It was actually adorable on how Naegi was doing his best not to give eye contact to which he can understand as that’s just asking for some trouble or in Jun’s case, fun. Having his mate this close did make him relax to some extent especially seeing that Naegi is perfectly fine despite the very long silence between them.

“Well. If you do that again, could you at least message me? Geez and they say demons are heartless and you pull this stunt on me.” He let out a small sigh before poking the smaller male’s cheek, “Now, how about a kiss hm~? My eyes will be blue if that’s what your worried about.”

Naegi may or may not have thought of messaging Jun this whole time. Telling him he completely forgot that Jun has his own phone would be the biggest, highly silliest statement.

It wasn’t like he didn’t trust him enough to tell him of where he was about to go, or his...insecurities? He’d like to think what he has with Jun after all the shenanigans are as genuine as they can be. Maybe he’s still finding this idea of being with Jun a bit bizarre.
