Before she walked the aisle
One of my high school best friends, Kathrine Joy just got married (insert wedding emojis here). Oh, how time flies so fast. But of course, we didn’t let her go down that aisle without the tradition, that is a BRIDAL SHOWER. Woohoo!

Her Maid of Honor and also our best friend, Arriane, was the mastermind of the event. It was her first time setting up an event like this so planning was really hard. But because she was so determined to give our bride best friend a party she deserves, guess what? She made it.

We invited our whole high school barkada but sadly not everyone can make it due to prior scheds and other priorities. Good thing, Arriane got to invite Joy’s future sisters-in-law (that time) to join us as joy bidded goodbye to single-hood. :)
Our chosen theme was a Barbie Sparty so we just wanted it to be girly and fun and pink and maarte, JUST LIKE US. HAHA. Arriane found just the right place for us to celebrate our Barbie-themed Party, Pink Me Up Beauty Nail an Dry Bar. The salon located at 2F Lee Gardens Condominuim, EDSA Shaw. And blogs weren’t lying when they said that the way to the salon is a maze. It really was. But it did not disappoint. :)
It was pink and gray and cute and fun and girly. I think my ten-year-old-self would have danced in celebration upon entering the place.

We availed of the manicure-pedicure and foot spa package for us, guests while we had our bride have the salon’s manicure-pedicure services, hand and foot spa, and body massage, their ultimate relaxation package, just what she deserves before she enters another chapter of her life. :)

It was my first legit bridal shower and I hope that our bride enjoyed what we prepared as much as I did. Really proud of the girls for pulling off one heck of a shower.
For Joy. Best friend, I can really see that you are very happy right now and I wish it stays that way. There will be tough times, they say, but you are a strong woman. I know that whatever problems you and Tam may face, your love and commitment with each other will be stronger than that. I/we, your friends, will always be here for you. We are just a vibe away, you know that. #SupportSystem Can’t wait till you guys have your little bundle/s of love na. Go, make beautiful babies! Haha.
