OH MY GODDDD I CANT BELIEVE IT ABAGAHSV Im so glad we're on the same signal,,,,communicate with you telepathically. Anyways AUSGHS I'm so distraught fuckkk imagine when Cedric gets infected he tries to hide it from Olivier while the French surgeon is diagnosed with the inability to not give a fuck so he was all worried and kept on asking. In a moment of like idk crashing out he yelled at Olivier and calling him real mean names. Olivier felt??? very mixed emotions and decided to leave Cedric alone...Cedric doesn't like that I feel like he would be really afraid of succumbing to the Blight especially alone but he also doesn't want to get Olivier involved for whatever reason....and the last moment before he fully lose consciousness and became like an undead he would call out Olivier's name one last time. Okay that's enough sad stuff....imagine Olivier kissing Cedric's eye scar though YAYYYY (Also can we moot up or dms....I feel like I'm obliterating your ask box rn sjdbjs)

pondering about Cedric and Olivier again grins, I like to think that they both expressed differently when the other gets infected but both are devastated by the loss. If you think about it Cedric thought his men abandoned him so maybe he got like trust and a wee-bit attachment issue, as much as he hated Olivier (irrationally because he bottles up) he also depends much on the other for the company while Olivier treats Cedric and sticks to his shenanigans because Cedric is the only reminder for Olivier to keep on trying, as he has witnessed many people die he doesn't want the same to happen to Cedric. When one of them gets infected, the other almost literally lost their will to live, like, a part of them. Olivier failed to protect what is last of him, he failed again - he always fucked up. Cedric lost a friend, hell someone who's willing to be with him and won't likely abandon him like his men did. Both of them lost what has kept them going. Basically like that one Por que te vas song. Okay one last thing, I think Cedric would be the one to put Olivier down with little to no hesitation but he MOURNED that French surgeon like crazy, always have the surgeon on his mind and probably kept his bag around even if it kinda makes him look ridiculous. Olivier would be more hesitant because he believed he can save Cedric again, I'm not saying he wouldn't kill Cedric but he would do it with hesitation and puts up the risk of not killing him in time and gets mauled/bitten.
