but there is still romance included and it lacked it at times. I mean the show was a typical drama. The main character was interested in one character but as soon as she assumed he was hung up on his ex, she caught feelings for someone else. He was an asshole to her but would you look at that… HE LIKED HER TOO. Yes, cliche but sometimes cliche is nice because you know how it ends. LOLOL

My Opinion: When I first started to watch this show I began to wonder to myself why did this storyline look so familiar to me. Then after thinking back it hit me… This is the same storyline as the Kdrama playful kiss. After doing my research I discover of course that they received this storyline from a Manga… Now the question is if I had to choose between both dramas which one would I choose? Well to be fair when I watched the Korean version, it pissed me off how the director made the character so clingy and made it seem like the girl was incapable of doing anything without him by her side. This one has a similar concept but I don't know I caught myself finding her more tolerable… I don't know that's just me tho. The show isn't bad… I mean there were some scenes that I didn't like where she was all about the main character and it's like… I wish she learned to decide for herself and not for a man… SIGH but yeah :)

My Opinion: Before I even started to watch the show, I already had an idea of the story plot. I was recommended by numerous amount of people to watch the anime of this (which I am currently doing) and I even watched the first movie to this. However, as I compare this to the movie it's slightly different from how things turned out. I mean the show wasn't necessarily bad, just personally I wasn't too fond of the main character but that's okay. I can't even lie Kento Yamazaki looks so good playing L… I ain't even mad about that. But I am not going to make this long if you are interested in mystery and "crime" then this is a show for you. There is 0 romance at least genuine romance in this show so if that's what you're looking for… Don't watch the show.

My Opinion: I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed every time I watch a drama I am always hoping to have the main character go to the second lead. I feel like the second lead always tends to show far more interest and put a lot more effort than the first character. BUT ANYWAYS my thoughts on the show? I found it cute. I mean it's not realistic at all, but that's what the dramas are for, to escape reality and live this fantasy life. The main character is adorable, I like how character and how optimistic he always turns out to be. I would for sure recommend this show to watch.

My Opinion: To be honest when it comes to any kind of doctor show I am usually not really up for watching them. I don't know why but they don't ever really catch my attention… But I gave this show the benefit of the doubt because why not? All I have to say is after watching this show I honestly don't regret watching the show. I think it was nice to change up the theme of the show. Most of the time I usually go for romance but this one was different. It was about a talented individual getting looked down upon just because he is autistic. I can't even lie to you all, some of these episodes had me tearing up… I don't know if it's the age that's making me more sensitive or if it's something in the air… BUT I WANT YOU ALL TO TAKE A CHANCE AND WATCH THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT BAD.

I mean this is pretty simple self explanatory show. If you want to watch something that's light hearted and a cute small love story well this is the show for you. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND.

My Opinion: To be honest I noticed when it comes to shows and movies I tend to be biased and go for plots that include romance. So before watching this show, I had my doubts that I wasn't going to enjoy this series just because the plot was different from what I am accustomed to. But believe it or not, I actually enjoyed this series very much. I like the determination and the way that friendship is greatly emphasized in this series. If you are interested in any shows that include the concept of friendship, video games, and the world of business I would certainly recommend this show. Or if you are someone who wants to change your horizons I would also recommend this show.

My Opinion: Listen I know it took me a while to write a review on Alice in Borderland season 2. When I heard that season 2 was coming out I was so hyped up just because this is one of my favorite Japanese dramas. However, my hectic schedule didn't allow me to get to the show but here we are. Usually, when shows come back with another season this is where it started to flop. However, believe it or not, the show continued on the right path. There were many more challenges being shown, and a lot of scenes that had me on the edge of my seat… AND A WHOLE COASTER RIDE OF emotions. I heard that there is supposed to be a season 3… How? I have no idea… The ending left me rather confused. I know I kept the review vague but I don't want to give any kind of spoiler.

My Opinion: This show was bittersweet. I will try my hardest not to give much of a spoiler alert, but you have two characters who are head over heels for one another. Next thing you know the male lead unfortunately passes away and you get left wondering how what happened. Then out of the blue a few years later the main lead comes to life and everyone wonders how this happened. I guess the only thing I wasn't too fond of is how LONG IT TOOK FOR THE CONFESSION TO HAPPEN. This girl has been waiting for this man to confess his true feelings about her but he waited until the very last moment to do so. Like my guy, what are you doing? But let me stop talking before I say too much. It's a cute show tho… If you want a cute simple show check it out.

My Opinion: This show was very interesting. The main character no longer wants to be a virgin so he brings a spirit to be his girlfriend and later finds out that she is a "demon." This show was very comical and it was entertaining to watch. To be honest I don't have much of an opinion for this show besides it's something I would watch once and keep it pushing. It's not that the show was bad or anything but I feel like the show had a lot more potential. The show felt rushed and the storyline felt kind of too simple for my liking. I don't know I just felt like there was something missing but I can't seem to wrap my finger around it.

My Opinion: To be honest this show gave me very mixed signals. It went from a twisted love triangle, into two sisters resenting one another to all of a sudden both of them growing some kind of hatred towards their mother. I think this show gives a very clear picture of what TRAUMA looks like. I remember reading a post one time saying that although you may live in the same household as your sibling, that doesn't mean you have the same kind of life. Throughout this show, you get an inside look at how their upbringing turned out to be and it kind of explains why they act the way they do. To be honest the show was very interesting in the beginning but then I began to lose my interest towards the ending. It just felt like a dead end and it just felt like there was really no purpose to create this show to begin with. Eh, I guess you can say I was kind of disappointed. So in other words watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: To be honest, I have mixed feelings about this drama. I will try my hardest not to give any spoilers, but it will be hard to do so. All I know is I am kind of satisfied with the ending. You know the saying You reap what you sow? Yeah, it fits this show very well... You have a character who took advantage of the love he had right in front of him, and as soon as it was slipping through his fingers, he suddenly wanted to put the effort? Like sir, you even got me messed up. I did get mad at the female character because she made herself so unhappy just to keep him around.... Man, there were times I wanted to go into the screen and smack her to snap her out of it, are crazy... Alright, let me stop before I give too much away... Show wasn't horrible, its a show that you can binge-watch once and then move on with your life lol.

Your sister's voice rang out the moment she saw you, but all you did was stare her down, eyes still half-lidded with sleep.

First, you had just woken up. And if there was one universal rule that everyone should know by now, it was this: do not talk to you right after you wake up. It’s like an unspoken survival instinct—because, for some reason, every single morning, you wake up feeling like the grumpiest person alive.

And now, here she was, demanding answers before you even had time to process your own existence. Just hearing her voice sent a wave of irritation through you. It wasn’t personal. It was just mornings.

Without saying much to your sister, you removed your blanket, dragged your body off bed walked past your sister, and straight into the bathroom.

Right now, all you want to do is wake up and get yourself together. If your sister has questions, she will have to wait and ask later when you are fully awake and aware of what planet you are on.

“Y/N,” you felt your sister following right behind you... She was going to keep talking to you until you responded... In other words, she was probably going to ask you so many questions until you tell her to get lost...

You got to the bathroom and walked right in closing the door. Just as you were hoping your sister would leave you alone, she suddenly began to knock on the door.

“I won’t leave until you start speaking.” You knew you had to explain this to your parents, but when did your sister become one?

You rolled your eyes and grabbed your toothbrush.

Getting ready was much calmer than the chaos of waking up—at least at first. For a moment, you enjoyed the silence, the slow transition from sleep to full consciousness.

But, of course, that peace didn’t last long. The second you stepped out of your room, your sister was right there, waiting like a predator ready to pounce. Without missing a beat, she launched into an endless string of questions, bombarding you before you even had a chance to take a proper breath.

So much for a peaceful morning.

“Where did you go yesterday? How can you possibly leave me?” These questions were repeated over and over. Enough was enough.

“OKAY! First, you're not my parent to ask me where I have been so get off my back. Second, why does it matter where I went? You got home safe and sound and that’s all that matters,” you were going to keep beating around the bush just so you don’t have to explain that you met SF9... Your sister's obsession.

If she found out that you even encountered SF9 you could only imagine how her reaction would be.

“I know I’m not your parent and I’m glad I’m not, but I have every right to know where you went last night especially since you practically left me back there abandoned,” you sometimes tend to forget that your sister can be beyond dramatic.

“Oh, come on, it’s not a big deal... I was not going to wait outside forever for you to see your husbands live. What did you expect me to do? Stand outside and stay there for hours? Of course, not so I went out and explored,” you did technically wait outside throughout the whole concert, but your sister doesn’t need to know that.

“You couldn’t come back and meet me when the concert ended,” your sister continued to ask you questions and instead of answering you just walked off and left your sister to talk alone.

You had no idea how this kept happening, but somehow, every time you tried to enjoy some time alone… you ended up stuck with your annoying sister. Again.

This time, it was the beach. She had been dying to go, and of course, she wasn’t about to go without dragging you along. And now, here you were—trapped, reluctantly tagging along, forced into a beach day you never asked for.

The waves crashed against the shore, the sun beamed down, and people laughed in the distance. But all you could think about was how you had been kidnapped into yet another unwanted adventure with your sister.

“This time you better not go and disappear,” she doesn’t have to worry about that this time... You weren’t planning to meet any new people anytime soon.

You popped open the trunk, grabbing your bag and a chair, already dreading the effort ahead. With a sigh, you glanced over at your sister, hoping—praying—that she would help unload the rest.

But no. There she was, striking pose after pose, tilting her phone at different angles, caught up in a selfie session.

How were you two even related?

"So… how about some help here?" you asked, giving her a pointed look.

She met your gaze for all of two seconds, then—without a word—went right back to taking pictures.

Wow. Just wow.

You had two choices: be the bigger person and unload everything yourself or embrace the pettiness brewing inside you and take only your things, leaving her to deal with her own mess.

It wasn’t a hard decision.

With one last glance at your sister—who was still lost in her own little world—you grabbed your things, turned on your heel, and walked away. She probably wouldn’t even notice. Typical.

You glanced over your shoulder just in time to see your sister struggling to catch up, her arms overloaded with stuff. And just like that—whoops—something tumbled from her grasp, forcing her to stop and pick it up.

A smirk tugged at your lips. Karma.

Instead of offering to help, you simply turned back around and kept walking, enjoying the sweet satisfaction of her struggle.

By the time you found the perfect spot, you dropped your bag, immediately pulling out your towel and laying it down. The sun felt warm against your skin, the sound of the waves was relaxing—everything was finally falling into place.

"Y/N!"

There it was again—her voice, growing more impatient. But instead of acknowledging her, you carried on, adjusting your spot and making yourself comfortable, completely unbothered.

Eventually, she stomped up beside you, clearly out of breath and annoyed.

"Are you deaf?" she snapped.

You turned to her, flashing your widest, most innocent grin. "Nope, I heard you. I just chose to ignore you."

She groaned, rolling her eyes so hard you thought they might get stuck. "I need a new sister."

You simply leaned back on your towel, grinning to yourself. Too bad. She’s stuck with you.

Youngbin’s Point of View

After a long day of lying to the manager and somehow managing to sneak a girl back home who happened to not be a fan—we had pulled off more than we probably should have.

Surprisingly, we got away with it.

Since we had two concerts here in LA, plus a music video shoot coming up, the manager gave us some free time to go out and explore.

Honestly, I’m shocked he even let us leave the hotel room. But hey, I’m not about to complain.

“You know what I’m surprised about,” Jaeyoon says, looking at all of us as we walk into a beautiful beach.

“What?” I asked and before Jaeyoon could speak Sanghyuk interrupted and made a joke... As usual.

“That there is a handsome guy like me on the beach? I know...” The boys all gave him a glare and he just smiled.

“No, I’m surprised that we’re out in the free... With no manager...” Jaeyoon says and that’s when I suddenly felt the guys staring right at me and waiting for me to speak.

“What’s the catch?” Juho asks, crossing his arms and I instantly shake my head.

"Where are you even going?" you asked, watching as your sister stayed glued to her phone, chatting away on FaceTime with her best friend.

First of all,... what? Does that even make sense?

You never bothered listening to her conversations because, frankly, they were never interesting. It was always the same topic—boys, boys, and, oh yeah, more boys.

Rolling your eyes, you turned your attention back to your book, ready to finally get some peace. You settled in, eyes scanning the page, sinking into the story until…

“WAIT FOR ME!”

“YAH, you’re taking too long!”

“Sanghyuk, did you put on sunscreen?!”

“No, because I don’t need it”

You tried to focus on your book, to lose yourself in the words, but all you could hear was complete and utter chaos.

First of all… why was the beach suddenly so loud? Just a few seconds ago, it had been peaceful calm, even. Now, it was as if the entire world had decided to erupt into noise all at once.

"Aigoo, Chanhee, you’re too young to understand," someone nearby called out, their voice barely rising over the commotion.

The noise wasn’t dying down. If anything, it was getting worse. With a sigh, you finally snapped your book shut and lifted your gaze, scanning the beach to find the source of the disruption.

That’s when you saw them.

A group of nine guys, scattered across two spots—some near the ocean, others closer to where you sat. They were laughing, yelling, running around like kids who had just been let loose. And they were loud. So loud that any hope of finishing your book in peace had officially disappeared.

You were about to roll your eyes and look away—until suddenly, your breath hitched.

Your body froze as realization hit you like a wave. You knew exactly who they were.

You froze for a moment, the realization slowly sinking in.

Without a second thought, you quickly glanced around, hoping to spot your sister. Please, not now… You prayed she wasn’t anywhere nearby. If she saw these guys, there was no telling what kind of chaos would unfold. Your sister would forget every ounce of dignity she had and lose it—you didn’t even want to think about it.

You couldn’t explain why, but you knew you had to do something. You couldn’t just sit there and let this moment slip away.

Without another word, you stood up, grabbed your stuff, and—strangely enough—found yourself walking straight toward them.

Before you could get any closer, one of them spotted you.

"Youngbin, isn’t that the girl from last night?" one of the guys called out.

Instead of answering, Youngbin’s eyes locked onto yours, his expression unreadable.

"I think it is," Youngbin said, his voice low but clear.

And just like that, you were standing right in front of him, feeling a strange tension in the air.

"So… we meet again," you said, your voice steady as you locked eyes with him. But then, from the corner of your eye, you noticed another familiar face.

What’s his name again? Youngkyun... Whatever his name was, you felt his eyes glued to you.

"Are you sure you’re not a fan? Are you sure you didn’t follow us?" The deep voice cut through the air, and you turned to find one of the guys staring you down. You still hadn’t figured out their names, but you’d remember his voice—it had that rich, almost commanding tone.

Okay, yes, this was looking bad. All of you just happened to run into each other again, but this time, it wasn’t because you were some overzealous fans. You hadn’t come to the beach to see them at all—your sister practically dragged you here.

How were you supposed to know they were planning on coming to the same beach at you?

"No, for the millionth time, I’m not a fan," you said, annoyed that they weren’t listening to the words that were coming out of your mouth. You were pretty sure no matter how many times you told these guys that, they would never, ever believe you.

He raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it.

"Then what brings you here?" Youngbin’s voice was calm, but there was an intensity in his gaze that made you feel like all of them were silently waiting for your answer.

You took a deep breath, trying to stay composed despite the growing tension.

"Look," you started, your voice firm, "I was here on the beach before any of you showed up and disturbed my peace and quiet." You gestured vaguely toward the chaotic group. "But that’s not the point. The point is, I came here with my younger sister, and if I were you, I’d leave before she finds you all."

You were trying to be nice, trying to warn them before something chaotic happened. But at this point, you weren’t sure if they’d take your advice—or if your sister would just explode when she found them.

You love your sister and all, but you know how she is, and you don’t think you'll be able to calm her down the moment she lays her eye on them... To be honest, just thinking about the possibilities are scary and very risky.

“Where is she?” Youngbin asks, looking over to where you were sitting.

"She went back to the car to talk to her friend over the phone. It’ll take a couple of hours, but if she sees you guys, she will chase you down without a doubt," you explained, watching as Youngbin looked at Youngkyun. The two exchanged a glance before bursting into laughter.

Okay, what was so funny?

"What?" you asked, confused by their sudden amusement.

One of the guys turned to you, flashing a grin.

"Look, I know you probably came over to become friends, but if you wanted to hang out, all you had to do was ask, “Jaeyoon said casually, throwing an arm over your shoulder.

Wait. What?

Did they seriously think you were lying? And here you were, trying to help them avoid the chaos that was about to unfold, and now they were acting like you were the one who had come to bother them?

You bit back a sigh, a small smile forming on your lips, though it didn’t quite reach your eyes.

"You’re right..." you said, keeping your tone light. "I’m sorry to bother you boys. You all enjoy your day."

With that, you gently removed Jaeyoon’s arm from your shoulder, stepping back and walking away.

If they didn’t want to believe you, fine. But at least you could leave knowing you’d tried to warn them.

You headed back to your towel, your mind already made up. You laid down, opened your book, and let yourself drift back into the story, choosing to ignore the chaos behind you.

She let out a deep sigh. "No, my best friend just went through a really bad breakup, and she was t—"

Silence.

Your brows furrowed as you finally looked up at her. Wait. Why did she stop talking?

One glance at her face, and you already knew. That look—the wide eyes, the frozen expression, the way she seemed on the verge of imploding.

Oh no. She saw them.

SF9. Just now.

"Y/N… Y/N… P-please, tell me I’m not dreaming," she whispered, her voice trembling with excitement.

You sighed, sitting up and casually glancing over at the group of boys running into the ocean like overgrown children, laughing without a care in the world.

"Stop. Don’t even th—" But before you could finish your sentence—

"KANG CHANHEE!!"

Her scream pierced through the air like a siren, echoing across the beach.

Every single one of the boys froze. Heads turned. Eyes locked onto your spot.

Well. This was happening.

You could step in and try to tame your sister, help those guys escape the chaos that was about to unfold…

But then again… they didn’t believe you earlier. And now?

Now, they were about to suffer the consequences.

Sucks for them.

With a smirk, you leaned back against your towel, flipping open your book once again.

Silently you grabbed your book and laid back down. Your sister was running to the boys and instead of watching all of this happen, you decided to mind your business.

“CHANHHE!!” You tried to read but you were pretty sure you heard your sister scream.

Oh, these boys...

You glanced over to see the mess that was being made and you saw how the guys looked so petrified. They were all running in different directions, but your sister was mostly aiming for Chanhee...

Something inside of you felt like you needed to do something, but you continued to think back at how the boys treated you... Did they really need your help?

One side of you was telling you to mind your business and carry on with what you’re doing but the other side said something completely different... It was telling you to get up and go control your sister and if you can’t do that then go find a way to help them.

As you hesitated a bit you closed your book and sighed.

Why are you even bothering to help?

You sat up and slowly got up on your two feet. Your sister was out of control. She had her phone out grabbing on the boys trying to take pictures with them by invading their personal space.

Aish... As you were walking closer to your sister suddenly the situation became more chaotic than you thought...

Just when you thought you had to help these boys control your sister, you suddenly noticed more teen girls approach the boys. Oh wow...

This whole situation was about to turn worse than it was just a few seconds ago.

They were now crowded by young teen girls hovering over them asking them for pictures and attention. Wow... Do you even want to go and help now?

Probably not... But even though you didn’t want to, you knew you had to.

What can you possibly do to keep these girls distracted... You silently stood there thinking and thinking... Okay, now you have to reflect on the conversation you have had with your sister...

What group did your sister mention that she liked besides SF9... As you tried to gather your thoughts you suddenly remembered a group and decided to take a risk.

Shit if only you paid attention to your sister more you wouldn’t be struggling over here... You thought over and over and as you began to reflect you suddenly remembered a group that has been talked about a lot...

What is that damn’s group name.. RIGHT!

“Oh my god is that BTS!” You shouted and you looked around and pointed to a random group of guys.

As soon as the fangirls heard BTS, everyone looked over at you and then at the direction that you were pointing. They all ran over to the random group of guys and without thinking twice even your sister ran which was quite a shocker. However, instead of standing there and thinking about what just happened you grabbed your things and ran over to the boys.

They were all gathering their things getting ready to escape. As soon as you approached them they looked startled and then calmed down a bit when they saw it was you.

“I have no idea why I am even doing this but... I am going to help you all out of here before those girls realize BTS is not here,” you said looking at them, and then Inseong spoke up.

“I don’t know about the boys, but I will apologize on my behalf for not believing you,” Inseong speaks up and says looking right at you. To be honest you were shocked to hear such words from any of the boys.

“Look... We can talk about this another time or not, but if you don’t want to continue getting mobbed I suggest we all try to escape.” You have no idea how on earth you were going to escape with all of them...

Maybe you should have thought of a plan before trying to help them out...

“Uh... I’ll think of something just to follow me,” you said looking at the boys they looked unsure but as they took one look over at the group of fangirls they didn't hesitate after that.

As you all were speed-walking away from the beach, you pulled out your phone and quickly asked for an Uber.

Right now you need to help these boys all escape... You were hoping it was big enough for all of them... As I looked at your phone you noticed that you had to wait 5 minutes... Holy shit, there is not enough time to just stand here and wait...

You looked around and spotted a random woman smoking outside her car...

What the hell are you even thinking...

Desperate times call for desperate measures...

“Excuse me!” You walked over to the lady, and you could feel the boys following behind you.

“Um... Can I help you?” She asks confusedly as she drops her cigarette to the ground.

Shit... This was extremely risky to ask but you were willing to ask regardless...

“Look I know this is stupid of me to ask but I am willing to take the chance to ask you if I can borrow your car right now... it’s urgent,” you said looking at the lady and you continued to stare at her waiting for her to say something or do something but all she continued to do was stare at you.

“You want to borrow my car?” She asks basically repeating what you just asked.

“Yes...” It’s too late now to back away from this conversation.

“Um...” she looked behind you and noticed all 9 standing right there. The both of you looked over at her car and she began to hesitate.

This was such a bad idea...

“Look I’m sorry it was s-” Before you could finish with your train of thought she cuts you off.

“Sure why not, just as long as you bring it back later. I’m about to meet up with some friends and I’m probably about to drink so I’ll give you my address and you can drop it off tomorrow,” she pulled out her phone and you looked at her completely shocked.

What?

That really worked?!

She gave you her address and before you knew it you made all the boys go into the minivan. Although not all of them were able to fit, they had no choice but to sit on each other's laps.

You ran over to the driver's seat and in a matter of seconds, you were off driving far as away as you could.

Why is it that every time you bump into SF9 something crazy happens... You have a strange feeling about them...

My Opinion: Okay... I am not going to lie I would first like to say that the storyline of this show is very 2 dimensional. Everything was rushed and unrealistic... Honestly, this show might not be for everyone. The reason why I continued to watch this show in the first place is because the main character is insanely good looking I mean look above. And the second reason is that the characters aren't like k-dramas where they are afraid to even hug. They display way more PDA... It's not like they took episode 10 to share a kiss... I mean if anything this show was straightforward and dived right in with no warning... But I just feel like the storyline was so rushed and it sucks but it's okay. I watched it and I don't regret it to be honest. Just watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: Honestly, it sucks that so far the Japanese dramas I’ve come across are short. To be honest the storyline of the story isn’t realistic. There is no way you will meet someone on an app and just randomly marry them because you want to get married to anyone… At least I doubt people do something like this but regardless I find the show cute. Honestly, I like both of the main characters together because she was cheeky and he was a tease. They both made a very cute couple and honestly, this is something I would rewatch and recommend to other people. It’s cute.

My Rating: 8/10

My Opinion: I don't know why I didn't know about this show sooner. In the beginning, I am not going to lie the main reason why I watched the show is because Dori Sakurada was in it and THE WAY HE LOOKS IN THIS SHOW IS EVERYTHING. But that's beside the point... Honestly, I don't regret watching it, I am excited to see season 2. This show gave me anxiety and there was a scene that got to me but I can't spoil it so let me keep it vague... If you're interested in watching a drama that involves the survival of the fittest, well this is your show. Honestly, if I was put in a situation like this I don't think I would survive... But before I end this Arisu, Nirgai, Karube, and Chishiya all hit differently...

My rating: 9/10

My Opinion: WARNING THIS SHOW ISN'T FOR EVERYONE! Like this show is so odd. It had me smiling like a dummy because I was embarrassed for these characters... BUT THIS SHOW WAS ADDICTING. At one point I stayed up later than usual to squeeze 2 episodes in... To be honest at least for me so far this one was one of my favorite Japanese dramas... Even though it was so odd... Like the strangest story plot, I have ever come across, I just wanted to keep watching. I didn't know what to expect and I think that's why I liked it... I don't know about you guys, but I would give this show the benefit of the doubt... If you do watch it, let me know what you think.

My Opinion: Okay, this show had me with all types of mentions. Like why on earth did the evil teacher get a happy ending? Do evil people deserve good things? Is this what you're telling me? Listen this might be a little spoiler but that made me highly upset. I'm pretty sure she didn't even learn her lesson so I don't get why she got it so easy. But whatever, let me not get started. I mean the show wasn't bad. I mean I was highly disappointed with the ending but overall I'm just glad that the main characters learned a valuable lesson. The scenes of Dori Sakurada hit differently though I'm not gonna lie... BUT for anyone who decides to watch this, I want to let you know that this show will get you mad. You know how many times I wanted to jump on the screen and punch the teacher... No, I don't condone violence though but you know... yeah... Watch at your own risk.

I think the reason I like this show a lot more better is because the main character is caught up in a love triangle, and although the second love interest had intentions of being with her he valued his friendship a lot more and helped with what he could to have them together. I don't know I feel like the relationship among friendship is a lot more genuine in this one than the Korean one. Don't get me wrong of course there are cringe parts included in this show but I'm here for it. Also, another thing I liked about the show is that the parents of the main character aren't money hungry. Although her parents wanted her to be with Domyoji Tsukasa for his title, they also wanted her to be happy. Like there were just small details that made me enjoy this show a little more than the other. I would say more but I don't want to give away much. . . I RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS.

My opinion: I finished yet another Japanese show. First I would like to say is that this show took me a lot longer to finish that it probably should have but I swear I have a good reason. It's not because it wasn't good, more like there was a point that this show was pissing me off that I had to give it some time off before I could continue. To be honest there was many moments when I wish the situation would have been handled different... but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Like the way the show went I enjoyed it but some parts made me wish things would have happened differently.... Yeah I'm trying hard not to spoil, but you should all still watch it. I watched this show on Netflix.

My Opinion: Okay, I will try my hardest to express how I feel about this show without giving any spoilers… Noticed how I said that I would try… NO PROMISES. If you don't want any spoilers then, to be honest, I wouldn't recommend reading this any longer. But… First I would like to say that I can't lie this show did catch me off guard. Most people that were after the main character was unexpected but then after the show would explain it, you're like damn I should have seen that coming. Oh, one thing that this show kind of disappointed me in is… Well, the person I wanted the main character with… THEY DIDN'T EVEN UP TOGETHER. I mean the bright side is at the end he learns his lesson but damn… that's it? I mean overall the show was good and I totally recommend it.

My Opinion: This show pissed me off more than it probably should have. The plot wasn't bad, but for a short show, it took a while for the two characters to finally accept one another true feelings. I mean cooking is the main idea in this show, but there is still romance included and it lacked it at times. I mean the show was a typical drama. The main character was interested in one character but as soon as she assumed he was hung up on his ex, she caught feelings for someone else. He was an asshole to her but would you look at that… HE LIKED HER TOO. Yes, cliche but sometimes cliche is nice because you know how it ends. LOLOL

My Opinion: When I first started to watch this show I began to wonder to myself why did this storyline look so familiar to me. Then after thinking back it hit me… This is the same storyline as the Kdrama playful kiss. After doing my research I discover of course that they received this storyline from a Manga… Now the question is if I had to choose between both dramas which one would I choose? Well to be fair when I watched the Korean version, it pissed me off how the director made the character so clingy and made it seem like the girl was incapable of doing anything without him by her side. This one has a similar concept but I don't know I caught myself finding her more tolerable… I don't know that's just me tho. The show isn't bad… I mean there were some scenes that I didn't like where she was all about the main character and it's like… I wish she learned to decide for herself and not for a man… SIGH but yeah :)

My Opinion: Before I even started to watch the show, I already had an idea of the story plot. I was recommended by numerous amount of people to watch the anime of this (which I am currently doing) and I even watched the first movie to this. However, as I compare this to the movie it's slightly different from how things turned out. I mean the show wasn't necessarily bad, just personally I wasn't too fond of the main character but that's okay. I can't even lie Kento Yamazaki looks so good playing L… I ain't even mad about that. But I am not going to make this long if you are interested in mystery and "crime" then this is a show for you. There is 0 romance at least genuine romance in this show so if that's what you're looking for… Don't watch the show.

My Opinion: I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed every time I watch a drama I am always hoping to have the main character go to the second lead. I feel like the second lead always tends to show far more interest and put a lot more effort than the first character. BUT ANYWAYS my thoughts on the show? I found it cute. I mean it's not realistic at all, but that's what the dramas are for, to escape reality and live this fantasy life. The main character is adorable, I like how character and how optimistic he always turns out to be. I would for sure recommend this show to watch.

My Opinion: To be honest when it comes to any kind of doctor show I am usually not really up for watching them. I don't know why but they don't ever really catch my attention… But I gave this show the benefit of the doubt because why not? All I have to say is after watching this show I honestly don't regret watching the show. I think it was nice to change up the theme of the show. Most of the time I usually go for romance but this one was different. It was about a talented individual getting looked down upon just because he is autistic. I can't even lie to you all, some of these episodes had me tearing up… I don't know if it's the age that's making me more sensitive or if it's something in the air… BUT I WANT YOU ALL TO TAKE A CHANCE AND WATCH THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT BAD.

I mean this is pretty simple self explanatory show. If you want to watch something that's light hearted and a cute small love story well this is the show for you. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND.

My Opinion: To be honest I noticed when it comes to shows and movies I tend to be biased and go for plots that include romance. So before watching this show, I had my doubts that I wasn't going to enjoy this series just because the plot was different from what I am accustomed to. But believe it or not, I actually enjoyed this series very much. I like the determination and the way that friendship is greatly emphasized in this series. If you are interested in any shows that include the concept of friendship, video games, and the world of business I would certainly recommend this show. Or if you are someone who wants to change your horizons I would also recommend this show.

My Opinion: Listen I know it took me a while to write a review on Alice in Borderland season 2. When I heard that season 2 was coming out I was so hyped up just because this is one of my favorite Japanese dramas. However, my hectic schedule didn't allow me to get to the show but here we are. Usually, when shows come back with another season this is where it started to flop. However, believe it or not, the show continued on the right path. There were many more challenges being shown, and a lot of scenes that had me on the edge of my seat… AND A WHOLE COASTER RIDE OF emotions. I heard that there is supposed to be a season 3… How? I have no idea… The ending left me rather confused. I know I kept the review vague but I don't want to give any kind of spoiler.

My Opinion: This show was bittersweet. I will try my hardest not to give much of a spoiler alert, but you have two characters who are head over heels for one another. Next thing you know the male lead unfortunately passes away and you get left wondering how what happened. Then out of the blue a few years later the main lead comes to life and everyone wonders how this happened. I guess the only thing I wasn't too fond of is how LONG IT TOOK FOR THE CONFESSION TO HAPPEN. This girl has been waiting for this man to confess his true feelings about her but he waited until the very last moment to do so. Like my guy, what are you doing? But let me stop talking before I say too much. It's a cute show tho… If you want a cute simple show check it out.

My Opinion: This show was very interesting. The main character no longer wants to be a virgin so he brings a spirit to be his girlfriend and later finds out that she is a "demon." This show was very comical and it was entertaining to watch. To be honest I don't have much of an opinion for this show besides it's something I would watch once and keep it pushing. It's not that the show was bad or anything but I feel like the show had a lot more potential. The show felt rushed and the storyline felt kind of too simple for my liking. I don't know I just felt like there was something missing but I can't seem to wrap my finger around it. 

My ratings: 6.5/10

My Opinion: To be honest this show gave me very mixed signals. It went from a twisted love triangle, into two sisters resenting one another to all of a sudden both of them growing some kind of hatred towards their mother. I think this show gives a very clear picture of what TRAUMA looks like. I remember reading a post one time saying that although you may live in the same household as your sibling, that doesn't mean you have the same kind of life. Throughout this show, you get an inside look at how their upbringing turned out to be and it kind of explains why they act the way they do. To be honest the show was very interesting in the beginning but then I began to lose my interest towards the ending. It just felt like a dead end and it just felt like there was really no purpose to create this show to begin with. Eh, I guess you can say I was kind of disappointed. So in other words watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: Okay... I am not going to lie I would first like to say that the storyline of this show is very 2 dimensional. Everything was rushed and unrealistic... Honestly, this show might not be for everyone. The reason why I continued to watch this show in the first place is because the main character is insanely good looking I mean look above. And the second reason is that the characters aren't like k-dramas where they are afraid to even hug. They display way more PDA... It's not like they took episode 10 to share a kiss... I mean if anything this show was straightforward and dived right in with no warning... But I just feel like the storyline was so rushed and it sucks but it's okay. I watched it and I don't regret it to be honest. Just watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: Honestly, it sucks that so far the Japanese dramas I’ve come across are short. To be honest the storyline of the story isn’t realistic. There is no way you will meet someone on an app and just randomly marry them because you want to get married to anyone… At least I doubt people do something like this but regardless I find the show cute. Honestly, I like both of the main characters together because she was cheeky and he was a tease. They both made a very cute couple and honestly, this is something I would rewatch and recommend to other people. It’s cute.

My Opinion: I don't know why I didn't know about this show sooner. In the beginning, I am not going to lie the main reason why I watched the show is because Dori Sakurada was in it and THE WAY HE LOOKS IN THIS SHOW IS EVERYTHING. But that's beside the point... Honestly, I don't regret watching it, I am excited to see season 2. This show gave me anxiety and there was a scene that got to me but I can't spoil it so let me keep it vague... If you're interested in watching a drama that involves the survival of the fittest, well this is your show. Honestly, if I was put in a situation like this I don't think I would survive... But before I end this Arisu, Nirgai, Karube, and Chishiya all hit differently...

My Opinion: WARNING THIS SHOW ISN'T FOR EVERYONE! Like this show is so odd. It had me smiling like a dummy because I was embarrassed for these characters... BUT THIS SHOW WAS ADDICTING. At one point I stayed up later than usual to squeeze 2 episodes in... To be honest at least for me so far this one was one of my favorite Japanese dramas... Even though it was so odd... Like the strangest story plot, I have ever come across, I just wanted to keep watching. I didn't know what to expect and I think that's why I liked it... I don't know about you guys, but I would give this show the benefit of the doubt... If you do watch it, let me know what you think.

My Opinion: Okay, this show had me with all types of mentions. Like why on earth did the evil teacher get a happy ending? Do evil people deserve good things? Is this what you're telling me? Listen this might be a little spoiler but that made me highly upset. I'm pretty sure she didn't even learn her lesson so I don't get why she got it so easy. But whatever, let me not get started. I mean the show wasn't bad. I mean I was highly disappointed with the ending but overall I'm just glad that the main characters learned a valuable lesson. The scenes of Dori Sakurada hit differently though I'm not gonna lie... BUT for anyone who decides to watch this, I want to let you know that this show will get you mad. You know how many times I wanted to jump on the screen and punch the teacher... No, I don't condone violence though but you know... yeah... Watch at your own risk.

Although her parents wanted her to be with Domyoji Tsukasa for his title, they also wanted her to be happy. Like there were just small details that made me enjoy this show a little more than the other. I would say more but I don't want to give away much. . . I RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS.

Summary: Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, a school for the ridiculously rich and privileged. My opinion: I finished yet another Japanese show. First I would like to say is that this show took me a lot longer to finish that it probably should have but I swear I have a good reason. It's not because it wasn't good, more like there was a point that this show was pissing me off that I had to give it some time off before I could continue. To be honest there was many moments when I wish the situation would have been handled different... but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Like the way the show went I enjoyed it but some parts made me wish things would have happened differently.... Yeah I'm trying hard not to spoil, but you should all still watch it. I watched this show on Netflix.

Summary: Yoshikawa Nao stays behind to live by herself when her parents leave to inherit her grandpa's farm in the country. My Opinion: Okay, I will try my hardest to express how I feel about this show without giving any spoilers… Noticed how I said that I would try… NO PROMISES. If you don't want any spoilers then, to be honest, I wouldn't recommend reading this any longer. But… First I would like to say that I can't lie this show did catch me off guard. Most people that were after the main character was unexpected but then after the show would explain it, you're like damn I should have seen that coming. Oh, one thing that this show kind of disappointed me in is… Well, the person I wanted the main character with… THEY DIDN'T EVEN UP TOGETHER. I mean the bright side is at the end he learns his lesson but damn… that's it? I mean overall the show was good and I totally recommend it.

My Opinion: This show pissed me off more than it probably should have. The plot wasn't bad, but for a short show, it took a while for the two characters to finally accept one another true feelings. I mean cooking is the main idea in this show, but there is still romance included and it lacked it at times. I mean the show was a typical drama. The main character was interested in one character but as soon as she assumed he was hung up on his ex, she caught feelings for someone else. He was an asshole to her but would you look at that… HE LIKED HER TOO. Yes, cliche but sometimes cliche is nice because you know how it ends. LOLOL

My Opinion: When I first started to watch this show I began to wonder to myself why did this storyline look so familiar to me. Then after thinking back it hit me… This is the same storyline as the Kdrama playful kiss. After doing my research I discover of course that they received this storyline from a Manga… Now the question is if I had to choose between both dramas which one would I choose? Well to be fair when I watched the Korean version, it pissed me off how the director made the character so clingy and made it seem like the girl was incapable of doing anything without him by her side. This one has a similar concept but I don't know I caught myself finding her more tolerable… I don't know that's just me tho. The show isn't bad… I mean there were some scenes that I didn't like where she was all about the main character and it's like… I wish she learned to decide for herself and not for a man… SIGH but yeah :)

My Opinion: Before I even started to watch the show, I already had an idea of the story plot. I was recommended by numerous amount of people to watch the anime of this (which I am currently doing) and I even watched the first movie to this. However, as I compare this to the movie it's slightly different from how things turned out. I mean the show wasn't necessarily bad, just personally I wasn't too fond of the main character but that's okay. I can't even lie Kento Yamazaki looks so good playing L… I ain't even mad about that. But I am not going to make this long if you are interested in mystery and "crime" then this is a show for you. There is 0 romance at least genuine romance in this show so if that's what you're looking for… Don't watch the show.

My Opinion: I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed every time I watch a drama I am always hoping to have the main character go to the second lead. I feel like the second lead always tends to show far more interest and put a lot more effort than the first character. BUT ANYWAYS my thoughts on the show? I found it cute. I mean it's not realistic at all, but that's what the dramas are for, to escape reality and live this fantasy life. The main character is adorable, I like how character and how optimistic he always turns out to be. I would for sure recommend this show to watch.

But, as Nami Suzuki watches her boss deal with her job, Nami begins to change her attitude toward her work.

My Opinion: To be honest when it comes to any kind of doctor show I am usually not really up for watching them. I don't know why but they don't ever really catch my attention… But I gave this show the benefit of the doubt because why not? All I have to say is after watching this show I honestly don't regret watching the show. I think it was nice to change up the theme of the show. Most of the time I usually go for romance but this one was different. It was about a talented individual getting looked down upon just because he is autistic. I can't even lie to you all, some of these episodes had me tearing up… I don't know if it's the age that's making me more sensitive or if it's something in the air… BUT I WANT YOU ALL TO TAKE A CHANCE AND WATCH THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT BAD.

I mean this is pretty simple self explanatory show. If you want to watch something that's light hearted and a cute small love story well this is the show for you. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND.

My Opinion: To be honest I noticed when it comes to shows and movies I tend to be biased and go for plots that include romance. So before watching this show, I had my doubts that I wasn't going to enjoy this series just because the plot was different from what I am accustomed to. But believe it or not, I actually enjoyed this series very much. I like the determination and the way that friendship is greatly emphasized in this series. If you are interested in any shows that include the concept of friendship, video games, and the world of business I would certainly recommend this show. Or if you are someone who wants to change your horizons I would also recommend this show.

My Opinion: Listen I know it took me a while to write a review on Alice in Borderland season 2. When I heard that season 2 was coming out I was so hyped up just because this is one of my favorite Japanese dramas. However, my hectic schedule didn't allow me to get to the show but here we are. Usually, when shows come back with another season this is where it started to flop. However, believe it or not, the show continued on the right path. There were many more challenges being shown, and a lot of scenes that had me on the edge of my seat… AND A WHOLE COASTER RIDE OF emotions. I heard that there is supposed to be a season 3… How? I have no idea… The ending left me rather confused. I know I kept the review vague but I don't want to give any kind of spoiler.

My Opinion: This show was bittersweet. I will try my hardest not to give much of a spoiler alert, but you have two characters who are head over heels for one another. Next thing you know the male lead unfortunately passes away and you get left wondering how what happened. Then out of the blue a few years later the main lead comes to life and everyone wonders how this happened. I guess the only thing I wasn't too fond of is how LONG IT TOOK FOR THE CONFESSION TO HAPPEN. This girl has been waiting for this man to confess his true feelings about her but he waited until the very last moment to do so. Like my guy, what are you doing? But let me stop talking before I say too much. It's a cute show tho… If you want a cute simple show check it out.

My Opinion: This show was very interesting. The main character no longer wants to be a virgin so he brings a spirit to be his girlfriend and later finds out that she is a "demon." This show was very comical and it was entertaining to watch. To be honest I don't have much of an opinion for this show besides it's something I would watch once and keep it pushing. It's not that the show was bad or anything but I feel like the show had a lot more potential. The show felt rushed and the storyline felt kind of too simple for my liking. I don't know I just felt like there was something missing but I can't seem to wrap my finger around it.

The Flame’s Daughter: (First Episode:) March 1, 2018 (Final Episode:) April 6, 2018 (52 Episodes)

Genres: Historical, Romance, Wuxia, drama

My opinion: This is the first show I have ever watched where YOU HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMETHING GOOD TO HAPPEN. What I mean is one bad thing happens, then it continues and continues and you start to lose hope that ANYTHING GOOD WILL HAPPEN. I got so mad at this show but for some odd reason, I couldn’t stop watching it. I don’t know if it had to do with the fact that I was curious about how things were going to end… OR because of the attractive characters… like Lei Jinghong and Zhan Feng… ANYWAYS THAT’S BESIDES THE POINT. Honestly, I would recommend watching the show but I will warn you that there are some cringe scenes (not as bad as k-dramas) and THIS SHOW WILL GET YOU MAD and maybe lost hope for a happy ending…

My Opinion: THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. First I would like to say I LOVE THIS SHOW. Honestly, if anyone asks me what’s my favorite show this will have to be up there. I fell in love with the characters. I swear I don’t think I could ever see anyone else play Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji better than Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan. They did amazing and although the two main characters don’t exactly say they like one another, their chemistry is amazing. Like there is so much that I want to say but I am scared that I will spoil it for the ones who haven’t seen this drama. All I want to say is if you like fighting, a love story and drama well this is a perfect one for you. If you watch this, let me know what you think because I guarantee you will get hooked. My older sister recommended this drama to my friends and I and that was it, we all grew this love for this drama… I am telling you, please watch this, you won’t regret it. (By the way this drama is a boys love drama however there isn’t any intimacy due to Chinese censorship)

My Opinion: DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. First I want to say I absolutely love this show. I love everything about it. I love the romance, I love the story plot, I love the chemistry of the main characters, I love the soundtrack, I love the drama… I just love everything about this show. I don’t know personally I am the type of person who is into angst storylines. I think I should mention that. If you’re the type of person who is not into storylines that involve a lot of tragic events this is not the show for you. Although there will be cute events, it’s like a roller coaster… It goes up and up and you think everything will be fine and BOOM YOU’RE GOING DOWN… and next thing you know you’re holding a box of tissues wiping your tears away. I think what really captivates me about liking this show is the fact that although their acting (obviously) you can really feel their emotion when something happens. Like they just did one hell of a job with this show. OH AND ALSO if you have watched this show and you claim that Jin Mi should have been with Run Yu instead of the Phoenix I DO NOT AGREE. But let me not get started before I spoil everything… PLEASE TAKE A CHANCE TO WATCH THIS YOU WON’T REGRET IT.

Love and Destiny: (First Episode:) July 15, 2019 (Last Episode:) August 16, 2019 (60 Episodes) 

Genres: Historical, Romance, Wuxia, Fantasy 

My Opinion:  This drama was cute. Okay, you know what no I shouldn’t even say that because this drama had me go on a roller coaster ride… But then again anytime I watch any wuxia I always have moments where I’m happy, sad, and then ready to jump on the screen and fight someone. Jesus the main character goes through so much. Like, damn girl even in the last episode… But this show kind of resembled Ashes of Love, just a little bit I think that’s why I enjoyed it. The only thing that I hate is that the evil character always tends to live longer than they should. Cross that sometimes they never die like in this case, I swear the evil people did not die, and I’m like WHY?! I don’t know man I mean I could say so much but I will keep it short and simple. WATCH IT :)

My Opinion: So before watching this I have previously watched Moonlovers: Scarlet heart the Korean version and loved it. I was then told that it was based on this drama and a girl just had to check it out. After watching these two dramas I would necessarily say I have a preference for one over the other… I mean to be fair the Korean one had its perks and so did this one. Personally this drama I felt like the chemistry and relationships among the characters felt much more personal than in the Korean one. I felt like they had great chemistry and I could see the genuine love and friendship among the characters. If you watched the Korean version I would recommend watching this one. Or if you haven’t watched the Korean one, watch this one first…

My Opinion: There is a lot I can say about this show but I will try my hardest to keep it as vague as possible. I don’t want to be responsible for any spoiler alert. The first thing I would like to say is I personally enjoyed the show. I definitely sense the chemistry between the two main characters however there is one thing that did bother me… That is the lack of any romantic gesture. I think at most all he does is hug her and tell her I want to marry you… AND THEN THE SCENE WHEN THEY “KISSED” DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. I personally would have loved to see a lot more potential scenes between those two but whatever. Another thing I would like to say is there is an episode that literally made me cry. My sister tried to warn me and I thought how bad can it be… next thing I knew I was bawling my eyes out like a little kid… YEAH, so I think it’s safe to say YOU WILL CRY if you have a heart of course. Ummm the last thing I would like to address is the ending was a bit disappointing. My Opinion: Listen with all due respect, THIS SEASON WAS TRASH. Okay, hear me out… Before I watched this show I watched Moonlovers the Korean version and instantly fell in love. After watching it I always told myself how can they leave such a cliffhanger like this to an amazing show. Then when I discovered that Scarlet Heart was the original show I took my chances and took the time to watch it. The first season wasn’t bad, if anything I enjoyed myself watching it. Then I later discovered that this show had a second season and I got so happy because I thought YAY I was finally going to get the happy ever after finale Moonlovers didn’t get… GUESS WHAT! JOKES ON ME. Listen anyone who watches the first season… Please save your time and don’t bother watching the second season. It was so pointless. It was poorly written, in the end, they didn’t incorporate the fact that the two met in the past life and it was just from one bad event to the next. Like it was just a disaster and honestly don’t even get me started with the ending. LMAO the ending was a complete joke. Like honestly I was so dumbfounded at how bad the ending was. Don’t even get me started on that… I am going to end it here before I give out spoilers… JUST DONT WATCH IT. TRUST ME I AM DOING YALL A FAVOR.

My Opinion: I feel like the show overall had so much potential. I feel like eventually throughout the show I started to catch myself losing interest and it took me a little longer to finish the show. I feel like the writers of this show didn’t know what direction they wanted to go based on the storyline. ,. I mean the show wasn’t horrible if I was able to watch the whole thing. But I don’t think its a drama I would find myself rewatching. Zhang Bin Bin tho looks so good in this show.

My opinion: This is the first show I have ever watched where YOU HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMETHING GOOD TO HAPPEN. What I mean is one bad thing happens, then it continues and continues and you start to lose hope that ANYTHING GOOD WILL HAPPEN. I got so mad at this show but for some odd reason, I couldn’t stop watching it. I don’t know if it had to do with the fact that I was curious about how things were going to end… OR because of the attractive characters… like Lei Jinghong and Zhan Feng… ANYWAYS THAT’S BESIDES THE POINT. Honestly, I would recommend watching the show but I will warn you that there are some cringe scenes (not as bad as k-dramas) and THIS SHOW WILL GET YOU MAD and maybe lost hope for a happy ending…

My Rating: 8.5/10 (took points off because it pissed me off)

My Opinion: THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. First I would like to say I LOVE THIS SHOW. Honestly, if anyone asks me what’s my favorite show this will have to be up there. I fell in love with the characters. I swear I don’t think I could ever see anyone else play Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji better than Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan. They did amazing and although the two main characters don’t exactly say they like one another, their chemistry is amazing. Like there is so much that I want to say but I am scared that I will spoil it for the ones who haven’t seen this drama. All I want to say is if you like fighting, a love story and drama well this is a perfect one for you. If you watch this, let me know what you think because I guarantee you will get hooked. My older sister recommended this drama to my friends and I and that was it, we all grew this love for this drama… I am telling you, please watch this, you won’t regret it. (By the way this drama is a boys love drama however there isn’t any intimacy due to Chinese censorship)

My Opinion: DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. First I want to say I absolutely love this show. I love everything about it. I love the romance, I love the story plot, I love the chemistry of the main characters, I love the soundtrack, I love the drama… I just love everything about this show. I don’t know personally I am the type of person who is into angst storylines. I think I should mention that. If you’re the type of person who is not into storylines that involve a lot of tragic events this is not the show for you. Although there will be cute events, it’s like a roller coaster… It goes up and up and you think everything will be fine and BOOM YOU’RE GOING DOWN… and next thing you know you’re holding a box of tissues wiping your tears away. I think what really captivates me about liking this show is the fact that although their acting (obviously) you can really feel their emotion when something happens. Like they just did one hell of a job with this show. OH AND ALSO if you have watched this show and you claim that Jin Mi should have been with Run Yu instead of the Phoenix I DO NOT AGREE. But let me not get started before I spoil everything… PLEASE TAKE A CHANCE TO WATCH THIS YOU WON’T REGRET IT.

My Opinion:  This drama was cute. Okay, you know what no I shouldn’t even say that because this drama had me go on a roller coaster ride… But then again anytime I watch any wuxia I always have moments where I’m happy, sad, and then ready to jump on the screen and fight someone. Jesus the main character goes through so much. Like, damn girl even in the last episode… But this show kind of resembled Ashes of Love, just a little bit I think that’s why I enjoyed it. The only thing that I hate is that the evil character always tends to live longer than they should. Cross that sometimes they never die like in this case, I swear the evil people did not die, and I’m like WHY?! I don’t know man I mean I could say so much but I will keep it short and simple. WATCH IT :)

My Opinion: So before watching this I have previously watched Moonlovers: Scarlet heart the Korean version and loved it. I was then told that it was based on this drama and a girl just had to check it out. After watching these two dramas I would necessarily say I have a preference for one over the other… I mean to be fair the Korean one had its perks and so did this one. Personally this drama I felt like the chemistry and relationships among the characters felt much more personal than in the Korean one. I felt like they had great chemistry and I could see the genuine love and friendship among the characters. If you watched the Korean version I would recommend watching this one. Or if you haven’t watched the Korean one, watch this one first… 

My rating: 8.4/10

My Opinion: There is a lot I can say about this show but I will try my hardest to keep it as vague as possible. I don’t want to be responsible for any spoiler alert. The first thing I would like to say is I personally enjoyed the show. I definitely sense the chemistry between the two main characters however there is one thing that did bother me… That is the lack of any romantic gesture. I think at most all he does is hug her and tell her I want to marry you… AND THEN THE SCENE WHEN THEY “KISSED” DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. I personally would have loved to see a lot more potential scenes between those two but whatever. Another thing I would like to say is there is an episode that literally made me cry. My sister tried to warn me and I thought how bad can it be… next thing I knew I was bawling my eyes out like a little kid… YEAH, so I think it’s safe to say YOU WILL CRY if you have a heart of course. Ummm the last thing I would like to address is the ending was a bit disappointing. My Opinion: Okay... I am not going to lie I would first like to say that the storyline of this show is very 2 dimensional. Everything was rushed and unrealistic... Honestly, this show might not be for everyone. The reason why I continued to watch this show in the first place is because the main character is insanely good looking I mean look above. And the second reason is that the characters aren't like k-dramas where they are afraid to even hug. They display way more PDA... It's not like they took episode 10 to share a kiss... I mean if anything this show was straightforward and dived right in with no warning... But I just feel like the storyline was so rushed and it sucks but it's okay. I watched it and I don't regret it to be honest. Just watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: Honestly, it sucks that so far the Japanese dramas I’ve come across are short. To be honest the storyline of the story isn’t realistic. There is no way you will meet someone on an app and just randomly marry them because you want to get married to anyone… At least I doubt people do something like this but regardless I find the show cute. Honestly, I like both of the main characters together because she was cheeky and he was a tease. They both made a very cute couple and honestly, this is something I would rewatch and recommend to other people. It’s cute.

My Opinion: I don't know why I didn't know about this show sooner. In the beginning, I am not going to lie the main reason why I watched the show is because Dori Sakurada was in it and THE WAY HE LOOKS IN THIS SHOW IS EVERYTHING. But that's beside the point... Honestly, I don't regret watching it, I am excited to see season 2. This show gave me anxiety and there was a scene that got to me but I can't spoil it so let me keep it vague... If you're interested in watching a drama that involves the survival of the fittest, well this is your show. Honestly, if I was put in a situation like this I don't think I would survive... But before I end this Arisu, Nirgai, Karube, and Chishiya all hit differently...

My Opinion: WARNING THIS SHOW ISN'T FOR EVERYONE! Like this show is so odd. It had me smiling like a dummy because I was embarrassed for these characters... BUT THIS SHOW WAS ADDICTING. At one point I stayed up later than usual to squeeze 2 episodes in... To be honest at least for me so far this one was one of my favorite Japanese dramas... Even though it was so odd... Like the strangest story plot, I have ever come across, I just wanted to keep watching. I didn't know what to expect and I think that's why I liked it... I don't know about you guys, but I would give this show the benefit of the doubt... If you do watch it, let me know what you think.

My Opinion: Okay, this show had me with all types of mentions. Like why on earth did the evil teacher get a happy ending? Do evil people deserve good things? Is this what you're telling me? Listen this might be a little spoiler but that made me highly upset. I'm pretty sure she didn't even learn her lesson so I don't get why she got it so easy. But whatever, let me not get started. I mean the show wasn't bad. I mean I was highly disappointed with the ending but overall I'm just glad that the main characters learned a valuable lesson. The scenes of Dori Sakurada hit differently though I'm not gonna lie... BUT for anyone who decides to watch this, I want to let you know that this show will get you mad. You know how many times I wanted to jump on the screen and punch the teacher... No, I don't condone violence though but you know... yeah... Watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: So now I know where boys over flowers came from. To be honest, if I had to choose between this and boy over flowers, I liked this show a lot more. I think the reason I like this show a lot more better is because the main character is caught up in a love triangle, and although the second love interest had intentions of being with her he valued his friendship a lot more and helped with what he could to have them together. I don't know I feel like the relationship among friendship is a lot more genuine in this one than the Korean one. Don't get me wrong of course there are cringe parts included in this show but I'm here for it. Also, another thing I liked about the show is that the parents of the main character aren't money hungry. Although her parents wanted her to be with Domyoji Tsukasa for his title, they also wanted her to be happy. Like there were just small details that made me enjoy this show a little more than the other. I would say more but I don't want to give away much. . . I RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS.

My opinion: I finished yet another Japanese show. First I would like to say is that this show took me a lot longer to finish that it probably should have but I swear I have a good reason. It's not because it wasn't good, more like there was a point that this show was pissing me off that I had to give it some time off before I could continue. To be honest there was many moments when I wish the situation would have been handled different... but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Like the way the show went I enjoyed it but some parts made me wish things would have happened differently.... Yeah I'm trying hard not to spoil, but you should all still watch it. I watched this show on Netflix.

My Opinion: Okay, I will try my hardest to express how I feel about this show without giving any spoilers… Noticed how I said that I would try… NO PROMISES. If you don't want any spoilers then, to be honest, I wouldn't recommend reading this any longer. But… First I would like to say that I can't lie this show did catch me off guard. Most people that were after the main character was unexpected but then after the show would explain it, you're like damn I should have seen that coming. Oh, one thing that this show kind of disappointed me in is… Well, the person I wanted the main character with… THEY DIDN'T EVEN UP TOGETHER. I mean the bright side is at the end he learns his lesson but damn… that's it? I mean overall the show was good and I totally recommend it.

My Opinion: This show pissed me off more than it probably should have. The plot wasn't bad, but for a short show, it took a while for the two characters to finally accept one another true feelings. I mean cooking is the main idea in this show, but there is still romance included and it lacked it at times. I mean the show was a typical drama. The main character was interested in one character but as soon as she assumed he was hung up on his ex, she caught feelings for someone else. He was an asshole to her but would you look at that… HE LIKED HER TOO. Yes, cliche but sometimes cliche is nice because you know how it ends. LOLOL

My Opinion: When I first started to watch this show I began to wonder to myself why did this storyline look so familiar to me. Then after thinking back it hit me… This is the same storyline as the Kdrama playful kiss. After doing my research I discover of course that they received this storyline from a Manga… Now the question is if I had to choose between both dramas which one would I choose? Well to be fair when I watched the Korean version, it pissed me off how the director made the character so clingy and made it seem like the girl was incapable of doing anything without him by her side. This one has a similar concept but I don't know I caught myself finding her more tolerable… I don't know that's just me tho. The show isn't bad… I mean there were some scenes that I didn't like where she was all about the main character and it's like… I wish she learned to decide for herself and not for a man… SIGH but yeah :)

My Opinion: Before I even started to watch the show, I already had an idea of the story plot. I was recommended by numerous amount of people to watch the anime of this (which I am currently doing) and I even watched the first movie to this. However, as I compare this to the movie it's slightly different from how things turned out. I mean the show wasn't necessarily bad, just personally I wasn't too fond of the main character but that's okay. I can't even lie Kento Yamazaki looks so good playing L… I ain't even mad about that. But I am not going to make this long if you are interested in mystery and "crime" then this is a show for you. There is 0 romance at least genuine romance in this show so if that's what you're looking for… Don't watch the show.

My Opinion: I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed every time I watch a drama I am always hoping to have the main character go to the second lead. I feel like the second lead always tends to show far more interest and put a lot more effort than the first character. BUT ANYWAYS my thoughts on the show? I found it cute. I mean it's not realistic at all, but that's what the dramas are for, to escape reality and live this fantasy life. The main character is adorable, I like how character and how optimistic he always turns out to be. I would for sure recommend this show to watch.

My Opinion: To be honest when it comes to any kind of doctor show I am usually not really up for watching them. I don't know why but they don't ever really catch my attention… But I gave this show the benefit of the doubt because why not? All I have to say is after watching this show I honestly don't regret watching the show. I think it was nice to change up the theme of the show. Most of the time I usually go for romance but this one was different. It was about a talented individual getting looked down upon just because he is autistic. I can't even lie to you all, some of these episodes had me tearing up… I don't know if it's the age that's making me more sensitive or if it's something in the air… BUT I WANT YOU ALL TO TAKE A CHANCE AND WATCH THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT BAD.

I mean this is pretty simple self explanatory show. If you want to watch something that's light hearted and a cute small love story well this is the show for you. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND.

My Opinion: To be honest I noticed when it comes to shows and movies I tend to be biased and go for plots that include romance. So before watching this show, I had my doubts that I wasn't going to enjoy this series just because the plot was different from what I am accustomed to. But believe it or not, I actually enjoyed this series very much. I like the determination and the way that friendship is greatly emphasized in this series. If you are interested in any shows that include the concept of friendship, video games, and the world of business I would certainly recommend this show. Or if you are someone who wants to change your horizons I would also recommend this show.

My Opinion: Listen I know it took me a while to write a review on Alice in Borderland season 2. When I heard that season 2 was coming out I was so hyped up just because this is one of my favorite Japanese dramas. However, my hectic schedule didn't allow me to get to the show but here we are. Usually, when shows come back with another season this is where it started to flop. However, believe it or not, the show continued on the right path. There were many more challenges being shown, and a lot of scenes that had me on the edge of my seat… AND A WHOLE COASTER RIDE OF emotions. I heard that there is supposed to be a season 3… How? I have no idea… The ending left me rather confused. I know I kept the review vague but I don't want to give any kind of spoiler.

My Opinion: This show was bittersweet. I will try my hardest not to give much of a spoiler alert, but you have two characters who are head over heels for one another. Next thing you know the male lead unfortunately passes away and you get left wondering how what happened. Then out of the blue a few years later the main lead comes to life and everyone wonders how this happened. I guess the only thing I wasn't too fond of is how LONG IT TOOK FOR THE CONFESSION TO HAPPEN. This girl has been waiting for this man to confess his true feelings about her but he waited until the very last moment to do so. Like my guy, what are you doing? But let me stop talking before I say too much. It's a cute show tho… If you want a cute simple show check it out.

My Opinion: Okay... I am not going to lie I would first like to say that the storyline of this show is very 2 dimensional. Everything was rushed and unrealistic... Honestly, this show might not be for everyone. The reason why I continued to watch this show in the first place is because the main character is insanely good looking I mean look above. And the second reason is that the characters aren't like k-dramas where they are afraid to even hug. They display way more PDA... It's not like they took episode 10 to share a kiss... I mean if anything this show was straightforward and dived right in with no warning... But I just feel like the storyline was so rushed and it sucks but it's okay. I watched it and I don't regret it to be honest. Just watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: Honestly, it sucks that so far the Japanese dramas I’ve come across are short. To be honest the storyline of the story isn’t realistic. There is no way you will meet someone on an app and just randomly marry them because you want to get married to anyone… At least I doubt people do something like this but regardless I find the show cute. Honestly, I like both of the main characters together because she was cheeky and he was a tease. They both made a very cute couple and honestly, this is something I would rewatch and recommend to other people. It’s cute.

My Opinion: I don't know why I didn't know about this show sooner. In the beginning, I am not going to lie the main reason why I watched the show is because Dori Sakurada was in it and THE WAY HE LOOKS IN THIS SHOW IS EVERYTHING. But that's beside the point... Honestly, I don't regret watching it, I am excited to see season 2. This show gave me anxiety and there was a scene that got to me but I can't spoil it so let me keep it vague... If you're interested in watching a drama that involves the survival of the fittest, well this is your show. Honestly, if I was put in a situation like this I don't think I would survive... But before I end this Arisu, Nirgai, Karube, and Chishiya all hit differently...

My Opinion: WARNING THIS SHOW ISN'T FOR EVERYONE! Like this show is so odd. It had me smiling like a dummy because I was embarrassed for these characters... BUT THIS SHOW WAS ADDICTING. At one point I stayed up later than usual to squeeze 2 episodes in... To be honest at least for me so far this one was one of my favorite Japanese dramas... Even though it was so odd... Like the strangest story plot, I have ever come across, I just wanted to keep watching. I didn't know what to expect and I think that's why I liked it... I don't know about you guys, but I would give this show the benefit of the doubt... If you do watch it, let me know what you think.

My Opinion: Okay, this show had me with all types of mentions. Like why on earth did the evil teacher get a happy ending? Do evil people deserve good things? Is this what you're telling me? Listen this might be a little spoiler but that made me highly upset. I'm pretty sure she didn't even learn her lesson so I don't get why she got it so easy. But whatever, let me not get started. I mean the show wasn't bad. I mean I was highly disappointed with the ending but overall I'm just glad that the main characters learned a valuable lesson. The scenes of Dori Sakurada hit differently though I'm not gonna lie... BUT for anyone who decides to watch this, I want to let you know that this show will get you mad. You know how many times I wanted to jump on the screen and punch the teacher... No, I don't condone violence though but you know... yeah... Watch at your own risk.

My Opinion: So now I know where boys over flowers came from. To be honest, if I had to choose between this and boy over flowers, I liked this show a lot more. I think the reason I like this show a lot more better is because the main character is caught up in a love triangle, and although the second love interest had intentions of being with her he valued his friendship a lot more and helped with what he could to have them together. I don't know I feel like the relationship among friendship is a lot more genuine in this one than the Korean one. Don't get me wrong of course there are cringe parts included in this show but I'm here for it. Also, another thing I liked about the show is that the parents of the main character aren't money hungry. Although her parents wanted her to be with Domyoji Tsukasa for his title, they also wanted her to be happy. Like there were just small details that made me enjoy this show a little more than the other. I would say more but I don't want to give away much. . . I RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS.

When she loses her job at a bakery and has difficulty finding another, Misaki suddenly meets Shibasaki Chiaki, her first and unrequited love from her school days. My Opinion: When I first started to watch this show I began to wonder to myself why did this storyline look so familiar to me. Then after thinking back it hit me… This is the same storyline as the Kdrama playful kiss. After doing my research I discover of course that they received this storyline from a Manga… Now the question is if I had to choose between both dramas which one would I choose? Well to be fair when I watched the Korean version, it pissed me off how the director made the character so clingy and made it seem like the girl was incapable of doing anything without him by her side. This one has a similar concept but I don't know I caught myself finding her more tolerable… I don't know that's just me tho. The show isn't bad… I mean there were some scenes that I didn't like where she was all about the main character and it's like… I wish she learned to decide for herself and not for a man… SIGH but yeah :)

My Opinion: Before I even started to watch the show, I already had an idea of the story plot. I was recommended by numerous amount of people to watch the anime of this (which I am currently doing) and I even watched the first movie to this. However, as I compare this to the movie it's slightly different from how things turned out. I mean the show wasn't necessarily bad, just personally I wasn't too fond of the main character but that's okay. I can't even lie Kento Yamazaki looks so good playing L… I ain't even mad about that. But I am not going to make this long if you are interested in mystery and "crime" then this is a show for you. There is 0 romance at least genuine romance in this show so if that's what you're looking for… Don't watch the show.

My Opinion: I don't know if it's just me, but I noticed every time I watch a drama I am always hoping to have the main character go to the second lead. I feel like the second lead always tends to show far more interest and put a lot more effort than the first character. BUT ANYWAYS my thoughts on the show? I found it cute. I mean it's not realistic at all, but that's what the dramas are for, to escape reality and live this fantasy life. The main character is adorable, I like how character and how optimistic he always turns out to be. I would for sure recommend this show to watch.

My Opinion: To be honest when it comes to any kind of doctor show I am usually not really up for watching them. I don't know why but they don't ever really catch my attention… But I gave this show the benefit of the doubt because why not? All I have to say is after watching this show I honestly don't regret watching the show. I think it was nice to change up the theme of the show. Most of the time I usually go for romance but this one was different. It was about a talented individual getting looked down upon just because he is autistic. I can't even lie to you all, some of these episodes had me tearing up… I don't know if it's the age that's making me more sensitive or if it's something in the air… BUT I WANT YOU ALL TO TAKE A CHANCE AND WATCH THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT BAD.

My Opinion: First I would like to say if you aren't comfortable watching a boy love drama this is not for you. To be honest this show was short but it was cute. It definitely gives me like a cute first love concept and I like that although the main character was pretty monotone he clearly had a crush on the other main lead. I mean this is pretty simple self explanatory show. If you want to watch something that's light hearted and a cute small love story well this is the show for you. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND.

My Opinion: To be honest I noticed when it comes to shows and movies I tend to be biased and go for plots that include romance. So before watching this show, I had my doubts that I wasn't going to enjoy this series just because the plot was different from what I am accustomed to. But believe it or not, I actually enjoyed this series very much. I like the determination and the way that friendship is greatly emphasized in this series. If you are interested in any shows that include the concept of friendship, video games, and the world of business I would certainly recommend this show. Or if you are someone who wants to change your horizons I would also recommend this show.

My Opinion: Listen I know it took me a while to write a review on Alice in Borderland season 2. When I heard that season 2 was coming out I was so hyped up just because this is one of my favorite Japanese dramas. However, my hectic schedule didn't allow me to get to the show but here we are. Usually, when shows come back with another season this is where it started to flop. However, believe it or not, the show continued on the right path. There were many more challenges being shown, and a lot of scenes that had me on the edge of my seat… AND A WHOLE COASTER RIDE OF emotions. I heard that there is supposed to be a season 3… How? I have no idea… The ending left me rather confused. I know I kept the review vague but I don't want to give any kind of spoiler.
