TAGGING: Tina Cohen-Chang and Kurt Hummel ( @khummels )
LOCATION: ATM Vestibule in NYC
NOTES: While stopping by the bank before her client meeting, Tina finds herself stuck with one Kurt Hummel.
As Tina rushed around her tiny apartment, she couldn’t find her black heel. She came home and threw it at the wall but somehow it disappeared between the previous night and that morning causing her already rushed morning to feel even worse. She had set her alarm for 6 a.m. due to her meeting with her newest client set for 8 a.m. but her alarm didn’t go off and now it was close to 7:15 and she was still looking for her damn shoe. After tossing around her living room furniture, she found it hidden behind the fish tank that she had set up in the hall.
“Thank God,” Tina mumbled to herself, as she grabbed her bag and keys and headed out the door. She was late and she was going to be even later if she didn’t get a move on. The taxi quickly came to a halt as soon as Tina waved her hand and she directed him to the nearest ATM since she had to get money for bills that were due when she got off work. She should have paid them the week before but one thing about Tina was that she was a massive procrastinator and waited until the last possible second to handle her business. At least her personal business. It only took about five minutes before she was arriving at the ATM and she told the guy to wait for her since she would only be a second.
Rushing into the small area to the ATM’s, she put her card in and was about to get her money when the lights flickered and shut off before the backup lights came on. Her heart started to race as she rushed to the door for them to be locked. Kicking it with her heel, the girl huffed as she looked at the only other person in the vestibule with her; Kurt Hummel, someone that she only knew through mutual friends. “Looks like we’re stuck.”
Kurt scrolled through his work email as he brushed his teeth. “Oh darn it,” He said rolling his eyes. He remembered he had to contribute money towards a secretary’s retirement gift. He spit his toothpaste out and rinsed his mouth before heading towards his brown messenger bag to check his wallet. He pet Marc while on his way. “I’ll feed you soon, bud,” He said as he opened the bag.
“Damn,” He cursed. He only had a few dollar bills in his wallet, which wouldn’t be enough to cover his cost of the gift at all. He then wrote a note in his Reminders app and went to feed Marc. He then took out his overnights oats, and began to eat it while scrolling through his phone again. He smiled at Marc who was chowing away at his food. He filled his coffee cup again before packing his lunch into his bag.
Kurt then slipped on his Burberry boots and put on his coat. He gave Marc a pet and refilled his water bowl before heading out the door, with his coffee mug in hand. Kurt nodded in aa greeting to his neighbor who was also leaving for the day.
Once he reached the ATM vestibule , there was someone else there. He waited while he scrolled through then news. He looked up when the lights flickered. “What?” He asked in confusion. He looked up at the woman who was stuck in there with him. “Oh, you’re Tina.” He said with a small smile. “Yeah, it does. I needed money for a work gift, since I spent the last of my cash at the bodega the other day,” he said. He looked around the ATM. “Is there someone to call at least?”
